The amenities were amazing. And the beach gear really came in handy when we decided to go see sea turtles. And we did!

Really nice cozy place with plenty of space for two. It was an easy 10-min drive to Kona, right down the street from Heavenly Hawaiian coffee farm (also groceries, coffee shop, and poke), and maybe about 20-30 min to Two Step Beach. All in all, a great, peaceful location. We really liked that there was a washer/dryer as we were in the middle of a long trip; also loved the fully stocked kitchen as it enabled us to make some meals. Loved that they provided beach gear like flippers, boogie board, etc. AC worked well. Everything was nice and clean, and check-in directions were helpful to find the place!

Matt was an amazing host. This was our first stay in Hawaii and set a very high bar right at the beginning of our trip. This was by far our favorite stay over the course of 3 weeks on 3 different islands! There was nothing to complain about. Everything was relaxed and easy, we felt safe and and taken care of yet had a lot of privacy.

portable air conditioning noisy and not quite efficient in cooling the area. Would be useful to have instructions for tv, coffee machine etc.

Loved everything about this house. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but it is far enough from the main road, so barely any cars passing by, no loud noises of downtown since it's tucked away in a residential area. LR couch and bed were comfortable to sleep on. Bathroom was clean with all the toiletries you need. There's a full kitchen, washer and dryer. TV had all the streaming apps Netflix, Disney+, Youtube, etc. The morning view was beautiful and it was cool seeing the geckos on the windows at night!

Not really a con for me, but the microwave is set on top of the fridge. Anyone 5 1/2 ft (167cm) and under is going to have a difficult time reaching the buttons and taking out their food without a step stool. Also, while not the owners fault at all, the invasive coqui frogs' whistles and calls around the area can get pretty loud and persistent into the night, just an FYI.

Everything was exceptional. The home was clean & inviting. Comfortable was an understatement. We have never stayed at a vacation rental home, but this by far was the best place we have ever booked. Matt was very accommodating & was available whenever we had questions or needed something. We had everything we needed for a quiet, comfortable stay

The shower was very slippery & I had to put a towel on the shower floor to shower & not slip. This could be a potentially dangerous situation. I did mention to Matt that shower strips or something should be placed in the shower. It is also very dark on the property at night, & although there are solar lights, they are not very bright. Also, some sort of strong lighting at the proprty entrance would make it easier to locate from the main road. Matt has done a very good job of trying to make it easier for guests & he was still working on improvements. This is a great place to stay! If we ever come back, we will certainly stay here!
