Fantastic customer service. the property is in beautiful surrounds, beautifully maintained, comfortable and a great location for our needs. The staff were super helpful when we needed to find accomodation at the last minute. They were very sympathetic to our needs, attentive yet not intrusive. A beautiful surprise!

Lovely resort style property. Very relaxing and loved the kangaroos wandering around. Stayed here multiple times and will stay again. The Hope Island / Sanctuary Cove area is very nice with lots of restaurants and shopping as well as close to the theme parks

We booked the Intercontinental as a last minute decision to stop on the way back to Brisbane. It was just for the one night to recover from Lennoxhead. It was this or the Imperial but I'm delighted I chose correctly. This time? Wow! Just wow! From the minute we arrived until we left we had absolutely superb service - from everyone. The better half had knackered her ankle so we asked if we could get a lift to the rooms. Couldn't be simpler and in fact we used that particular service to go into the village and then to leave. Wife decided she had to have some wedges so off to the outside bar I went. I asked if they could be sent to the upstairs bar inside but being a deefie... thought they said that was ok. Fifteen minutes later I had a feeling I'd misunderstood. The wonderful Veronica checked it out and said it was an unusual request but they all decided that they'd bring the wedges up. Up they came in their own boxes with the sauce in another one. Brilliant they were too. The room itself (Phoenix room 333 overlooking the lagoon) was tops with two nice big double beds, proper coffee machine, comfy chairs and a good sized tellie. Wallabies welcomed us when we went for a walk and a couple of them had joeys hiding underneath. Breakfast had a decent selection with only one complaint. All the food was lukewarm; good though and the barramundi was hot and excellent. But for heavens sake turn up the water heat. Check out The Sebel Coolangatta to see how it should be done.

The hotel feels tired. Rooms were very expensive because of the boat show and I should have paid a regular room rate and stayed down at the Gold Coast in a newly renovated place. There was no forewarning at all that there would be a very loud party on the hotel lawn near our room until 10pm. I know 10pm isn’t extremely late but as an early riser I would have appreciated the information and I wouldn’t have booked the non-refundable room. The room is basic. You’re paying for the location.

Just the most beautiful resort! Everything was clean and stunning. Our room had everything we needed! The dining options on site were exceptional and our kids had the best time with the pools and mini golf. The service was outstanding and we everything was taken care of for us! We are already looking to come back!

Absolutely phenomenal experience! The service was exceptional, with everyone being incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond by giving extra attention to our son, making him feel special with complimentary gifts and chocolates. Our room was stocked with sweets, and they even took care of our luggage. We were provided with a free buggy ride to the village for dinner, where they dropped us off and picked us up afterward. We enjoyed delicious pasta at Ioseco. The beach was stunning, with warm water and complimentary water bean bags and table service right by the water's edge. There were plenty of activities for the kids, including large chess, mini-golf, and volleyball. The Marina was impressive, with all the yachts on display. It truly felt like a tropical island resort, despite being just an hour away from home. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience; we will definitely be returning!

Every single staff was so friendly and very helpful. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the facilities are looked after.

The staff and facilities are great but the hotel is looking tired. Our room a marina view ground floor smelt and was damp.

Beautiful place, we stayed when it was quiet but during school holidays I can imagine this place would be utter pandemonium with kids everywhere: it’s very much a kid friendly resort, so be aware of that!

The staff are lovely, the property is a little run down. Very expensive for what we got. Our room Had a flood poor Maine N e air con so we had late checkout and left at 10. Coving around top Pool missing and dangerous and pool not clean, lagoon pool Poorly maintained but cracks and cracks jagged under foot. Was told that they have had issues With it lately so was closed a week. Club room Not worth the cost, we ate in Sanctuary cove restaurants not the hotel. If you charge top Price provide the facilities and service to match. Good spot but prob won’t go back.

We were greeted by an unfreidly night staff manager. Was not helpfull.. Fortunately every other staff member were above the average nationwide.

Blue lagoon great for children

Although the experience was mostly great there were a few issues. The air conditioning in our room malfunctioning (this was fixed rather quickly) as well as issues with access to our breakfast. However the hotel is in close proximity to several excellent restaurants and the grounds were beautiful.

It is a beautiful property but the rooms were never cleaned properly & had so many mosquitos even though we never left the doors open. The cleaner left a cleaning cloth on our clean clothes. Never washed any of the cups or glasses in our room. The Adair conditioner was leaking in the fro t desk area & dining room.

We booked several rooms for our family and our friends too for my 60th birthday. I received bottle of champagne with card for my birthday and make my feel so special! We live all your friendly staff, especially cleaners and at pool area service. Thank you!

not great value for money. The hotel outdoor area is meant to be the biggest selling point at the height of Aussie summer and is in great need of upkeep and renovation around the pool areas. Food at the lagoon pool bar is double the price of normal costs and pretty underwhelming taste and presentation. Whole interior lobby and decor is a bit dated - carpets need to be replaced in rooms.
