Very nice and unique property

The cabin was amazing. It was clean, well-appointed, and quiet. We definitely plan to utilize MHVR in the future.

Nice lil getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The property is well isolated from neighboring lots.

Had a nice time at the property. Some things could be cleaner( food chunks on washed put away dishes, mold in upstairs bathroom, visible cob webs on harder to dust area’s). There were a few things that could have been better. One the mattress in the down stairs bed rooms were clearly old and sunk in the middle. Two the “hot tub” was actually just a whirlpool tub in the master bath. Three the road to the cabin had several unmarked and very harsh speed bumps that could easily damage a non suv car. Finally the bbq was completely useless, the gas lines were totally corded and leaking gas in at least two spots. In spite of these issues we had a good time on the get away. Probably would try a different cabin next time, but no hard feelings about this rental

Beautiful cabin.. we had an amazing time!

We love staying at the Geodome! It's location was secluded from the neighbors, while still being really close to everything in Welches. You really felt like you had solitude in the forest. The beds were really comfortable & the kichen had a good mix of utensils & pans/dishes. We have a small issue with the door lock but the folks at Mt Hood Rentals were very helpful in getting it taken care of quickly! Cedar Creek Hideaway was a great base camp for our Mt Hood adventure!

We liked the secluded location. It was super quiet. It does need a few details like, there was a DVD player but no DVD'S and lots of VHS tapes but no VHS player. And the pool table needs a short pool cue to play. The home needs updating for sure but is a good rustic cabin vibe.

Great place Nice and private

The house was great for a weekend ski trip reunion with friends. We loved the shape of the house and the spacious outdoors area. Few things to note for future guests - the Wi-Fi is extremely slow. Not a bad thing but came in at about 2mbps when we tested (well under 20 as listed). I was surprisingly able to take zoom calls for work and run some editing software but at lower quality. The cleanliness and communication was not as expected for a full rental agency. There were a few stains and sticky spots on the floor. My group was not bothered by it but rather surprised for the cleaning prices.

The internet is garbage. Might as well not have it. The place is marketed to large groups but the internet can barely support 1 person. That was extremely frustrating.

We had some bear issues with the garbage outside. A new bear-protective garbage solution could be great.

No better place to spend with a group of people you're trying to build a bond with. Even you decide to come out here on your own to get away from the madness of it all, this cabin comes decked with a collection of books which draws envy and respect. Firewood is provided to you and a grill is available for use along with pots and pans to spare. Although difficult to find, Mt. hood Vacation Rentals has the foresight to provide you with written directions which are straight forward and lead you directly to the cabin. Highly Recommend!

The house is definitely funky and original so charming but not luxurious. The master is open to the downstairs so can get noisy if you have kids who stay up later.

The acoustics in the house made the weekend that much more interesting. It's close enough to Thrift Way in case you run out of any food or drink necessities and it's a quick drive to some awesome hiking. The house was clean and the master bath alone is worth booking this cabin! My ONLY complaint is that there were some mouse droppings in some of the pots and pans. If you're looking for a trip with friends and family that is somewhat close to Portland yet secluded enough to feel like you get the true "in the woods" experience then this is the place! Looking forward to going back!

It was a bit difficult to find in the dark, but once you get there, it's not a problem getting to and from. We fully enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room. It is a cozy cabin away from other houses. It is nice that they only have one TV. More family time playing the numerous board games and it was so nice to listen to music on the great surround sound system in the house! Super bonus! The only thing that was upsetting was the amount of mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinets and drawers. It seems like they are aware of the rodent problem though. It would have been nice if all of the droppings were cleaned up prior to our arrival. We had to wash any dish/silverware/cup that we used due to the droppings. It was inconvenient and a bit gross, but we didn't let it ruin our stay there. I would recommend this cabin to a friend regardless.

My daughter was delighted to find glow in the dark night sky constellations on the bunk room ceiling. With the light off you really felt as if you were outside looking up into the sky! With a well-equipped kitchen that beckons 2-3 cooks working together, laughter & memories are prolific. The beautiful log table & benches is the perfect place for family meals, board games & time together! The pool table is great for socializing & demonstrating ones lack of skills ... or developing talent as my grandsons so quickly demonstrated. The beautiful surround deck is perfect for this locale as this cabin is secluded. With streams & waterfalls on both sides, the woods beg to be explored. Definitely our favorite family get-away!

The wood stove made the stay quite cozy, even during a rainy, cool fall day. The hideaway was a scenic, unique, fun place to stay. Every time we pulled up to the place I would stop and stare at how breathtaking the architecture was, especially nestled in the stunning scenery. The interior is actually pretty normal and fit our needs well. Comfy bedrooms, standard bathrooms, large dining room table, and an older kitchen we didn't use. The road /driveway was steep, unpaved, and had a few deep holes, so factor that into your decision of what car to drive or whether to stay here. Overall a great stay.

There is a short trail to an amazing waterfall just off the last curve of the driveway - we walked our dogs there everyday and just stared in awe. The driveway is long and steep, and it snowed close to 10 inches while we were there. But our Toyota Tundra with winter tires made it up and down with no problem (even without chains). Highly recommend a stay!!

The kitchen is a little dated but everything works and it is very functional. It is just a really cute cabin. There are lots of dishes, glasses, pots, pans. The write up says parking for two cars but there is space for about five. The driveway is long and steep as advertised. My friend with a prius had to drive up it backwards to keep traction, but my AWD did it without a problem.

We Also joyed the BBQ on the outside - we're from Hawaii you don't BBQ in the snow in Hawaii - we did ??!
