There is a reason this is one of the cheapest rooms in Pagosa. Renovation. Rooms are half finished, but still old. AC unit was failing off the wall and so noisy we turned it off and opened the window. It could barely keep the room cool anyway. Bathroom was a disaster with mold on the walls. Shower was on blast and tended to spray the room and floors. Exposed cabling in the hallways and rooms. Construction plastic and half finished carpet everywhere. We stayed at a Quality Inn in Gunnison the night before that was a near perfect experience. Clean, cool, neat and quiet. This location should not be renting these rooms until renovation is complete. And they should fire whoever is doing the renovation.........

The property was in the midst of renovations, so it's not really fair to rate some aspects. The person who checked us in was outstanding, and everyone we interacted with was friendly.

toilet paper and was never stalked the 2 days were there. We ran out at 2:00 am. Not even a half a roll when we arrived and housekeeping never filled or left another roll.

Orla at the front desk was so nice and helpful. We had the pleasure of her helping us both at check-in and check-out. Room was clean, but building was undergoing some construction that our room was in. Close to everything and walkable to the hot springs.

Don’t stay in in place it’s crap and falling down.

Placed was under remodeling and materials and debris was scattered all around making walking difficult. Front desk personnel worn a gun on her hip and was very rude to hotel guests, cussing at guests and even locked the front door so people could not checkout or enjoy the offered breakfast. Will never stay here again.

This is a terrible and unkempt property. Way outdated. Holes in walls. Ripped up carpet. Musty smell. Dirty. Rude staff. Air conditioner loud and not effective in cooling with wood and caulk supporting it. Lights burnt out. Smell of THC. Hazard. When showering if another room flushes a toilet, water is very hot. Don’t stay here.

This property is definitely not in safe condition. This was the only hotel available when we booked in the evening. The checkin was ridiculous too. The furniture in the lobby was all torn up and had sheets over the cushions. When I went to check in they told me to wait 15 minutes while others came in and they signed them in. They sent us “next door” to another building that they were remodeling and there was construction going on everywhere. The rooms were not in good condition at all. They had the air conditioners where you couldn’t get them to work efficiently without going to office and complaining and then they sent someone to adjust it. A lot of the things in the room were from another state and obviously very dated. We had traveled all over Colorado and I must say this hotel was the most expensive as all others were in excellent condition and we could not believe how bad this one actually was

The Fridge found hot. We let the Front Office know. $120.00 of food spoiled. Two days later still not cooling. Noisy room from pipes going off all day and all night. Primitive A/C unit, noisy and inefficient. TV had only One Channel. Go figure! Going back in Time!

Horrible place. Did not get my money back after cancelling. Nasty water pool. Horrible staff.

My kids made the comment that this place should be called the Unquality Inn. Although it is the lowest priced hotel in Pagosa Springs, you get what you pay for. The hotel is very outdated. The lobby has old couches with holes in them that they tried to cover with a sheet. The room had a stale smell and seemed to be damp the entire time. I have never been more grossed out by walking barefoot on a carpet. The ceiling had water marks in spots and what could be mold in other spots. Holes in the walls and ceiling were filled with that pink foam insulation stuff that hardens, and just left unfinished. The faucet in the bathroom was not completely attached to the sink. The bathroom did have good water pressure and the breakfast was acceptable. It was a close walk to the hotsprings in the river and across the street from The Springs Resort. Staff was nice and helpful. The pillows and beds were nice. We had to find someone to let us in the vending room each time we needed ice, as our key did not let us in. We saw a gentleman that worked at the hotel take out a garbage bag, it was pouring liquid all down the hallway to outside. This might have something to do with the strange smell of the place. They took your license plate for parking, but we saw people parking there that were not staying at the hotel, all day and night. This hotel is like the Shining and and your great grandma's old cabin had a baby, creepy and vintage, but not in a good way.

They are presently doing a major renovation to the property. I wouldn’t recommend staying there until it is completed, or the room cost should at least be cut in half.

Every thing in the room are out of date or broken, hotel itself needs to repair a lot. Stuff are not friendly and there were anything there and not clean. It was very disappointed.

Lobby and front desk were dirty and dusty. Receptionist left a lot to be desired in terms of professionalism expected at a hotel. No elevator. Toilet barely worked. Ongoing construction but no signage to indicate so.

The smell was the worst , it’s an old ugly place, nothing from the photos in the app, the staff & service so bad & rude. This place was a nightmare for real

The rooms were ok. I could tell they were about to upgrade everything because there was remodel material staged everywhere. It looks like it will be nicer one day. Staff was great, breakfast was alright, I'm a sticker for coffee and waffles. Rims should be discounted till remodel is done though. Very cute town tho. Hotel is well located for that.

The website said they were remodling and it was ok. Air conditioner did work. Furniture (tables for microwave) were placed on wood blocks. Outside weeds were grown up around the building and front colums were broken . The chair in our room had blood stains on it.

Wow, this was a Quality Inn? This place was in poor condition and in a state of being updated/repaired. Included breakfast was embarrassing bad. Bathroom was tiny and the shower would shut off if someone in another room flushed their toilet. This hotel was grossly overpriced considering the amenities.

Pricey run down hotel

We booked this propery for 2 nights. When we drove up, there were multiple trash cans overflowi g, stones/rock falling off columns, paint peeling, potholes in the parking lot. We could not stay there, as we were concerned about the condition of the inside. We understand that the property is under renovation, but there is so much about the property that they could have controlled, but didn't. The front desk lady was so kind and she is the only bright spot about this place.

Hotel old and run down. Needs a thorough cleaning. Pictures on line do not depict its current condition.

This property is being refurbished and is a work in progress. On the outside is updated and nice. Inside was another story, more like from the 1970's. There is no elevator, and the doors are all mis-matched. Our room was decorated fine, minus the popcorn ceiling and visible drywall screws. The bathroom sink and (commercial style) toilet in our room were too short, I felt like I was in a preschool. Yet the hook on the back of the bathroom door was waaaaay at the top of the door. The plumbing has issues, and every time a toilet was flushed it sounded like a jack hammer. The person checking us in was rather gruff, and breakfast was very basic. On the plus side, it was a quiet location, the beds were very comfortable, and an easy walk to the river.

Too much to list. Years of neglect and mismanagement. This place needs to be demolished!

This place is gross to say the least! We walked in to a lady behind the counter holding a cat but the sign in front makes it clear no animals are allowed or they would be charged. The place stuck, the rooms were clean but just looked and smelled dirty. We could see sunlight from our air conditioner. When we departed the same cat was sitting in the window seal of one of the rooms. We will never stay here again. For what we got charged a night was not worth it!

Had two rooms. They took 100 dollar deposit for each room. Cleaned both rooms properly before leaving and they did not return either deposit. Won’t be staying there again at all.
