This cottage was very clean and so beautifully appointed and decorated in a very appropriate beach and pony theme. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basic necessities plus more to make for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were welcoming with comfortable beds and plenty of closet and drawer space. The bathrooms, too, were very clean and comfortable. The weather allowed us to enjoy the screened in back porch and the backyard furniture as well as a morning cup of coffee on the front porch. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. This rental was a wonderful find and we would definitely return if/when we visit Chincoteague again!

Josie’s was very clean and beautifully appointed with a very appropriate beach and pony theme! It worked out well for 3 adults and 2 dogs. There were several neighborhood cats that kept the dogs entertained along with an occasional deer and squirrel! Next time I would reserve directly through Harbor Rentals and save a little $$!

The house has a great floor plan with and was very well appointed, everything we needed to prepare our own meals. Plenty of towels for the house and the beach. Great location right downtown, we could ride our bikes to stores, restaurants or the National wildlife area. There was a very nice screened in porch in the back with a table and chairs so you can eat there if you like. We loved our stay here.

Very neat and clean and lovely decor! Centrally located to everything so that we could go back and forth. Found an additional road to walk the dogs today. Quiet neighborhood and we were able to take advantage of many of the activities even though it is still early in the season.

The house was fine, clean and well cared for, but the location was pretty bad if you have a dog to walk. We had to drive to a trail twice a day because there was no place to walk her near or around this house.

Absolutely loved Josie's Getaway! From the location on a quiet street to the screened in porch with a swing. We felt right at home and had everything we needed. Appreciated that we could bring our dog along - she loved the porch too. Would definitely stay here again!!

The bed in the master was advertised as a queen but I’m pretty sure it was a full.. the bed was also super uncomfortable, we actually checked out a day early because we didn’t want to stay in the bed another night.

The home was well maintained with lots of amenities. The swing on the screened porch and the outdoor fire pit were a huge factor in our decision to pick Josie’s. The only issues we had were some dog hair in the main bedroom and living area, (but it’s a pet friendly rental, so we understand that) and couches were very comfy, but feathers from the throw pillows kept getting everywhere. The bathrooms were spotless, and very roomy. The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of room to cook. The home is beautifully decorated and we loved the seasonal touches. All the beautiful pony pictures and photo albums were a delight. We loved looking at them! This is our favorite rental on the island now. We definitely want to come back and stay at Josie’s!
