Bei diesem Studio-Appartment handelt es sich um eine Ferienwohnung mit Küche/Essbereich, Schlafzimmer und Bad/WC/Dusche. Alles ist außerordentlich großzügig und sauber. Der Vermieter war bei unserer Ankunft vor Ort und hatte 1 Flasche Wein, 2 Flaschen Bier, Süßigkeiten und einen gefüllten Obstkorb bereitgestellt. Ein außerordentlich freundlicher und netter Vermieter! Er betonte, dass er die Vermietung nur als Hobby betreibe, und das glaubte man ihm aufs Wort. Parkplätze - ich wähle bewusst den Plural - gab es ausreichend und völlig unkompliziert vor und neben dem Haus. Das Haus (mit insgesamt drei Wohnungen) liegt direkt am Stadtrand und am Bahnhof. Trotzdem ist es ruhig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es auf der anderen Straßenseite gegenüber, z.B. in einem Lebensmittelladen, der bis 21 Uhr - auch samstags - offen hat. Züge und Busse fahren in kurzen Abständen nach Braunschweig. Aber auch der Besuch des Ortes Wolfenbüttel ist außerordentlich lohnend und von der Ferienwohnung aus, z.B. durch ausgedehnte Grünanlagen entlang der Oker, direkt erreichbar. Der Ort mit seinen unzähligen schmucken Fachwerkhäusern ist allemal einen Besuch wert! Meine Frau und ich haben selten eine so perfekte Unterkunft angetroffen, möchten sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werden sie sicher auch selbst noch einmal nutzen, zumal das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis optimal ist.

The location close to the train station couldn’t be better! It’s a fairly small town, so walking from there to just about any activity in town is easy. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. I’m sure I saved a lot of money cooking for myself! And the reception was wonderful! They meet you directly at the property with a big smile and a lot of information about the town.

The accommodation had pretty gardens and was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was also well equipped, with plenty of towels although we couldn't see anywhere to hang them. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk into the centre of town so you can leave the car and not worry about finding somewhere to park.

There's a bit of traffic noise at night but it wasn't too bad. Unfortunately the supermarket in the shopping centre over the road has closed but it was no problem to drive to another. The parking seems to be shared with the property next door, which can make things congested at times, but no difficulty.

I really liked the thoughtfulness of leaving fruit to eat. In front of the accommodation there is a very large edeka, which is very convenient for buying what you need to cook (and the equipment is there for you to do so).

I found that the accommodation was not very well soundproofed and you could hear a lot of people around.
