Lovely welcoming staff (all staff) cleanliness ,so tidy and willing to help and assisit. .Well done Mountain view M1eals were delicious only wish there were more vegan Vegetarian options but we miss it now we have left and will most definately book with them again

Room was clean nice and comfortable. Dinner not available Mon night but good food at Empire pub nearby in Deloraine. Easy chk in and out.

Comfortable room. Dined in restaurant . Turned out a number of menu items were not available.

No A/c in mountain view rooms but in the cheaper units. Broken fly screen - many invaders. Very noisy ceiling fan on all night to keep the room cool. Poisonous plant outside the window which needed to be open due to no A/c. 1 leaf or flower ingested from the plant can kill a child. Staff are not owners and so oblivious to my professional advice about the plant (Nerium oleander). Would recommend staying there until the do the promise refurbishment and get rid of the plant.

The restaurant food was nice but portions were a little small for the price. I would suggest updating away from the Settler’s theme to suit the asian food The bed was comfy and the position is very convenient. Being surprised by “housekeeping” coming into the room at 9 am when checkout is 10 was a surprise

Excellent restaurant in this motel.

We were travelling around Tasmania and stayed here as it suited the itinerary. It was the cheapest night of the trip (by a considerable margin) and presented excellent value for money in the traditional style motel room with parking outside. They need to discourage smoking close to the rooms though. Deloraine is a nice little place and worth a couple of hours to explore it.

A little out dated, very comfortable and lovely staff. Parking outside your room.

Overall enjoyed stay and room was comfy, but disappointed that paid premium for the spa room only to discover on entering room it was out of order, and had been for sometime I would suggest. A prior warning or a discount would have been nice.

Though an older building, the interior had continuity No rail ton make stepping into shower over bath safe.

The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Views from the rooms are fantastic. For the money it cant be faulted. Friendly staff.

Noisy guests at 2am

On arrival asked if we want to pay $20 more for family room. No thanks! Room was cold. Didn’t welcome us by preheating room. Heater small and took ages to heat room. Outdated with scratched furniture. Crammed 1 queen & 1 single bed into room which left no space for luggage or 3 people to sit. No cooking was allowed in room. If we wanted microwave, had to go to the laundry. Tiny bar fridge with thimble size UHT milks. The motel is 10min from Tasmania’s best dairy.How about showing off local produce? The electric blanket on the single bed didn’t work. No powerpoint on one side of the queen bed, so the electric blanket on that side couldn’t be plugged in. Asked reception for extension cord, but was given a powerboard so powercord stretched across the head of our bed- dangerous and fire hazard. Not very secure rooms. Basic key that can be copied, and there is a hatch from the outside that leads to a cupboard inside the door that’s large enough for a person to fit through. Even a printout in the room of the civil liberty act basically saying if anything gets damaged/stolen its not their fault- scary! Next room was playing loud music until dawn. Tred calling reception- no answer. At 0930 the reception was closed so I couldn’t mention any of the above to them. Restaurant overpriced. Ate at the Bush Inn instead and glad we did. 2 stars because nice view and clean. This was Room 19. No idea how this motel got the high rating it has. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Located between Cradle Mountain and Launceston which very much suits our travelling plan

Family room with kitchen, but told no cooking allowed.

Crisp clean sheets and towels. Electric blankets. Helpful staff. Extra parking space for trailer.

Cheap basic stay.

Lovely open view from the big windows in our motel unit.

Disappointing mainly due to not being provied with the booked room with airconditioning. We had very hot days and had no relief. Also the proprty is fairly old and tiered. TV did not worked but was quickly replaced.

The staff were great. Rooms and restaurant need updating. On our final morning we had no hot water. There was an elderly gentleman in the room next to us who smoked right outside our bathroom window and left his ashtray there so beware if you get room 12.
