DO NOT STAY HERE! After traveling for 12 hours, we arrived in the evening to a dirty unit. The bathroom floor was disgusting (see photo) and the bed sheets had human hair (not ours) on them. In addition, this tiny unit is towards the end of a not-great neighborhood, set far back from the street and with only a front door lock as a security feature. The bedroom has a window just behind the bed with no appropriate shades so that anyone walking outside may look into the room. Safety is definitely an issue – and we did not feel safe staying there. Not every place makes a suitable vacation rental, and this certainly is one of them. The pictures on the website are NOT accurate. We contacted Booking.com and Vacasa, the managing company, who (1) offered to send a cleaner over within a couple hours (this would have made for a very uncomfortable, late night and would not have solved the safety issues); (2) offered us a “comparable” unit quite far away deep in the middle of literally nowhere, or (3) offered us two other nearby units at double the cost of what we paid (thanks for trying to up-sell us in a bad situation that YOU caused Vacasa!). We are reasonable people and tried to work with them, but none of those options were viable. As Vacasa could not come up with an amenable solution and it was late, we asked for a refund and booked a cabin at a nearby hotel (for a cheaper price, clean cabin and much safer situation). Days later, we were told our refund request was denied!!! Unbelievable! This is how long-time customers are treated?

Many things: the quiet neighborhood, the cleanliness of the property, the fully functional kitchen, the life-saving washer and dryer, the perfectly comfortable bathroom/shower, and the helpful and informative welcome book.

The bed was too soft for our liking, but that's a completely personal preference.

Cabin was fine. Small, well-appointed and clean.

Landscape was overgrown and looked shabby. Wasn't what was reflected in the photos. Deck and chairs were very weathered and looked unsafe. Two holes in the deck should be repaired, possible trip hazard. Recommend some kind of visual barrier between the deck area and the neighbors.

Very clean, comfortable, plenty of private parking, quiet. Fully rigged kichen, great internet. Location suited my needs.

If you're planning to cross the bridge often, note, it is $2 each time. Might add up.

this place is awful and I recommend you do not stay. it reeks of cigarettes and other smells. it is shabby, with almost zero touches to make it cozy. the tiny “ yard” is overgrown with weeds. there is no curtain on a window that is right up in the neighbors yard. the lock broke while we were there and we could not get on for hours. do not stay. (to their credit, the management company returned our money. the manager was friendly and apologetic, letting us know that she is aware how bad the place is.

I rented this for one of our crew working in White Salmon for the week. He said it was very easy to check in/out and a great little cottage!
