Hotel is inside a building. Well maintained lobby sections and looks clean and well kept. Rooms are very nice and have a good view.

The place were in a nice area. When we arrives to the hotel they did not have our room ready so they had to put us in a double bed until king bed was available the next day. They gave us a credit and that was wonderful. But when I check the charges they charged me for parking when I did not drive when I was visiting Chicago. I had to call and get that straight. So be careful and make sure you check your credit card statement or debit card whatever you use for incidental.

The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. My only complaint was the cost of a sub par breakfast. $30 for a coffee, powdered eggs and a couple of pieces of sausage.

The view was fantastic, the bed was comfortable, the TV was large but one could only channel surf because the guide was not working. Also, no one answers the telephone at night after midnight. There is no customer service. The food was delicious. The pool was very inviting but I didn't have the opportunity to experience it. The location is great and there is a CVS right down the street if you need incidentals or snacks. Parking is extra and very expensive. I would definitely recommend and will stay there again when I visit Chicago.

A bit nervous about driving in Chicago - it was straightforward and the parking arrangement simple. In the middle of the DNC there was an air of excitement about the place - great food live music and a great city!

Great location and stunning views. Definitely worth booking he King Suite with City Views! They need more staff/help. Many times we had to find people to help us with bags, questions, etc. They informed us that there is no concierge although there is an entire front desk for a concierge that sometimes hadsomeone and sometimes didn't. Very weird for a hotel of this caliber and in this location . The two different lobbies is also annoying/confusing. Be prepared to walk a mile to get to your room. Overall, I would stay again simply because the price was very much so worth the trouble, the extra walking, and the views!

The air conditioning was not working in the conference room and it got up to 85 degrees. Since the air was so humid it was condensing on the tile floor in the lobby so the floor was very slippery and unsafe. It wrecked the event.
They ran out of food for lunch.

the overall stay was really nice, however we feel as if we were scammed. upon arrival we were told that our parking fee would be waived, as long as we brought the ticket to validate parking. upon check out, we found that our parking was in fact, not waived, and we were left with a $118 charge on the invoice. on top of this, i was told that the $200 deposit that i had to give the hotel upon arrival would be given back to me in full. I kept an eye on the pending charge on my credit card, and once it was done pending, it turned out that only got $60 back. I have tried contacting the hotel multiple times about this issue and have left call back info and have not heard back. i don’t know if they just don’t want to deal with my concerns or what? overall, it’s a nice place to stay and the view was incredible, but do not stay here if you expect honest service. hopefully these people will call me back.

The woman at front desk whose name is something like Amlfin, thin beatiful girl was so nice. However the man working on 18 August morning time is rude. His behavior both to me and his colleagues was rude.

Check in was a 3 my room wasn’t not ready until after 5, paid for skyline views and got moved to a different room, drains were clogged and was not offered anything for the inconvenience, wasted time this trip

Staff at this property was amazing! All were friendly and helpful and accommodating. Front desk held our bags until check-in and arranged for a checkout time that worked with our departure schedule, the barista made genuine conversation while making my drink each morning, and the housekeeping even gladly showed my inept self how to turn on the shower when I got flummoxed by the tap.
Of note was the beautiful, large, open design of the hotel reception area on floor 15 where the hotel floors begin…it was expansive, interesting, with great views and cozy details. It was somehow stark and vast, yet warm and inviting at the same time.

I was told as soon as I checked in that my parking was free until the very next day until 5 so
I asked about the day we checked out and the lady just made it free for us the entire time we were there. I had to call the manager maybe 4 days after we left because i finally gotten my deposit back on the room and I realize they only gave me 82 out of the 200 back, long story short the manager basically called my boyfriend and I liars because “ no one” would tell us that. Everything else about the hotel was great but I was disappointed about how the manager talked to me and he wouldn’t even review the cameras to see what I was talking about. Never staying here again!!!!

It’s very convenient location wise and in a spot where it doesn't get crowded with tourists outside the hotel.
They offer breakfast buffet for 25 dollars which was reasonable for the quality of the food that they have.
The guest lounge area was comfortable with a bar that also had a happy hour.
I deducted 1 star for the staff because check in experience was not the best. Some of them need to work on how to speak to people without an attitude. Even if there were no issues with checking in, it seems like this particular staff member was just annoyed anyways. Thank goodness the staff member during check out was pleasant and professional.

Noisy. All rooms face the huge central courtyard where the restaurant and bar are located. Noise travels up to the bedrooms as in an auditorium. Do not choose if you plan to go to bed before 1am when noise from the bar quietens down. Other than that it is a good hotel, in a good location, but I wouldn't stay unless you plan you go to bed late or use ear plugs.

The hotel is a short and safe walk to public transportation. The views from the room were spectacular. There was a lot to do near the hotel, including the river walk, shopping, and restaurants.

Room was fine, however dust collected on the wall above the bathroom mirror in a five inch band - not great for people with dust and mold allergies. In addition the person in the adjoining room was a smoker and the smoke woke me up it was so strong.
The design of the 15 floor lobby bar means that the noise carries up to all of the rooms and can become loud resulting in a poor night’s sleep. Very unpleasant. Views are spectacular and service team pleasant.
