What a wonderful property can’t say enough great things about it! I will definitely be back.

My partner and I took an overnight trip to Lexington to spend time with family. Upon arriving at the hotel, the check in was prompt and was a good experience. However, when we went to our room, it was hot and smelled like bleach. We turned the air down and stayed a while then we left to meet family for dinner. Upon arriving back several hours later, the room was extremely hot. The temperature had not moved since check in. Having health issues that requires a cool environment, I called Guest services. I was on hold for 15 minutes. Finally, they said they would send a technician to the room. Thirty minutes passed. I called again and the guy arrived. He said oh you’re on the south side and it’s hot over here. He did something to it and said I’ll bring you some fans. He showed back up with two Walmart looking fans. The temperature never changed. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Marriott. The guest services said that if I had Booked through Marriott and not a third party they would have refunded my money. Will not stay at Marriott again.

Very nice but disappointed I had to pay a resort fee when I checked in at 9pm and left early the next morning…need to charge that when staying more than 12hrs

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. We appreciated the elegant finishes and all of the spaces available including the bar space and sitting spaces. That said the pool and hot tub were in terrible shape flaking concrete. The hot tub wasn’t hot at all and the pool was ice cold. In addition, the air conditioning was not working properly for two of the three days we were there and being from a colder state. It was not very comfortable for us at all.

The room was not the cleanest. The floor was dirty. The worst part was the cold shower i had to take the next morning and terrible water pressure from the sink. It was barely more than a trickle and it was hard to get a wash cloth wet or brush your teeth. I inquired at the front desk and all she said was, well i can see if we have an empty room and you can move. NO! When im staying with friends, im not going to pack up all my things and move away from everyone else. She shouldve at the very least offered a discount

The state was very nice. Everybody was friendly. The only thing I did not I checked out a day early and they have not released my feet and they accidentally charged me twice.

There was no air conditioning when we arrived. My room was 83 degrees. They did send maintenance right away who lowered the temp to 78. The entire hotel was hot. My room smelled like I was in a hot tub. Its an okay hotel but would rather stay somewhere else.

Temperature was 81. When we complained they sent some right away but it would not go below 75. In the middle of the night it went to 78. Very uncomfortable. Apparently our room was above the pool and it reeked of chlorine. Lastly, there was no conditioner in the shower container.

Everything was good about the stay except one thing. On Saturday night after returning from the Kentucky basketball game we get to our floor that had an extremely strong smell of marijuana. From 11:30pm to 1:00am they were kids running up and down the hallway and banging on doors. We had to call the front desk twice asking if they could get them to stop. When leaving on Sunday we had open candy wrappers and soda cans laying on the ground outside our door.

Very clean, comfortable hotel. The only thing I would suggest is a magnifying mirror. Would be helpful with ladies applying makeup and getting ready. Also, a small garbage can in bathroom would be nice. Also, lost a piece of jewelry on way to room. Thankfully an honest person gave to front desk clerk and I got it back. Kuddos to them for honesty!! Would stay again and take my own mirror.

We have stayed at this hotel five times during the last two years, and it is nice, clean, and easy to load in, and out. I am over 70, and it seems that we are always booked into the last room in a long hallway when the hotel is far from fully booked. Also on our last visit the lobby area, and bar were very cold. In fact we ate dinner at the bar in our winter coats.

Furnace would not turn off it was 76 degrees all night bar closed at 10 on a Saturday which seems a little early.

It was a great experience from the moment we pulled in. We were greeted by David who helped us with our bags and check-in. After our long drive, even gave us a few great food recommendations. What a pleasant and warm welcome to Lexington!

The bathroom doors are terrible. They did not close all the way. They are made of glass so the light shines into the main area from the bathroom. No option to dim the bathroom light. No fan in the bathroom. The toilet faces the double doors to the bathroom that wouldn’t close all the way. Really should be addressed.

Lobby was charming and rooms were typical Marriott rooms renovated clean and adequate amenities. The property was gorgeous plenty of options pool, tennis, and golf. Great resort

You can tell there was a labor shortage Ballet was an hour and a half wait he told me only one working valet . One person at the reception desk drink, prime check in.

This was our first time at this hotel and it was nearly perfect. Great location, great hospitality. Our only issues were 1) the AC in our unit didn't work (we didn't report but should have and 2) the sliding door to the balcony was nearly impossible to open. Otherwise, we'll be back.
