What an absolute delight Yellowbird, Harbour Island and everything this precious home as to offer! Kava was a true gem and like a fairy picking up after us, surprising us with clean laundry, and making sure we were completely tended to. Our family of 6 fit perfectly (children ages 1-9) and we had tons of room to spare. The pool was a necessary amenity and we enjoyed it daily. There is no question that we will be back and recommend to everyone we know! Thank you Yellowbird for priceless memories and inviting us into your beautiful home!

We all really enjoyed yellow bird, the location is amazing and it was so nice to have a pool to come back to. It’s a very welcoming, comfortable and well decorated property.

Yellowbird helped create a very special family holiday filled with incredible memories. The property was exactly as advertised and more. Spacious with so many little extras. The main house was perfect for entertaining - relaxed and well appointed. The master bedroom was lovely and the upstairs deck overlooking the pool was a relaxing “secret spot”. The cottage has three well appointed bedrooms each with its own ensuite. The pool and cabana area were absolutely perfect for family get togethers. Kava was 10/10 and helped make our family getaway extra special. She arranged a chef one evening for a birthday celebration and made sure our rented playpen was delivered and our golf carts were picked up. Attention to detail beyond. When a piece of jewelry was left behind she even made sure it was delivered to the airport for us before we flew out. Thank you Kava! The location of yellowbird is perfect - a few steps from the waterfront and right in the heart of Dunmore town. Abilgaile, the property manager answered all of our questions in advance of our arrival and provided nice detail on restaurants and island highlights. We recommend Majors for golf cart rentals, TeeJays for umbrella and chair rentals and oh yes, don’t forget the bakery twenty feet from the front door of yellowbird every morning for coffee and treats galore. The general store is two doors down and filled with absolutely everything. So many lovely restaurants to mention! Yellowbird 10/10.

May have found my forever house for Harbour island. Fabulous stay. Beautiful property and friendly people. So sad to leave.

The Yellowbird is everything we could have asked for in a rental home for our size family (6 adults, 2 small children). This is our second timing staying at this property and have been equally impressed with both stays. The location is perfect! We look forward to returning to the Yellowbird in the future.

Such a cute and charming home in the center of Dunmore Town leaving everything within walking distance. Would highly recommend for large families or traveling with friends.

Yellowbird met our needs and was very close to the government dock, grocery store and restaurants. Others in our group stayed closer to the beach and that is probably what we will do if we go back to Harbour Island. We had one snafu with the air conditioning unit in the main house upstairs queen room going out on us late Saturday night. It was resolved about 36 hrs later after someone came and cleaned the filter. If you have people in your group who are handicapped or tall, this probably isn’t the house for you because the upstairs (at least in the main house) has slanted ceilings and lots of tight spaces. The pool was great. There are roosters next door that are noisy early in the morning but that is the case around most of the island from what we could tell. Overall, it was a fine experience but if I were to go back I would probably look to be closer to the beach and in a newer property.

We chose this house due to the number of bedrooms for our party, as well as amazing outdoor living/pool. We traveled with multiple children and this property was ideal to break up beach and pool. It is walking distance to grocery and shops, short golf cart ride to beach. We only needed communication with property manager for check in/check out logistics. 10/10 would stay here again!

We had a ball at Yellowboird. It was so close to everything, and was a great fit for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Harbour Island.

Enjoyed our stay so much! Excellent communication - so low key - took care of whatever we needed - right in the heart of downtown but easy access to the public beach with Ms V’s Beach Service was A+ Highly recommend!

There were six of us and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Location is truly perfect. Many living areas to spread out. Rooms all comfortable. Will stay again!!

The house was great home away from home for us. If anything made our stay even more extra extra special it was our house keeper and angel Kava Mackey. She was there for us through small hiccups and feeling lost in the big new house and neighborhood in the middle of my son's wedding and family from all over! The house for so much fun for the family and Kava was an awesome support through our stay. Thank you darlings for a super time!

Check-in was so easy, and the property itself is perfect for a family getaway. We loved having the pool because our little girl could go to the ocean and then come back to the pool and it made it so easy to have an activity for her there. The house had some fun games to play and a kitchen to make dinner. The house was convenient to the ocean, restaurants in town and shops. You could walk to the grocery, lunch, and breakfast. The golf cart also made it super easy to get to dinner spots and the beach. Loved everything about this magical stay!

Yellowbird is in a wonderful location--close to the Pink Sands beach, restaurants and shops. The outdoor dining area, pool and bar are lovely. The house has plenty of space but the furnishings and appliances are a bit tired. We experienced a couple instances of miscommunication; however, we felt as though they did their best to remedy the issues to the best of their ability. Overall, we enjoyed Harbor Island.

Perfect location for our group to relax after our wedding in Eleuthera. Walking distance to lots of bars/shops/restaurants. Great privacy for all the couples staying. Would highly recommend.

The Yellow Bird was good to us! We loved the pool and all the out door dining space. We loved being so close to everything. We would love to come back and stay again soon!! Communicating with the host was very easy.

This house is a super cute 5 bedroom property with a pool. We had a total of 3 couples and a single friend that stayed with us. There is a main house with 2 bedrooms and a detached cottage with 3 bedrooms. There was plenty of room to spread out and have our own space. The pool was great and was kept clean everyday. The housekeeper Kava was amazing. She was always willing to help around the house and give us recommendations on places to go. She also gave us a recommendation on a private chef to use. The chef she recommended was really good and we appreciated having someone cook for us while on vacation. The house is in a very good location- walkable to many restaurants and right near the water taxi station. We always felt safe in this rental and this area. We did have some minor issues with the toilet and some bees but each issue was handled well (and quickly) by Kava! My one complaint was that we were never able to figure out how to use the TV but we were so busy we would have rarely used it anyway. We would love to come again with our friends!!

Met all my expectations

Loved staying in town in this beautiful historic home. The house is truly located in the perfect location, easily accessible to shops, restaurants and beach. The separate cottage is ideal for teenagers and/or another family. House is beautifully decorated and we loved the outdoor bar/pool area.

The living area was just like the pictures. Nicely decorated and updated. The was nicely stocked with cooking items. The fridge stopped working half-way into the week. The bedrooms and baths need to be redone. The bathrooms are very tired. The linens (especially the towels) need to be replaced. The backhouse deck is in desperate need of repair. We love Harbour Island and have been visiting for 12 years. THe location of the house is great. The outdoor seating area is great but the bar area needs to be updated. The sink did not drain and paint and counters need some work.

YellowBird is such a great location. Literally 2 min from beach by golf cart and 5 min walk to anything in town. Perfect set up for 2 families. Will be back!

Yellowbird is a lovely property, with a beautiful pool, lots of places to sit and relax and find a quiet corner to read. The colors are so bright and cheerful and the caretaker is a joy. We enjoyed our week very much. Thank you for having us!
