This was our second stay at this location and it did not disappoint. The owner was so easy to deal with and very accommodating. The room was lovely and stocked with everything you could need and more. Bottled water, coffee pods, yogurt, juice, snack bars, trail mix and cereal. More than you’d get at any hotel but with much better accommodations. Off-street parking is a plus! I would give them more than 5 stars if that was possible. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️

Our stay was enjoyable. Walking distance to the lower town to visit all of the historical district, restaurants and shops. Very close to The Barn for nightlife. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. I highly recommend the stay here.

We booked this stay hoping to be able to walk wherever we needed to go and this location didn’t disappoint. Great location, very clean, off street parking, friendly host. We walked all over and never needed a car. The room was as described and exceeded our expectations. There was even a Keurig in the room with coffee pods, sugar and creamer. The host even provided cereal, milk, snack bars and yogurt. The mini fridge even had ice provided for us. No detail was left undone. Would def recommend and stay here again if in town. Thank you for a great stay.

The room was exactly as described- clean and comfortable with a great breakfast nook stocked with coffee, juice, and yogurt. Less than half a mile to the beginning of the Maryland Heights trailhead and close to places to eat (the Rabbit Hole is a great place to end your day and one of the only places open after 8pm). I will definitely stay here again!

What a fantastic stay in the heart of Harpers Ferry The property was fantastic, and the host extremely helpful. We very much enjoyed being able to come home to a clean beautiful room with all the amenities we needed after spending the day, hiking or on the river the added bonus of the EV charger really sealed the deal for us. I would highly recommend staying here again if you're going to Harpers Ferry, this is the place to go.

Our stay was short but lovely. Fridge was stocked with goodies for breakfast and plenty of water. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio with a glass of wine. Lastly the location is ideal!

This was by far the best rental experience I have ever had. Our room was immaculately clean and the decor was adorable. The location of this property was a short walk to downtown Harpers Ferry(be warned the walk back to the rental is up a steep hill, but by all means still very walkable). The check-in process was flawless and the room came will all the required amenities. We would happily stay here again and plan to do so in the future!

We loved our stay! The space was comfortable and convenient to the town and activities yet away from the busy areas when we wanted to enjoy our own space. The details in the space were so thoughtfully done. We’d come back and stay here again! Loved Harpers Ferry, loved the hiking, food and we drove to the brewery one evening to enjoy the views. Definitely suggest this place for couples!

We chose the Goldfinch suite as a home base as we explored Harpers Ferry and the surrounding area for a few days. The property is easy to get to with great access to the highway. It’s just up the hill from town and walkable. Just down the hill right into the center of town. Off street parking is at a premium and an added bonus.
The room was comfortable and well equipped. Simple but elegant decor. The light snacks and breakfast items are just perfect for grabbing something quick and getting on with your day. Everything went smooth with check in and all the information we needed was sent in perfect order.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was very cute and it was easy walking distance to town. The fridge in the room was good since we had brought items with us for our river trip.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The room is so cute and very thoughtfully decorated. It was fun finding all the goldfinch details! Also the snacks and coffee were great! Even the bathroom was lovely. The location is just a short walk from downtown but there are also some restaurants nearby. The hosts were friendly upon arrival and made us feel like if we needed anything it would be provided. Would stay again!

Happy at Harper's
We had a great one-night stay at the Harper's Ferry Guest House. The Goldfinch Suite is roomy and cozy, with breakfast snacks and coffee at the ready. The property is just a short walk to the historic district and we were able to park and walk before our check-in. Be sure to go a few blocks in the opposite direction to grab a pastry or two at the Bolivar Bread Bakery.

A Harper's Ferry Gem
The Goldfinch Suite was exactly as described. Cozy and inviting, our hosts made us feel very welcome. The room was tastefully decorated. The bed was comfy and made with quality linens. Our coffee bar was stocked with snacks and in the fridge we found yogurt, juice and milk. The location is just up the hill from the center of historic Harper's Ferry. Had a lovely two day visit and who definitely visit again.

Beautiful place to stay
I highly recommend this guest house. My husband and I booked the Goldfinch Suite for a weekend visit to Harpers Ferry. It has private parking and private entrance for guests. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean, quiet and spacious. The amenities (snacks, breakfast items, beverages and coffee) were a nice touch too. Overall a wonderful weekend!
