Comfortable, clean and close to everything!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Nest. It’s spotless, well-equipped, and close to the beach as well as downtown. Communication with the hosts was great, too. We’ll absolutely book again!

We stayed there for a gurls weekend getaway and the place was absolutely perfect. Very short walk to the beach, cool shops and plenty of nightlife. The house was well appointed and came with everything you might need to make your stay comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with utensils, cookware, spices, and olive oil. Fully stocked bathroom, including extra toiletries in case you forgot some. They even had a little kid training potty in the closet. I would absolutely recommend for a family or an adult getaway. It was just perfect.

This house was just perfect for our getaway weekend. It’s spotless and very well appointed. The beds were so comfortable. This home is better than the listing pictures! We had a great time, thank you!

The home is lovely and the location, in a quiet neighborhood, is excellent. Doug, the owner, was prompt when replying to all my messages. The house was furnished very nicely, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Nothing negative about our stay, all positive. We were close to everything we wanted to do and everywhere we wanted go. Great shopping, dining and beach. Would definitely stay here again the next time I travel to South Haven.

Fantastic getaway!

A beautiful and peaceful getaway, a home away from home! A wonderful place to decompress, relax, restore and spend quality time with my daughter and two granddaughters. This home is beautifully decorated, clean and well-kept; simple and not overwhelming. Careful thought was given to the amenities provided - met all our needs and then some. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The Nest was very comfortable, close to the lake, close to downtown. The owners had truly thought of every detail. It was pretty, perfectly clean, and stocked with whatever we might need--a delightful place to stay!

My husband and I didn't decide that our family was going to get "away for the weekend" until THURSDAY NIGHT. It was quite a blessing that we quickly stumbled upon this lovely, clean, and AMAZING property as quickly as we did. The check-in process was effortless. The hosts were as warm & as welcoming as their lovely home. They provided so many extra and thoughtful items... from the kitchen & bathrooms to the cozy beds, blankets & comfortable furniture. The layout was perfect for us. The house was so clean and so aesthetically pleasing. We made so many memories we will never forget & absolutely plan on returning!

David takes hosting to a whole new level! The home is cozy and immaculately clean. They supply so many extras that you will feel pampered. Any needs we had were responded to immediately. Book now! This home is worth it!

Great space to cook together, hang out and relax. Five minute walk to waterfront. Ten minutes walk to shops and restaurants.

We absolutely loved our stay at this VRBO! The location was ideal - walkable to both the beach and downtown. The property was super clean and nicely stocked with towels, extra toiletries, trash bags, paper towels, etc. Additionally, the communication from the host was above and beyond. We had an easy booking process, stress free check-in, and a note to ensure that everything was going well during our stay. Thanks for a wonderful stay - we’d definitely book this same property again!

Perfect vacation rental with so many thoughtful accommodations! It was a great location, only a couple blocks walk from South Beach and Kids Corner park! Perfect for families with young kids. Would definitely stay here again! We also loved that all the rooms had ceiling fans and it was so easy to adjust the temperature with their thermostat. A big plus for my husband!

My family of 6 with my parents stayed in this beautiful house for 4 nights, 5 days. We have 4 kids - ages 3, 6, 9 and 11. First of all, the house is just beautiful. I am very picky on how clean the house feels when it's not my own and have a hard time even with hotels. However, when we walked in, everything was spotless and just as the pictures showed. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, pots, baking trays, utensils. We found Olive oil, salt and pepper, along with a whole selection of seasoning for cooking. The fridge was spotless. Freezer had an ice tray made and a pack of ice pops, which was a nice surprise. The coffee maker had a carafe and a k-cup maker. They provided a dark roast coffee and a flavored coffee which were both lovely. We used the carafe for the mornings but in the evenings, it was perfect to make a decaf k-cup to go with our desserts for whoever wanted. They provided us with a booster seat for our 3 year old, and when we asked if they had a step stool for the bathroom sinks, they dropped it off promptly! We were very surprised and so grateful. We didn't need them but in the closets was a pack and play, extra mattress pads for the pack and play, extra fluffy blankets, a mattress rail and what looked like diaper swim covers. They had a bunch of games -- scrabble, battleship, uno, trouble, connect four, a regular deck of cards, Yahtzee, and probably a few I can't remember. There were a few rainy days so games were great to have. The bunk bed worked for all 4 of my kids. 1-2 can fit comfortably on the top, and 3 fit on the bottom. The bedding, carpet, towels, blankets all felt very clean, fresh and fluffy. I really loved that we could walk to the beach in about five minutes, even with the little ones. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the lighthouse. There is a nice playground at the beach right by the lighthouse and it was nice to go there after dinner for a walk and for the kids to play in the playground when it was more empty. The Kids Corner playground is also about a 5 minute walk away and it was REALLY fun. Even my 11 yo really enjoyed it. It's also right by the lake, so we were able to walk over and watch the waves. On our way back, we went to a blueberry farm about 15 min away and it was really fun. They have a playground, a petting zoo, and more. Awesome pies! The host was responsive, gave us everything we needed and we would love to come back for another family get away!

Condo was in a great location, 1 ½ blocks from beach. Overall, it was clean & very well stocked with toiletries, coffee/tea, Brita in refrigerator, basket of snacks, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. (you name it)! Upon arrival, we had a little hiccup with the entry code, but the hosts contacted us almost immediately. All the beds were very comfortable & extra blankets were available. There are no tvs in the bedrooms, which was fine even with 5 teenagers. We would definitely stay here again! Beth, Cameron, & 5 teenagers

The house is very clean, comfortable beds, and plenty of hot water for showers. The host added a few "extras" that we really appreciated. A snack basket and some "in case you forget" items in the bathroom. The use of beach equipment was greatly appreciated!
