The room was beautiful, comfy, inviting and completely the best quality we have seen at Emerald Isle. Jonathan and Carolyn have created the most luxurious oasis. I would recommend this beautiful stay to anyone who is looking for a piece of paradise on the beach. We have nothing but wonderful memories from our stay.

We had big expectations after reading all of the great reviews from previous guests and somehow Carolyn still managed to exceed them. As soon as we opened the door to the Flip Flop Suite we were blown away. The attention to every little detail was incredible Everything was picture perfect, clean and decor was amazing. Quiet and very much relaxing. We had delicious cookies awaiting us and departing lemon pound cake!! We can't thank the hosts enough for their beautiful home and hospitality that they have put a lot of thought and love into!

Walked into our room and it was like a spa. Soft music of waves. Pretty decor encouraging relaxation. Two possible negatives: deck chair lounges were pretty but not comfy for long stay sitting and inside stairs after stairs to deck were alot...but then again, great exercise! Hosts were very nice and room had everything you could think of including home made baked goods twice during our week's stay. Close to everything we needed, walking trail, grocery, restaurants, gas and beaches. We liked the Western access beach with outside showers and restrooms and a plus of lifeguards. Host also offered beach chairs, beach bag, towels, use of bikes, golf cart and kayak. We had an amazing week!

From the moment we booked to the moment we left Carolyn and Jonathan were exceptional hosts. My husband said the look on my face said it all-magical!! Carolyn and Jonathan have thought of every detail to make the stay inviting, relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed great dinners on the island, long walks on the beach and the quiet of the last few days of summer.

Carolyn's place was wonderful. We visited for our 24th anniversary and it was the perfect place for a getaway. The suite was beautiful and had everything anyone could possibly need. Carolyn had decorated and made it so special for our anniversary. The baked goods were delicious and so thoughtful. If you are visiting the area stay at the suite escape. You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I can to this lovely suite after dropping our daughter off at college. We came with a small packed suitcase and everything else we needed was there! It was the perfect stress free environment for two! I highly recommend!!

The moment we walked into our suite at Suite Escape was absolutely perfect! We were greeted with fresh baked cookies, fully stocked coffee bar with snacks, & a wonderful candle lit dining tray with rose petals & ice chilled wine. My husband & I needed a romantic getaway that was intimate, cozy, & away from all of the hustle & bustle of everyday life/people-and that was exactly what we got!! The hosts were amazing! They were very responsive, checked in on us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed, & helped us plan certain places to visit or dine at. We truly valued our time at Suite Escape & we plan on returning next year for another needed “escape!”

Beautiful place, wonderfully decorated, everything you need for a perfect get away. The hosts are great, fresh baked goodies 😋😋. Hosts had birthday cake and banner upon arrival!! Everything was perfect!

Carolyn and Jonathan are attentive hosts without being invasive. We enjoyed the beautiful space they have created. We enjoyed riding the bicycles out to The Point and taking hikes in the woods close by. We also enjoyed hanging out on the porch and seeing the little green frogs that liked to find shelter under the shells. :) And of course, the beach was beautiful revitalizing.

The place and guest were absolutely amazing.. The owners were very accommodating and done all they could to make the satay as awesome as it would. The host are great people.

Great communication with host. Charming decor. When you walked in you felt immediately relaxed. Close to the beach and eating. Had fun exploring the area. Can’t wait to schedule another visit.

This place has it all! Location near the beach in a quiet culdesac, amenities galore, warm welcome and hospitality throughout stay, a place to truly unwind, unplug and relax. We definitely plan to visit again!

Great place to stay very nice owners will go back

This is our fourth stay at the “Suites” of Emerald Isle. This time we stayed in the Suite Escape, and like the other suites, this one lacked nothing. We arrived only to find fresh fruit, cheese, wine and homemade cookies waiting for us 😀. The suite was well stocked with coffee, drinks, snacks and every utensil and dish needed to dine in. We love this spot because the beach, store, restaurant and bar are a short walk away. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive. You will be more than pleased staying here, until it’s time to leave. We will be back very soon!! 🤗

We would give this stay 10 stars if we could. We have traveled the world together the last 40 years and stayed in some elegant vacation spots and we can state honestly that "Suite Escape" was the best! Our hosts (and property owners) Carolyn and Jonathan set the standard for hospitality. The property was absolutely spotless and their attention to detail was breathtaking. They manage three suites at the same location- quiet, spotless, affordable, attentive, friendly, responsive, kind, generous, and family oriented. As soon as you arrive, you feel like a part of their family. The room was lit with candles, ocean-wave music, ice cream and fresh baked cookies. The suite had everything you needed to include a snack and coffee bar. You could literally just show up with a pair of swimming shorts and they provide everything else. The price is far less than the services and hospitality rendered. This is a MUST stay if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, and stress-free stay at the beach. Highly highly recommended.

OMG…..what a WONDERFUL experience we had! Carolyn TRULY thought of every little detail to make our stay amazing!! Our stay here was fabulous. The owners were excellent in attending to our needs. They made our stay easy with recommendations of things to do and having the best accommodations! Loved our trip!

We absolutely LOVED this little place! My husband and I spent the weekend there for our 14th anniversary. We walked in and immediately felt pampered! They had ocean music playing on the TV, battery run candles all over the room, they had homemade cookies for us with cake and ice cream in the fridge for our anniversary! Also, I would like to say, this is literally the cleanest place I have ever stayed in! I usually feel very uneasy about if the sheets are clean etc. but I did not see one speck of dust in this whole place! They have thought of every little detail and have everything labeled. The hosts were amazing to work with and very responsive to messages. Sunday morning we slept in a bit, woke up and shortly after, got a message from the host that we had some freshly baked apple cinnamon streusel cake waiting for us on our patio! They were in little heart shapes, and so delicious! It totally hit the spot for our lazy Sunday morning! They have a shared golf cart that we enjoyed several times to go down to the beach or just drive around the small neighborhoods. We also enjoyed using their bicycles one evening as we rode around in the rain and had a blast. It was a great time for my husband and I to connect and relax! The whole suite gives off a “spa vibe”. Loved it, and we will definitely be back!

I cannot put into words to properly explain how incredibly special this location was for my husband and I! The owners thought of literally everything to make our kid free week perfect. This is not just a place to stay. Right at the door we felt like we were given an experience and a huge hug! The room was spotless and filled with all the comforts of home to include treats from the owners. We were conveniently located to restaurants and shopping and were able to take day trips to Beaufort, Morehead city and Atlantic Beach. If you are looking for a peaceful get away under the management of people who are genuinely invested to serve and support their guests, this is the place for you! We will be back! Thank you so much for providing us with such special memories in Emerald Isle. We will cherish it more than you will ever know:)

Charming, cozy, relaxing are just a first 3 words of many that come to mind. They thought of everything when designing this suite. From the fresh baked cookies to I’m certain they even pulled a few favors for amazing weather. The owners truly want every guest to have an amazing experience and they delivered in every way. If you are considering a short weekend…. Book a week you will not want to leave once you get there.
