When I booked this hotel I expected exceptional service and quality that comes with the Ritz Carlton name and brand.
I had asked several times prior to arrival for a roll away bed to be placed in the room. Upon check in at the desk I was told a roll away would be in the room and watched the employee even write it down. I was told not to worry it would be in the room once it was ready. After waiting past 4:00 to get the room we went upstairs and still no roll away bed. After waiting a few minutes I called again and the gentleman that answered said it would be in the room
In a few minutes and not to worry. Yet again no bed came. I called again before I left the room for dinner was told
It would be in the room when I got back. Come back to the room two hours later and yet again no roll away. Now I call again before going out for the night and this time I’m told not to worry it will be there when we arrive back. Would you like a guess what wasn’t in the room when we arrived back for the night. No roll away! Now at this point where we are tired ready for bed I call again and told it will be up shortly. After waiting and waiting and waiting it was enough. We made a make shift bed with pillows and slept on the floor. Wow! What a great ritz Carlton experience. Sleeping on the floor!
Next issue. Walking into the room for the first time the smell of marjuana was so potent and horrible. Upon asking house keeping several times for help nothing again was done to remove the smell.

Person at front desk was rude upon check-in. $700.00 room was dirty, dusty and had handprints all over the mirror and wine glasses. Asked to speak to a manager and there was no manager on duty. Left my cell number and name for the manager to call and it's been 3 days with no call. Give me a break.

First i have to say how wonderful the staff is at the hotel. Grace and Alice in the club lounge couldn't have been more helpful. And while there i met Darryl McGarity who is the director of sales and marketing. Although my wife and i were only there for a long weekend he was so kind to spend time with us and discuss area attractions. When I expressed my disappointment at not being able to make it to the local art museum he sent over a book to our room on the treasures of that museum. Truly unexpected and really above and beyond.
The hotel restaurant, Turn was also a gem with an interesting menu and delicious food.
Location is also excellent and the hotel is really an easy walk to just about anywhere downtown. And of course being a Ritz Carlton it goes without saying that the rooms and other facilities are first class.

The people we encountered at the hotel were great...but I received many communications prior to coming and requested a crib in the room. I received confirmation that it was all set...and then the room did not have one. It seems like they might have been a little off or short staffed the night we were there. That said, everyone we encountered was extremely nice. The rooms are different than the pictures-smaller, different furniture. The bathroom is really beautiful.

The staff and food were lovely. Everyone was pleasant and willing to help with whatever was needed. The one downfall was when I called ahead for cribs. I did not receive them upon arrival, so I again asked the gentleman who helped bring up our bags about cribs. I heard nothing back during our stay.
The room was disappointing given multiple very visible stains and even a bleached area on the bench at the end of the bed. The drapes, which were automatic, were broken and didn’t close. The staff was quite responsive to have them fixed that day. As mentioned above, the food was delicious, though quite expensive ($70 for breakfast for two adults and two kids). There were limited options for vegetarians (one item for dinner), though meat-eaters have quite a few options.
Overall, it was a nice stay, though a bit disappointing for what I expected from the Ritz.

NOTHING available in the room - no ice bucket, no options in a mini bar. For a Ritz, this is below par. The bar closed at 10pm on a night you were full with customers after a rock concert. The pillows smelled like rotten socks. Very disappointed.

We arrived on our honeymoon night. It was a no touch experience. The bell hop welcomed us by name. Rose pedals on the bed with Chocalate covered strawberries and champagne when we arrived. Jason had it slayed.... my wife can’t stop talking about the experience.

I was disappointed there were no places to eat inside the hotel. Room service was available but was limited in choices and very expensive. There was also no place to buy anything to drink such as pop or water. We drank the 2 of water they put in our room everyday but after that it was either drink water from the sink or go without. There was no place to buy a pop or any snacks. The room was nice but not out of the ordinary. Oh..I must add that it did appear snacks/drinks were avail at some time before but possibly not available during our trip because of covid restrictions. We went to the casino which was a covenient walk inside the mall attached to the hotel. Every employee we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay just wish we had more options for meals/drinks/snacks inside the hotel.

My family and I spent the night to cut our drive back home and The Ritz gave us the rest and relaxation we needed. There wasn't a lot of staff around and Ritz Kids was not available understandably due to COVID but the staff did their all to assist us when we needed them.
