Very friendly and helpful family, amazing meals and drinks for very good prices. The location was perfect, outside the village but still within walking distance. Loved the jungle sounds. I hope to come back one day!

Jip and her daughter are the kindest and warmest people I met during my entire holiday. They really go out of their way to help and accommodate you. For example, they give great advice on activities (they check in with the guests afterwards and they only book with those guides/companies/accommodations that are good value and good service) , they helped organise convenient and good value transport, and they even gave me a dry bag for my trip on the lake to keep! They really take the hint to respond to ask questions and requests. Jip also cooks delicious food, which you can have at the cosy restaurant or on the lovely veranda by the bungalow. The bungalow had all I needed. Temperatures dropped quite a lot at night so the fan was fine for me. The yoga studio is right around the corner. It is a nice and quite spot, gorgeous garden, with only 20-30min walk to the town. I rented a Moto and loved driving around the gorgeous area. The hosts are honoust, hard working, and helpful. Could not recommend more!

10 points are not enough The location is, as the name says, on top of a hill with beautiful views. The clean bungalows are excellent with a spacious terrace to sit and enjoy the view and in the morning the sounds of calling gibbons. You can use mountain bikes for free. The service from the mother and daughter who run the small-scale resort (3 bungalows and 3 tents) is unbelievable. It's worth more than 5 stars. Everything is arranged for you to perfection. The food that the mother cooks tastes delicious. If you like quiet locations with top service, don't hesitate to stay here for a few nights. And don't forget to book a tour with an overnight stay in Khao Sok National Park. It is an experience you will never forget.

It was clean and the place is beatifull. I could see the sunrise in the morning from my tent. Besides, the staff is nice and offer help to organize activities for you. They offer a good menu in the kitchen. It is very important, sonce there is no other option in the area.

I takes half an hour walking to the place from the village. They offer you transport for 100 bahts or even 300 bahts to drive you to an activity and picking you from it. So, in the end, if you are a solo traveller becomes expensive. Renting a motorbike is also 300 bahts per day. Finally, I ended up with a contracture. I found the mattress too hard and the pillow too high.

we stayed in bungallows, no place to put your staff and no cleaning during our stay ( they do clean a basket when we asked)

The owner is great - we were a bit lost and she helped us in everything, she booked a trip for us and a bus back to Krabi. The bungalow is as described - located a bit outside of the village, but there are bicycles available so it’s not a problem at all :)

We absolutely loved our stay at Khao Sok Hill Top Resort. The place is great, the view is amazing, it is very quiet and a perfect escape from the busy little town. We were welcomed by a wonderful Lady (Lom) and she took such great care of us during the whole time. Her cooking skills are great and with Jip they planned all of our activities (night safari, lake trip and overnight stay, transportation/transfer etc). Once we checked in, everything was organized for us which is a massive +. We will definitely come back to Khao Sok and stay there again.

The host of this accomodation is an exceptional person. She helped us with all our problems and arranged a one day trip to Cheow Lan lake. Also she can cook very well so don't miss her meals. This place is the best choice you can make if you' re visiting Khao Sok because the national park is quite busy and you're gonna need a good guide :)

Amazing staff, they were so kind and friendly to us. They aranged our departure and acrivities there and the food was fantastic

Jip is such a wonderful host and helped us throughout our stay! She organised a lake tour and jungle hike for us and she was always happy to pick us up from the town. You have stunning views over the jungle from the balcony outside the room and because the hotel is quite remote, you can really hear all the chirping and animals at night. Seeing the fireflies at dinner was a personal favourite!

Coming back from a long hike and not having air-conditioning was a bit frustrating, but at night the fan did the job and we even had to move the fan off us because we got too cold! Bring mosquito repellent and long, thin trousers because you will get bitten (this will happen everywhere in Khao Sok though).

Lovely host - Rommani made our stay special! The place is so calm and magical. Close to a yoga studio. It was so nice to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning and then go for a yoga session. Close to Khao Sok National Park. We had a walk in the jungle with a guide and bonfire in the evening. Highly recommend!

Can't recommend this homely place enough. The three bungalows are a few kilometers away from the main town, but that's the charm of it - it is a peaceful recluse with jungle vibes. Views of distant rock formations are accompanied by gibbon songs. We were picked up by the owner from the transfer drop off and taken care at every step - very good value breakfast, packed lunches, dinners as if made by your mom, recommendations and organisation of trip to the lake and hike to the jungle, complimentary deserts, making of a bonfire - all with a heartwarming smiles and laughs. Thanks for the great stay!

Staying in Khao Sok Hill Top Resort you can get what cannot be bought. The host - Jip is the kindest person, with open heart. She will make sure you stay is comfortable and full of adventures. You can ask her to arrange trips with a guide in the National Park. I highly recommend one day boat trip and one day trekking in the jungle. It is not regular touristic resort with a pool and air conditioner. Hill Top resort is a good fit for people who are looking for real Thai countryside atmosphere. Homemade food, beautiful mountain view, lemurs songs in the morning, hammock on the tree. We will miss that place, people and the cat <3 I hope we will get back one day!

Lovely and honest host with very good english skills. They'll help you arange trips without paying extra. Food was also great. I had traditionally over the fire cooked rice and chicken.

not as close to town so it’s a bit of a walk, this is good for privacy and to get exercise walking but a challenge if you want to get anywhere quickly.

The location is superb, the host nice and welcoming. It is about 3km from the village but it is a very nice walk down hill among heveas and palm trees and the host will come to pick you up if you want a ride going back up. The food is good too. On our last morning gibbons could be heard in the forest behind the house. A fantastic wake up call 🙂 Don't hesitate to use the newly built sauna. It is very relaxing after a long day outdoor.

On our first full day there when we came back after a great day outdoor the room hadn't been done and the towels changed. After a day hiking in the national park it was disappointing. Fresh towels would have been greatly appreciated especially as we had been bitten by leeches.

Good food, but no buffet/package style eating like it says in the info.

Don't follow Google Map instructions. They will take you completely wrong. Two ways in, one really bad and one quite good. Take the road leading to the national park. Owner not that concern over that place mark is in the wrong place.
