The ac was defect, the room was freezing and the warming system was noisy. The room was smal, very smal and there is a difference between the rooms ( the normal class rooms) they are bigger and they have even different and more quality soap and shampoo.

The cleaning ladies were lovely, always smilling and helpful.
Bed was a bit worn. The heater too warm without a possibility to turn it down.
Breakfast very nice with a large selection of food.
Hamam with broken tiles, shame.
Central location with nice restaurants around.

Faded hotel going through renovation. No air conditioning, rooms overheated and no working wifi. They did allow us to change rooms so we could open windows (was noisy, but cooler); rooms and reception areas had a smell, assuming older carpet or from when people were able to smoke indoors. Staff were very frienldy, but they have a terrible product in the hotel facilities. Breakfast was good.

Very convenient located, it;s ok - nothing very fancy, ok breakfast, but people nice, location great, all amenities on site. For the price - very good choice, Yes, parking is somewhere (we used valet, but some public place few minutes away) but valet for 28 euro per night it’s fair. I would return.

Nice hotel. Undergoing renovations so there are a few inconveniences at the moment. Staff were excellent and very helpful.

Great breakfast and location couldn’t be better. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and quiet. Parking was easy, you pull up to the hotel and they park the car.

Hands down one of the best places ive ever stayed...its so hard to find good sincere customer service these days. Not only did i find the staff at this hotel to be top notch in that field but they just really went out of their way take great care of me...especially Marjeta! She is simply amazing! Thank you so much! I will be back!

Ive stayed in the Slon Hotel several times. It is well run and the staff are courteous. The area feels extremely safe and is perfectly placed for walking around the city. The hotel is looking a but tired in places. The stairway carpets are worn and the corridors need freshening up. The breakfast room is too cramped and could be laid out in s better way. The hot drinks area is a deadend so it doesnt work. The hotel was undergoing work whilst i was there so it will be interesting to see if the breakfast situation is sorted when i next return.

The hotel is brilliantly situated. It is a little run down and definitely needs new carpets but overall it is clean and the beds were very comfortable with luxurious duvets and pillows. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our suite was brilliant and spacious for a family of 4. Highly recommend

The hotel is a strange mix of lovely (bar and foyer) and very basic in the rooms. We had no hot water for half of our stay and were offered no compensation from the hotel. Carpets shabby throughout. Bathrooms dated and shower dribbly. Breakfast was excellent but renovations in the hotel meant we had to walk through a plywood tunnel to get there! Book somewhere else at this price.

They checked us in early!!!! Awesome! But no hot water… like warm at best! Location is really good! Breakfast was decent. Room kinda old but they appeared to be renovating the hotel. Said they would comp our taxi to train station and our laundry we had done. Unfortunately we ended up paying for our own taxi? So that was another negative. The front desk employees were really nice and I do believe they tried!

I was checked into a room that had water stains all over the ceiling, an unpleasant smell and was so close to construction going on in the hotel the room vibrated. The property was so underwhelming that I left 4 days early. The only positive was the staff and the location.

The hotel needs serious renovation. Rooms are bug and beds as well but the hotel is old and not maintained. The state of the rooms do not match what you would expect for 4 star hotel. The staff is nice. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety and location of the hotel is really good too.

Beautiful Hotel in lovely city, perfectly located so you can reach by car (wallet parking) but still convenient close to the city center and all restaurants along the river. Nice large rooms, clean and with all accessories that you need, perhaps not the best views that could be available in such a nice city.

My reservation was somehow changed from a Queen to a 2 Full bed but I wasn’t informed. Fortunately the hotel was able to move me once I realized.

There was a bit of dirt in the room, when we moved our twin beds apart. Not a big issue, the room was well equipped, spacious and quiet. The breakfast was still amazing, years after I lat visited :)

We enjoyed a nice stay at this hotel. It is well located and within walking distance to the sites. Parking was difficult as there was a rally going on in front of the hotel. So, we needed to park about a 15-minute walk away. We enjoyed the nice breakfast with lots of options.

My room couldent set aircondition temperature and there was a lot of construction outaide the hotel, made it impossible to sleep, we got no help at the service counter and checked out a day early from our stay, luckily hotels.com reimbursed us. Since the hotel wasent willing.

Super central, very comfortable bed and soft beddings. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. Breakfast was a feast.
No parking on site. We found a weekend offer for 35€ but when it was time to pay they wanted to charge us 60€. 15min later, parking staff came to sort it out but we had to pay cash. Should have gone with the valet option offered by the hotel.
