Location was perfect for our needs, close to the University, 15 min or so walk to the city center and quiet (except on Saturday when there was some party/concert somewhere in the open). It is a nice place if you are staying for a day or 2, but we were staying for 2 weeks with a baby, so not very suitable. Bed was proper size (super king) for two people (and a baby) which is very hard to find in UK, and comfortable.

It is a room with small kitchenette, studio is a stretch. Kitchenette has only very basic things, could be improved with some cabinets on the wall and more cups, pots etc. Bathroom was ok, but glass shelf above sink looked like it's going to fall very soon, sink was clogged when we arrived, but they sent someone to fix it the next day. Curtain rail is about to fall down and they didn't repair that while we were there even though they asked, even called me when repair person could come, but he never showed up. Apartment was cleaned, but not very well and carpet had some stains. Radiator is rusty and has left some marks on clothes we put on to dry (it was the only available space and in front of the window). Window is very difficult to open and close, and people from Cabot tower and park can see inside. There is NO WARDROBE so we had to keep clothes in suitcases for 2 weeks which is very inconvenient. No real table or desk, just a small round one (which we did see on photos, but I guess you don't think you'll need until you do). Apartment was not the same as on photos when booking (I guess they put the same one, a bit bigger and nicer next to all studio bookings). There is also no washing machine even though when you look at booking entry it looks like they have it (you need to read the small descriptions next to exact room to find out if there is one or not). Communication with host is usually quick but when I asked for receipt with my company info added that I needed, I got the impression that the person I spoke to either doesn't understand English very well or never saw a receipt...

sehr hellhörig, ein Baby im Nachbarzimmer schrie 24/7, was sehr unangenehm war. Lautes Türenklappern, keine Leerung des Mülleimers, ich musste mich selbständig um Toilettpapier kümmern. Nur Kommunikation über WhatsApp, aber auch sehr verzögert. Bei Ankunft kein WLAN

Location, it was clean

It had no overhead light, no shower curtain/divider so water went everywhere in bathroom. Curtain situation let loads of light in. Very hot, plug sockets in weird places and way too many cushions and bedding

It was very dirty, the seat was falling off of the toilet. I also didn’t get the same room as shown in the picture I had selected on booking.com. There was no security latch on the door to my room and as a solo traveller I felt unsafe. I actually stayed at my friends Airbnb for the duration of my stay because of this. I contacted the Airbnb before my stay because they requested a deposit for damages beforehand, they didn’t get back to me. The most disappointing part is when I paid an £100 deposit which was assured to be reimbursed after 7 days and am yet to receive that deposit.

when i book an apartment specifically for a terrace/outside access, i am reasonable to expect that it actually exists once i get there

Fabricating facilities that weren't in place and specifically highlighting that past guests enjoyed the aforementioned non existent facilities in order to get bookings then going silent with communication after flagging this with the host.

Quite central location and nice area, very clean, modern and very well equipped accommodation. Definitely recommended

I'd loved to have 1 or 2 hours later checkout without paying 15£ extra.

Great quiet, central location. Lots of nice places to walk to close by. Room was very well equipped for a short to mid term stay. Park space across the road and up the hill. Lovely look out close by. Beautiful old buildings. Cafe's, Restaurants and art galleries close. Good coffee, plenty of vegetarian / vegan eateries.

Room is really nice but soundproofing is on -10 level. You can hear everything from next door neighbour.

The location is near the center so it is convenient for me to walk without taking any transportation.

If there is someone on the upper floor, it is really easy to hear their footsteps. The flooring might be a bit old.

Good communication prior to our arrival. Good location for my business trip really close to the office, really to close to the park.

When we arrived at the property, it hadn't been cleaned properly. It was really dusty, especially behind the bed, the kind of dust that sits there for months. There was hairs, a used elastic band and dead flyes and the toilet wasn't not clean properly. We have communicate this immediately, and they told us that a cleaner would have been there next morning asap, which didn't happen. The cleaner was there at 6pm the following the day and didn't clean the property at all, only the dead fly and the elastic band were removed. Although we appriciate the 15% refund, we felt that they made fun of us as a cleaned property is just a basic requirement and we had to wait until 6pm of the day before of our check out for a cleaning service which didn't happen. I wouldn't definitely not book there again for my next business trip.

Great location, fine price compared to the other ones.

The smallest room (no. 6) that I've ever been in. It's like a prison. VERY loud, because it is located right in the middle of the stairs. Even the guy snoring in the room above mine was shaking with walls. Horrible.

It was so unclean, the whole room was completely damp and absolutely stunck. The damp and the smell made my stay very unpleasant

Lovely property, great location, rooms we were well equipt and high spec.

The walls were very thin, which made using the 'shared private toilet' a bit uncomfortable. Additional email with a pre-auth check was a bit odd for a short break. Their were a couple of minor things broken but you felt you needed to report these as the company had taken a deposit in addition to the room fees.

It’s in a great location, 5 minute walk away from park street and travel links. I loved the wine cellar, cute functional space with my own kettle, toaster and microwave.

Everything! So cozy and fashionable. Great natural lighting and very clean bathroom.

Couple of stains on the bed mattress and sheet but nothing major. We still enjoyed very much our stay and we will definitely be back.
