Walls paper thin, people sat outside and loud until all hours. Hard to sleep with the noise. Won't say again due to noise.

It was an overnight stay. I called early on that I will be arriving late. Jessica was all smile to help me with my check in, in the middle of the night, bless her. I felt bad that she has to wake up after midnight. It was a long drive. I'm on my own and felt safe at the place. The room and bathroom was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets was clean. Microwave & fridge was present. The only downgrade, was the odor coming out of the air-condition, which then the smell goes into the room. Maybe the filter or AC needs cleaning or replacing. Again Jessica was very helpful and nice even during breakfast time. Econolodge should keep her! Thank you Jessica!

All the staff were friendly. We were able to warm the room sufficiently and it was quiet overnight so we could sleep. Some items in the room were old but they worked and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom floors could have been cleaner but water pressure in the shower was good.

When it comes to hotels along the highway, I have a single, solitary question :: will I get bed bugs here? At this Econo Lodge, I did not get bed bugs so I was quite satisfied. Also, they had cool balconies that overlooked a pretty river -- nice! A fine hotel for my purposes.

From the outside it looked cheap but it was very clean and comfortable inside. I enjoyed the OK sized room and good sized bathroom. The breakfast was provided at the small lobby. It would be inconvenient if you really want to sit there. I just grabbed a couple of bananas and a bagel then move on. I will return if I revisit this area :-)

This was a great place for a quick stay. We were doing road trips all over Vermont and Canada to view fall foliage. Easy access to routes and center of town has many options for food and festivities.

The rooms (all 3 of them) were immaculate and the mattresses were extremely comfortable and shower was perfect. Grounds and surrounding area was very quiet and calming just to sit outside our rooms. We all would have liked a bit more on the breakfast selection - and the coffee was NOT good at all. My only complaint was that the rooms were very hot and stuffy, but the other adults all enjoyed the warmth.

Mixed bag. The room was clean, but was a little knackered in small areas, caulking job needed around the A/C, a loose fitting in the shower. Shower pressure low, never hot. I was in town for a wedding. My sister stayed elsewhere. When I saw her, she was angry that her call to my room was not put through, and the clerk would not say if I was even there. The clerk apologized to me, and said that was procedure. I was not happy with the lack of soundproofing. Night one, laughing shouting women in the next room. Night two, an obscenity filled fight among at least four people in that same room! I called the front desk, but I don't the man on duty was even in the office. Sounded far away. I left at 3 am with no sleep. I want a refund. Never again at this place.

The place is very clean, but walls are thin and too noisy, equipment (refrigerator and air conditioning) are old and very loud, hard to sleep with them on.

Clean, new decor. Smallish beds and minuscule pillows for the price.

Requested a handicapped room which was not available. Hotel was being worked on and probably should have been closed for renovations. The parking lot was horrible. Would not recommend this hotel.

We had reserved a room here when traveling through Vermont. My Choice Hotels profile calls for a non-smoking room, which was confirmed.When we arrived, they only had a "smoking" room that had been closed up for days and reeked (I mean really reeked) of smoke. I asked for a refund and they refused so we stayed. The carpets were filthy, dirt deep in all the corners, and the AC didn't work at all. Again the staff was unconcerned, because they were full. Next day all our luggage an clothes stank. If you're staying in the St Albans area and this is your only choice, the drive the extra hour to Burlington. Seriously,it's that bad!
