I enjoyed the pina colada at the tiki bar. It’s really delicious compared to some other locations including high-end restaurants that I’ve had before. I liked the convenience at the property because it’s right at the beach. The umbrella rental is with a decent price. However i wish they could have extended the removal time of the umbrellas to 7 pm instead of 5-5:30 pm . When it’s raining then it’s understandable to remove the umbrellas early. I just didn’t like it when i was enjoying the view and the employee walked over to remind me that i had 10-15 minutes to leave so he could remove the umbrella. The foods was average with the same menu every day. And there weren’t many nice restaurants around the area so i didn’t think i would stay longer than three days at this property/area. When i asked if there was fresh squeezed orang juice the waiter said “yes” so i ordered. But when i started drinking then it tasted like some sort of fermented drink! The room was kinda dusty but i always brought disinfectant wipes with me so it wasn’t a big concern. The stairway was terribly dirty. I tried to walk to beach through the stairway once in stead of using elevator but i couldn’t tolerate the bad odor!!! The last thing was about the bill. They charged me for something that i didn’t buy. But the manager did call and removed it. I just didn’t like the hassle to call to resolve the issue.

We really enjoyed this beachfront Hotel.

We thought the staff was always so kind and helpful, the view is amazing, the beds were very comfortable and the resort is within driving distance to anything you could need. The tiki bar is what made me choose this place and we weren’t disappointed!

Rooms were ready and clean. The Staff is very welcoming !

Our room was spacious and clean. Maid service was excellent and available every day. Plenty of towels for the beach and pool. The restaurant was average at best. Limited choices and service was slow. The pool is small but clean. Definitely an adult atmosphere.

We would definitely stay here again

Housekeeping was terrible, never got room cleaned until 4-5pm. Wall shower cleaning products but was all empty bottles. Coconut Charlie restaurant had awful food.

Excellent location and very clean hotel. Love the Golf view

Hotel appears clean but after staying 4 night, on the finaly morning I spotted live bed bugs in our room. I had bites all over me the whole time, but after being outside and on tours and things i thought they were mosquito bites. They were not. Inspect rooms throughly and if you wake up with bites of any kind, trust your gut and move hotels. I will say prior to finding the bugs our stay was pleasant enough, nice beach access and the pool was nice and open late. Food was average and expensive for what you got, but it was quick and easily available. Staff was nice, but asked for maid services twice while there and never got it in 4 days.

Staff is very friendly and the rooms were clean and in good condition. Beds very comfortable.

My wine glass I ordered for my $100 bottle of wine was dirty, little did I know until I had poured the wine, threw that wine out of the glass and wasted got a plastic cup instead. So I drank $100 wine out of a cup. I then parked when I first came in to find a dead bird in the parking lot, making me already queasy. Normally I love doubletrees but this was not my fondest moment at one.

I didn't like paying to park. Only 2 packs of coffee and had to ask for more. Kleenex not replinished. Toilet was plugged when we checked in, but was promply fixed after informing them.

My stay was wonderful!! The hotel was very clean. Everyone was super friendly. The restaurant was so convenient with great food and drinks. And the beach was excellent ( I.e. location, cleanliness). Oh yes! A big shout out to Kevin for the chaises. He was so accommodating!!😉

We loved our stay here. The hotel was very clean and very quiet. The beach was gorgeous. We could sit on our balcony and enjoy it. The restaurant was good or we could take a short walk to another good restaurant. We will be back!

The hospitality

Loved the property. Room was clean and comforting. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The staff was beyond excellent . Comfortable beds and wonderful pillows. Stayed at Double Tree Beach Retreat. N. Redington Beach. Front desk person Joel was #1. Outstanding employee that you should be proud to have represent you. You need to take really good care of that one.

Would like parking or breakfast included, but other than that, all perfect stay

The stay was so nice. My daughter and i had the best time. The only think that was a little annoying is house keeping. Sometimes they would be in our room between 10-5 (which was great because we were gone) or there were days they would show up at 6 (which was very inconvenient). But overall the staff (waiting staff, bar staff front desk, even the men on the beach and maintenence staff and the very kind ladies that kept the floors sand free and dry) was GREAT, the hotel was beautiful and super clean. We will definitely be back.

This is not our first time to hotel but it was much improved from previous stay which was good when we stayed before. We did have one rainy day out of 3 nights. We had gulf view room on floor 5. Totally enjoyed view, room was perfect and clean, food in restaurant was delicious especially dinner. We will be staying again. Pictures are accurate to what hotel looks like in person.

Housekeeping did not come to clean the room until 5:00PM … caught me in the shower…. Not satisfied with the menu at Coconut Charlie’s… not enough variety, forced me to go out elsewhere to dine… but overall the Doubletree is the the best hotel on the beach!
