The location is centre of town so parking was the only issue but walking distance to everywhere. The welcome was fabulous - so friendly and positive. She showed us to the 2 rooms we'd booked and kept asking if we were happy or could she help. They were large, high ceiling rooms 1 with a balcony albeit over the road I still enjoyed it. The breakfast was very tasty and we would heartily recommend this hotel.

Chantal Marie was most accommodating.....we only booked first night and she had no problem with us stayi extra night. Apartment was very quaint and had full kitchen if you were to stay longer. Location was perfect close to everything Chantal prepared wonderful french breakfasts .....we also had 2 nights dinner which we both enjoyed (paid extra...but worth every euro) ....conversation with her and her son David were thought provoking and went well with the red wine :) Lens has a marvellous new museum called the louvre-lens ....we walked to it from our apt. Good place to get shuttle to Vimy!

The stairs are a challenge narrow and steep for taking suitcases up and down I forgot that the 2nd floor is really the third floor🙃 and there is an extra set of stairs in the 2 level apt which was not good for older people navigating up the stairs to relieve themselves in the night! Solved problem by using upstairs bedroom......bingo ...slept well:)

Chantel was a delightful host. The room was fine but the bath/shower arrangement was very strange.
