The hotel was clean, but a bit tired looking. The breakfast buffet set up needs improving. Needs table allocation when you arrive. On a couple of occasions we had to clear and clean the table ourselves as there wasn’t enough staff around.
The spa area is a nice addition to the hotel, but it needs a bit of a spruce up and a good clean.

Stayed here two nice with my sons. Overall, it was a good stay. We arrived at 11 am although we knew check-in was at 3. We were told we could get our room once ready. Ok, no worries. We relaxed in the lobby for a bit then asked for a luggage storage. (This wasn’t proactively offered to us). We returned at 1:45. Room still wasn’t available. Ok, no problem. Considering we reserved a more expensive family room, it would’ve been a nice gesture to get us our room sooner. At 3:02 I approached the desk and was told the room still wasn’t ready. What?!? I asked what I would get as compensation since it was now after 3. A manager came over and said room was ready. That was it. They knew I wasn’t happy. The Family Room is actually two adjacent connecting rooms. Ok, no worries. But the inner door was locked. Minor inconvenience. The Thermal Spring pools are really nice and I would recommend this hotel simply for those. The sauna was not in operation however. And on the second night we were kicked out of the pool 10 mins before closing. Overall, nice hotel. Great amenities. 5 km/3 miles from the chain bridge but easy to reach. Bolt scooters parked outside are a nice added convenience as well. I would recommend this place. Just don’t expect 5 star service.

Hotels very nice and had a great sauna of an exercise facility.

A great location to visit Aquincum ruins, museums and day/evening trips to Szentendre.
The access to public transport is excellent.
The Gyógy Fürdő is a great addition to a stay at the hotel.
The exterior of the hotel is in a state of neglect, needing much repair and cleaning. The rooms need a deep clean.
3.8
We couldn't get rooms for three people to a room when we booked. but they had rooms available when we were there for three to a room so felt a bit ripped off there. Not every room got a free bottle of wine & not every room got the mini bar re stocked. Bar area needed tables cleaning & on the floor where people had sat there was food on the carpet, we asked staff to clean so we could sit but eventually asking four times we cleaned it ourselves by getting their cleaning stuff and cloth wowww. Bed comfy but room furniture in need of updating and showers head do not hold themselves

Check in was easy and efficient. Find all staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was alright same choice all days. Room decor tired, carpet , wall need to be refreshed .
The state of the toilet was a major scare , that should not look like that in a 4* hotel.
We would not return for the price we paid and the room we got.

Nice hotel friendly staff convenient for the local transport to explore Budapest
3.8
The hotel is located far from the city centre, but there is a traway stop in front of it going there in few minutes, and other lines of public transport are very close. The famous Margit island, with nice parks and other attractions, is at walking distance (you have just to cross the bridge). Other attractions are also close, like the Hungarian Museum of Commerce and Hospitality or the Roman Anphitheatrum. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The food was also good.

This hotel was very underwhelming. The room was lackluster, had dirty carpet throughout including large sticky spots that our feet stuck to. There are only 2 English channels on tv, both of which are news, and no way to log into your own streaming subscription. Our room’s air conditioner didn’t work, luckily we had conjoined rooms with family members and were able to keep the doors open. They made a big deal about us asking the maid for extra towels, even going so far as to have the front desk call our room to scold us for doing so. The food was good, both the lobby and pools are beautiful. I don’t recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at a spa hotel in Budapest and had a mixed experience. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the spa, which featured three pools and a relaxing jacuzzi, providing a perfect escape from the city bustle and the extreme tempatures. The breakfast was also commendable, offering a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes.
However, the service quality was inconsistent. While some staff members were exceptionally attentive and helpful, others seemed uninterested and detached. This inconsistency detracted from the overall experience.
The hotel itself presents itself as a luxury establishment, and it likely was when it was first built over a decade ago. Unfortunately, it now feels like it's past its prime. The decor and facilities show signs of aging and could benefit from some updates and maintenance to restore their former glory.
Despite these drawbacks, the hotel's charm and the pleasant spa experience made our stay enjoyable. If you appreciate a good spa and are willing to overlook some of the dated aspects and varying service levels, this hotel can still offer a pleasant stay in Budapest.

I didn't know that my reservation had included breakfast. Thanks for packing up my breakfast when we had to leave early in the morning
3.8
The pool area was nice, the room needed some maintenance.
3.8
I did noy receive any welcome drinks or wine bottle as suggested via Expedia. Also the amenities (toiletries, tea/coffee etc) in the room were not replaced on a single night of our stay. I has to ask everyday for them to be replaced.
The pool area was nice but otherwise this was not more than s 2 or 3 star hotel

Very attentive staff. Good spa and fitness area

This was our second stay and the Hotel is beautiful, comfortable, conveniently located to transit and the Thermal Waters were fantastic!
Unfortunately during our stay the saunas were being remodeled and were out of service which was disappointing but will hopefully be finished before our next stay!
3.8
Very good value for money. Perhaps a little lacking in attention to detail. The staff were very helpful and friendly which is more important to me than a few little things that could be better.
3.8
Hotel was nice. Room was comfy but quite hot despite the heating was switched off. Breakfast was very good. The only thing I really don’t understand is the parking fee which is not low. When you’re guest the parking should be free. This is ridiculous. The spa area was great after whole day but there would be more care to cleanliness.

This hotel is out of the way but was suitable for the area where I needed to be. Good public transportation in the vicinity but it would be hard to figure out for most tourists.
The hotel is run down, the furniture beat up; the rooms are poorly soundproofed. The bathtub was very slippery, can't understand why they have bathtubs instead of showers in any hotel. The worst was the gathering of smokers just below my window, it was too hot if I kept the window closed, stunk when opened it plus loud as they were well lit too. There is a smoking area further out but they all gathered just outside the front door, keeping their drinks on an antique, Roman inscription to Vespasian.
3.8
the room was very old with cartpet there was no chance without carpet room choosen Pool was not clean seemed and fieling I mean the water in the pool
3.8
Disappointing stay. Room had not been vacuumed or dusted. Many stains on the carpets and walls including a splattering of ketchup in the bedroom. I had much higher expectations. Very dirty.
3.8
Should be cheaper, as we are not in Iceland but in Hungary. Room, parking, restaurant and pools were good, but nothing more than that.
3.8
Great place. Only complaint was that there was no hot water in the shower. Luckily I do cold showers. So no problem for me. But the next guest might not like it :-)
3.8
The breakfast was not included in the rate and I requested it to be charged to the room. Before leaving the dining area, they asked me to settle the bill, but I hadn't brought my wallet, so I insisted again that it be charged to the room. Later, some manager followed me to the elevator to try to charge me again. Once more, I told him I had no way to pay him at that moment. As soon as I reached the room, reception called me to come down and pay for the breakfast. Their billing procedure was very unpleasant. The person who charged me at reception was quite sarcastic about it.
The facilities leave much to be desired and the rooms are not in the best condition. Old and worn furniture. Although it wasn't dirty, it looked dirty.
3.8
Average to mediocre hotel, conditions were rather run down and tired.
No changing of linnen even though a large tip was left for the staff.
Overall cleanliness was ok
Faulty shower head in the bathroom
No conditioner
No sewing kit
No refill of coffee/tea
3.8
I didn't like that for 2 days they didn't clean our room
3.8
Good 4 stars hotel. Helpful personnel, good breakfast, clean room and comfortable bed. Not a best location, but not so far from main tourists sites. Some saunas in the SPA was out of order.
3.8
The hotel was great. We had no problems with our reservation, we had safe parking. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is very close to bus station, and to the center.
3.8
Not only I couldn’t use my car during my stay (because they had some issues with the parking entrance) but they made me pay twice for the parking.
Rooms are dirty and in desperate need for renovation, also the “spa” department.
Stuff do not speak local language

Breakfast was very good, but not included.

Not Nice facilities in spa and training. Bathroom old

beautiful location and river view excellent management staff
3.8
Very convenient if you are comfortable taking public transportation. Easy few minutes on train H5 to chain bridge from where you can walk around. Also we took H1 from Kelenfold when we arrived. A bit round about journey but one tram to hotel option was great.
The spa facilities are nice. Breakfast is good.

Have stayed here in 2004, early 2023 and now. Hotel has definitely decayed. Rooms are not very clean, mine had dirt stains on the wall. thewindow did not open or slose properly Spa was still on good condition though. And restaurant though slighly antiquated in furniture and decor it has a good mix of food and wines.
3.8
All was good, breakfast extraordinary
3.8
Reasonably priced and clean. Breakfast was OK. The hotel is a little old and away from the city attractions.
3.8
Very beautiful and clean hotel. Staff was very awesome and helpful. Restaurant had excellent food as well as the bar. Breakfast was amazing. Loved the staff here just exceptional service!!!
