Worst hotel in Brookfield… they pick and choose who can stay at they hotel even they have family living free

Received a friendly greeting and was asked if I'd stayed here before - (I had). The clerk explained they had new owners and were now offering a continental breakfast. My room was very clean but had a strong smell of bleach. The bed was very comfortable. I did explore the breakfast offering around 8:30 the next morning and was very disappointed (I now understood what I detected as a lack of enthusiasm about it from the clerk when I checked in). There was a selection of cold cereal. One mini muffin and 4 slices of bread was all that was left in the display case and there was no regular coffee left in the dispenser. Sadly, no employee was around to offer any service or assistance. (Not at the counter of food or at the front desk). I left with nothing.

Room furniture had greasy fingerprints, TV remote control was dirty, hair in shower drain, mold in shower grout. Breakfast basic continental. No frills. Patio furniture was a dirty table with food, paint, bird dung. Not many choices in Brookfield, Avoid it if possible.

The room was not cleaned as an used adult toy was found in my closet. When I asked for another room the staff was not apologetic about it at all. They did give me a new room but I have told my company not to book this hotel again. I do have a pic of what was in the room but I will not upload it here.

Front desk attendant was not fully trained and made several vital mistakes. I really don't want to relive the trauma. I learned to ask for a manager don't just settle for poor customer service.

Great stay for the price.

My stay was pretty good overall. The only thing I did not like was how dirty the carpet in the hallway was. It could use a cleaning and the bedding was very thin. Other than those things mentioned, my stay was good. The staff was nice and accommodating. It’s also a plus that across the street is a strip mall with Ross and dollar tree attached

Dirty. In need of updating and deep cleaning.Recommend closing, gutting the rooms and common spaces and reopening after work has been completed. There is so much to do. However, front desk person was friendly.

Not kid friendly, felt very unsafe and uncomfortable, breakfast is not included, definitely do not recommend.

Absolutely horrible experience with staff.

No Continental breakfast. Juice machine out of order, most laces include this. Swimming pool was out of order. Found small spiders in bed and on walls. Limited ice machines.

Once you look past the nice looking but cheap decor, this hotel misses the mark on cleanliness. That said, $75 for the night was a great deal. Bed was decent.

This property needs cleaning in the worst way. The carpets are disgusting, everywhere you go. They say it’s a no smoking policy but yet the entire first floor where I was staying ( room153) reaked of weed!!! The bedding wasn’t clean. There’s paint peeling from the ceilings/ walls. The free breakfast only had bagels, toast, and expired muffins, the juice was watered down, there was no milk or spoons to eat with, I decided to have at lease a piece of toast with jelly spread and the butter was frozen and the jelly was so thick it would not spread without ripping the toast in half. That’s what you get for $65.00 I suppose

We were in town quickly for a family birthday party. We arrived very late and had no problem checking in. The rooms were large and fairly comfortable.

This is our go-to place to stay in the area. No frills, quiet, comfy and a great price!

Staff were friendly on arrival and easy check in. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Only downside to a British person was no Black tea :( Breakfast was very limited but served a purpose. Would recommend.

I liked the area an our suite was good. Only thing it could of been vacuumed better

It was good overall. Cable wasn’t working and the dryer on lower level was out of servic. My family still enjoyed the stay

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast choices were pretty limited which was disappointing, but otherwise a great place to stay.

We checked in with a service animal.The front desk staff were totally untrained about ADA. They were disrespectful and asked illegal questions. A lawsuit waiting to happen.

The location was perfect for brewer's game, Zoo visit, family, shopping.

I want to preface this by saying that this is not on the staff of this hotel. It's obvious they are doing the best they can in the circumstances. This place is massively short-staffed. Check-in took forever because there was really only one person to attend to guests while the other was prepping for those coming later in the evening. We were informed there would be no housekeeping available unless we contacted the front desk by 9am. This was fine for us as we usually decline housekeeping, but it's quite obvious the lack of staff dedicated to that task hurt the overall cleanliness of the rooms. Our shower floor was filthy along with the carpet in the room and common areas. Overall it seemed like something that could be fixed, but with no housekeeping, it's going to continue to be a compounding issue. Two out of three ice machines were either out of ice or just not functioning. The pool area only had two clean towels and a laundry cart full of dirty ones next to the shelving unit. Half the channels on the tv would randomly stop having signal. This isn't the staff's fault. It's clearly somewhere that's understaffed, which in turn makes the building suffer for it, which usually means the staff has to carry the brunt of the complaints. The staff is trying, but there doesn't seem to be enough of them. If nothing changes, it's only going to get worse. I've stayed in far cheaper hotels and had tremendously better experiences. Find somewhere else to stay.

nothing to do with the Sonesta itself. The cable system leaves a lot to be desired. No fault of the Sonesta. Just my opinion.

Cable system left a lot to be desired, no fault of the venue. Staff was excellent.

I felt the foyer decor was welcoming and it had a very pleasant, subtle smell. I also liked that the rooms were cozy and comfortable. The color scheme was relaxing. A little problem with the shower and door lock, but overall it was a very nice experience.

Great stay!!

The shower had long black hair in the drain. The toilet had to be flushed twice after use. There was clumps of hair on carpet and on bathroom floor. The bed was clean, but the rest of the room was dirty .
