I have stayed at the Governor Morris several times and will stay there again when in Morristown. The hotel has a restaurant, but they should include at least a modest breakfast with the room. No other complaint. Nice place to stay.

Never stayed here before but what a gem! The room was very clean and very comfortable. Sat at the bar/restaurant and the atmosphere was nice. Everyone there was very friendly. Will definitely stay there again!

The room was comfortable and the hotel was convenient to where we were headed to see our son, but we ended up being "rained on" in the bathroom, as there was quite a leak above the toilet which wet us and the floor. We reported it (Room 416).

There was a loud fan in the bathroom that could not be turned off and was disruptive to sleep. The bathroom also had ceiling stains and areas of obvious water damage (peeling, coarse bubbled surfaces).
There was some kind of reception occurring in the evening attended by less-desirable people. After the party, my hallway was filled with slammed doors and foul language.

The property was very nice. I didn't like the fact, that 2 days before my arrival, I was cancel and booked me in Marriot Hanover hotel, according to them, was due to maintenance issues. My son, argued & talked to the sales manager. They let me in, but, transfer the booking to other members of my family to Marriot hotel. I think, they overbooked. We were part of a family wedding, we choose to be together.

The hotel was overbooked. We had booked a Queen room and they bumped us to a double. When asked the front desk seemed disinterested to rude.

Located right off the highway, easy check-in, lovely bar and restaurant. Very clean well appointed room. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed the bathrobe.

This hotel was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time in the area but we will definitely return. There were weddings going on but it still didnt feel croweded. The outdoor pool was a huge bonus for me. We stayed on the 3rd floor and this is where the pool was so it was so convenient. Cant wait for our next stay.

The ac in the room is very weak. We were hot throughout the night.
The lamp lights at the night stand were flickering.
Poor water pressure. The ceiling in the shower was cracked, pealing, and there was mold.
The room provided shampoo & conditioner but no body wash. The scent of the shampoo and conditioner was very nice.
The bedding was nice and room smelled clean.
There was only one attendant at check in and he was overly busy trying to sell the guest in front of us on their rewards program. Making check in longer than necessary.
Overall the hotel common area was very nice and big however the room was decent at best and gave more of a motel vibe with upgraded bedding.
We checked in at 8pm and they did grant us a delayed check out. We left at 12 instead of 11am normal check out time

We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean and spacious, and the service was great. The atmosphere was lovely, and I have no complaints in that regard.
We stayed there for a wedding, so there were quite a few of us, and it was very accommodating. However, there were a couple of minor issues. Given the price we paid, it would have been nice to have a complimentary breakfast. Additionally, the washroom in our bedroom had a door that was difficult to open and close, as it kept slipping out of the track. There was also no fan in the washroom, which would have been helpful after showering.Despite these small inconveniences, everything else was fantastic, and I would strongly recommend this hotel. It's clean, quiet, and provided a pleasant stay.

Very comfortable bed, nice linens, clean room. I slept well. Maybe could use a refurb soon--not that it was in poor condition, but the carpet was showing some signs of age and the window shades didn't work very well and are starting to wear out on the sides. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would return.

Decent Hotel. I would says it’s a 3-4 star. It’s a little older and dated. Bathrooms are very small. Good for the area though.

Property was nice. However carpets in room were stained peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. Staff were nice but hard to find when trying to get assistance. Overall nice hotel but expected more based on what they hype.

Phone in room never worked...told front desk first day, was never fixed. Shower water came down from overhead, impossible to take shower without getting hair wet. TV control worked poorly, ? Bad batteries? Ordered room service once, ordered red wine and it came up white (room service attendant apologized and fixed very quickly, she was really good!), Workout room had ellipticals with TV, but only if you paid for it...that's pretty cheap, considering room cost! Went out to car last day (Sunday)...about 7:30 am, glass wine bottle broken at the bottom, ready to enter a tire, in parking lot just behind car next to me.
