Great location and home. Was a great place for our family of 8. Was disappointed because the hot tub was not working and we only had 7 towels for 8 people so we had to wash a lot and go buy some to use . Overall great home and location.

The pros of this house were definitely the elevator and the close proximity to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and so nice for morning walks. The downsides were that the house has been well loved and needs some attention. The carpets are stained with what looks like animal urine and were dirty. It didn’t look like they were cleaned prior to our arrival. We found food and crumbs all over. The comforters were too small for the beds (definitely not what was pictured) and the upstairs bedroom comforter was covered with dog hair. Many things in the house were just a little tired and worn out.

The house needs a lot of repairs and the exterior Had a lots of trash under the house and in the bushes. The elevator did not work! The kitchen was very dirty. The appliances need to be serviced and installed correctly. The dishwasher is loose and doesn’t work correctly The range is not level and was filthy . The handrails on the upper deck are loose and a big safety issue. The ice maker only worked part of the time. The vacuum cleaner on the upper level doesn’t work. Lights don’t work on front stairs. 1st impression means a lot !!!!!!

Nice older house was good for 5 adults and 2 children. House was beside the public access walkway so getting to the beach was fantatsic. Kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware but was lacking cookware. There was only 1 fridge but the ice maker in it was good. Family enjoyed the separate sitting room for kids to play.

We spend a week at this house and it was more than we could’ve ever imagined the description that the company puts out is a little vague no offense to the writer of that description but if I may I’d like to give you a little more in-depth look into what to expect at this home because there were so many things that were in the description that we were pleasantly surprised about first the floorplan there is no ground floor it is old garage but the elevator does go to that level The first level has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms in the washer and dryer on this level as well the only room that doesn’t have a Oceanview or a deck access is the pyramid bunkbed room also note the television converter is in that room please do not unplug it or you will not have television we found this out. The double queen room does share a hall bath with the king bed room that has deck access but the king bedroom does have a private door to the bathroom the double queen room has dual balcony access front and back and the other king room which has a hall bath that it shares with the bunkbed room has deck access in an dune view. Upstairs you have an open concept dining living and kitchen area you also have a small game room off to the one side with a door that closes a half bath off of the kitchen and then the master suite that does have deck access and a private bath just outside of the master suite is the hot tub but there are chairs and stuff on the upper deck and it does have a partial Oceanview. The equipment in the kitchen was a huge surprise there’s a waffle maker we used it we loved it it has a crockpot mini dishes pots and pans a blender two sweepers and a side-by-side fridge with an icemaker although the icemaker was very finicky it worked half the time we were there so my suggestion would be get ice. It also have a cappuccino maker and a regular coffee maker The house had DIRECTV for television which was perfect for our needs as we usually use it for background noise and had it on the DIY channel. The elevator was super nice for bringing baggage to each floor although I will say the elevator could be finicky when you pressed number one it took you to the second level bedroom but if you push it again it did take you to garage level to be able to load and unload your possessions. If you plan on being there for at least a week I would suggest bringing extra dishwashing liquid tablets or powder you are provided with 3+ a sponge and a little bottle of dishwashing liquid also bring trash bags as you may need them there was ample enough toilet paper for our a group of seven for the entire week we actually left the stuff we brought. The linens were clean and fresh and towels were provided for the bath Each room had their own set but plan ahead if you plan on having a larger group then we had. Waves is kind of remote for the area there is not much although there is a Dollar General at the end of the road and just to the left but there are plenty of Apple shops and things to see and there is an arcade just up the road and the Rodanthe pier is definitely a place I would recommend visiting also Avon in the Food Lion is only about 20 minutes south of you so if you do go out to supply or grocery shopping make a list and make his little trips as possible but definitely visit Avon,Buxton, Frisco and even on down the coast as it is beautiful.

Great house and the elevator is so very wonderful! Furniture is comfortable and ample. Decks & pool have nice furnishings as well. Kitchen is a little small when cooking for 10, but it works. There are plenty of dishes, bowls, glasses, mugs, silverware and even nice wine glasses!

we love having an elevator.......it makes life so much easier than dragging all our gear up 3 flights of stairs. And the boardwalk over the dunes helps make life better for seniors! This house is great. Can't say enough about it!

Sea Tower kitchen amenities were the best I`ve ever seen: blender, toaster, mixer, Kitchen Aide, juicer, zested, and plenty of dishes. My children enjoyed the ample games, puzzles, and dot-to-dot books. Biggest downside is staircase in the middle of kitchen preventing several people to work with Mom preparing meals. Love the layout of the house. Nice size bedrooms and family room. We really like the tower room for reading. Yes the circular staircase is a bit out of place where it`s located, but after over 25 visits to Avon and staying in quite a few different homes my wife and I think it`s the me of the nicest!! The layout of this home was ideal! Every bedroom (except for the bunk room) had an ocean view and large bathroom. The outside facilities were very convenient.
