This home was perfect for our family vacation in August. We came as a family of four but this home could easily accommodate 8. All three bedrooms are on the first level with the dining and living areas on the second floor. The beds were all very comfortable with plenty of comfortable pillows as well. The home was clean and cozy. The hot tub is was awesome! It had great working jets and color changing lights. The hot tub also had a fountain feature that allowed the color changing lights to shine through. The couches and chairs were nice and cozy as well. The home did not have a/c but there were fans in every room and the temps dipped enough at night to cool the home for the majority of the day. The pool table and dart board provided a lot of night time entertainment. The only suggestion would be to update the pots and pans. The only ones we found had all the non-stick life worn off which made cooking fried eggs and pancakes a bit annoying. Seriously a perfect home. I am recovering from a spinal surgery and was concerned that the beds would not be comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find all three rooms had comfortable beds, even the kids’ bunk beds. The master shower was nice with multiple functions including a rain shower. We will return to this home next year!

The Beaver Lodge is located in a prime location near King’s Beach. The lake can be seen through the trees from the balcony. It is about a 20 minute walk down to the beach or a very short drive. Incline Village is also close by and we drove there for shopping and dining. The cabin was comfortable for 5 of us and our dog. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed for us to make a few meals. The pool table, dart board, and jacuzzi provided fun entertainment at night. I highly recommend this cabin!

Checked in to find the hot tub inoperable, which was the primary feature we wanted. 800 vacasa # is a joke. Had to wait for a manager to call me back. Mgmt states that they maintain the hot tub by a local company between every reservation. Clearly not the case. Then was told they had to order a part to fix. I could understand if something broke while we were using it but they never even checked. Pellet stove was also not working correctly. Spent most of my vacation on the phone trying to fix their problems. Was refunded a paltry sum for the inconvenience. I'd avoid renting any units managed by this company.

The house is beautiful and well laid out, the hot tub was in great condition and the entire premises were clean. A few things: 1) There were no dish towels, sponges or paper towels to be found. This made cleaning very challenging. 2) The dishwasher door appears to be broken - you can't have the washer open without providing support underneath the actual door. And, the washer itself is not very good. 3) We didn't have nearly enough towels, although management was great about responding with more when we reached out. That said, there should be several towels on hand since you have guests entering the hot tub and chlorine AND using the showers. 4) There's a slight odor of wet dog in the house. It didn't disturb us but it was noticeable. 5) There was one TV in the living room with about 6 different remotes. It was wholly unclear how to get the media console to work, even with the description in the welcome manual. 6) The welcome manual stated that the owners provided complimentary wine for guests. This was not the case. 7) There were no laundry detergent pods - they should be available just like the dishwasher pods. 8) It would be great to have a place to hang towels/robes next to the hot tub, as well a place to put wet ski equipment at the front door so the floors and walls aren't ruined.

The house has a perfect set up with the bedrooms on the bottom floor and the kitchen, pool table, living room, deck and hot tub upstairs. Just perfect for everyone to be together the whole trip.
