Centrally located. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent, but you could use a new toaster.

What a nice way place to stay. Clean modern and smelled fresh and clean.

We were upgraded to a suite when we got there which was a pleasent surprise. Dinning at the restaurant was very good, the food was excellent and the server was great.

Old but clean. Room was muggy. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Old room and hotel. Needs upgrades. Breakfast selection was small but tasty.

The property is fine. You can tell it’s aging, but they’re keeping it up. Walls are thin. Good views. Staff was nice. Didn’t appreciate the checkin staff saying guests’ room numbers aloud, which is a security risk. And no one from the staff walks the halls at night to make sure guests aren’t disturbing others.

Great location , close to casino .

We chose this hotel due to its close proximity to downtown and the wharf our fishing charter ran out of. We found the room was tight for four adults. The weather was quite hot and the rooms in the “tower” had no A/C. Parking, was shared with the neighbouring mall and sometimes difficult to find spots within the assigned areas. The staff was great, and a lot of areas had been updated. The breakfast was good but could use pancakes or waffle makers.

You couldn't get coffee without using the breakfast ticket. Also the parking was part of the mall parking.

The hotel was very nice and recently renovated except for the air conditioning. I was disappointed that all we had was a Dyson fan in our room as we were there during a heat dome.our room was large with two queen beds, tv was great and bathroom nicely renovated. The cleaning staff and front counter staff were excellent. Breakfast was included and there was a very nice hot breakfast buffet and a lovely hostess to help you. I’d stay again but maybe not in height of summer.

I would stay again. Took one star off the rating because the hot tub was not working. From the comments on google I get the impression that the hot tub is always closed, every time there's a different excuse as to why it's not working. Everything else was great. Breakfast is simple, the staff in the breakfast room are very nice, room in the tower were bright and clean. Great location, close to a few nice restaurants and breweries.

Another great stay at this hotel. The dinner we had exceeded expectations. Fresh chowder and other house made dishes were a hit. Always love complimentary breakfast the next day. Will be back again for sure!

Rated as “Good” but that is with the understanding this hotel (on a 5 star rating) is a 3 at best and on that scale it is good for what it is. Some updating but still fairly dated. Rooms have been updated and are decent. The room is quite small but still functional - bed was a queen size which was ok but clearly could not have a king size in there. Bathroom is also small. Complimentary breakfast is decent - standard scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage etc. I had the wings in the evening. Don’t order them - they are terrible. Over cooked, dry and blah! People around me that ordered dinners seemed to enjoy their food. Area is a bit sketchy if you walk a few blocks away but the night i stayed there was live music in the park beside the hotel which was well attended. For an economy hotel, it delivers on what one should expect. Not great but not terrible. For one night, it was fine. Price point is about right for this hotel. If I was staying more than one night I’d probably pay more to stay somewhere else.

The hotel is right by the harbour , great if you’ve got a boat tour booked or you’re catching the ferry and meant a lovely view of the water from the window of our room. Hotel room was clean and a good size , no air con so despite a Dyson fan being provided it did get quite warm at night, we did visit at an unusually hot time so maybe wouldn’t be a problem most of the time. House keeping always arrived quite late in the day , sometimes past 4pm so that was a little inconvenient when we arrived back before the room had been cleaned. The level of service was good though. Breakfast was ok and staff in restaurant very friendly and helpful. We were a little concerned at the population of homeless people that seemed to gather in the evening in the car park by the hotel so didn’t feel it was safe for our teen daughter to leave the hotel on her own, didn’t encounter any actual problems but it made us a little uneasy.

Rooms a bit small, especially the bathroom. Felt cramped. OK for one night but not good enough for longer stay. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. It’s just a bit basic. Would stay again for one night only if no other options.
