The hotel exterior, common areas, and guest rooms are clean and well maintained. The guest rooms are rather small however, and the guest room corridors could benefit from renovation. Great service experience provided by courteous and helpful staff members! I'd consider staying at this property again if visiting this particular area of Miami Beach.

Excellent property, friendly staff, clean room. The only disappointment was the restaurant that did not accommodate gluten free diet. I requested that yogurt be substituted for the bread and pastries with the continental breakfast and it was declined. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

The bathroom have exhaust fan that didn’t work. We had to deal with moisture on the bathroom and the room the whole night.We were told that exhaust fan were not working on all rooms. Ac was blowing at high speed and loud so I was hard sleeping with ac on. The thermostat was hard to control even the maintenance person didn’t know how to use that. After using you tube I was able to control the thermostat but not the speed. The ac grilles were dirty and not adjustable so the ac was blowing right at your face the whole night. The bed was clean but the carpet dirty.Also the sprinkler system have dirt on them.

The location is top notch! Staff is friendly and hospitable. The rooms are clean, pricing for the mini bar are better than any bar or store! I will only stay at Winter Haven from now on! Don’t hesitate…. Book this for your next stay!

We were immediately welcomed with a glass of champagne, check in went smoothly ALSO a big plus 2 beach chairs were included in our stay which we loved. We payed extra for an umbrella. Everything was within walking distance, we loved that staff was always very attentive and helpful no matter what hour of the night it was. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

We loved staying in this hotel. Everyone in the staff was super nice. Location is amazing. The room was very comfortable. The only negative thing I have to say is that the bathroom is too small. At least it should have a cabinet under the sink to put some personal stuff. Besides that, everything was great.

The hotel is really fine. A little bit expensive for the property condition, but the location is perfect. Rooms look a little bit old, I understand de Art Deco style, but, my window was really dirty. Pictures show rooms with white curtains and headboard but the actual color is yellow-ish. The people was amazing, very kind and helpful, both hotel and restaurant. The included bike and beach towels and chairs was amazing.

Winter Haven currently is a 3-4 star property at best! Front desk and bar/restaurant staff were extremely pleasant and helpful with anything we needed. Hotels in this location are older so rooms are much, much smaller than they appear in photos. Our floor (2nd) was undergoing renovations that continued throughout our stay but looks like this will bring the property into a more modern state. Until then check out other hotels to compare rates but room sizes may all be the same.

it's a beautiful property, right in front of the ocean with lots restaurants and bars around. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were nice and clean but were smaller and no balcony.

Staff is charming… especially the bellman & front desk staff. Furniture in the room is shockingly worn for an Autograph collection property giving an overall feeling of being dirty. Airco vents needed a cleaning, in room fridge dirty on the outside, bathroom super tiny and of course being on ocean drive it was seriously noisy

The rooms were somewhat outdated and furniture "tired and worn". Carpeting in hallways appeared old/worn. I was also surprised that the $20 resort fee did not include beach chairs for all three persons in our room...only two. And we had to pay for a third. I should think it would have included all occupants of the room.

Lovely staff, hotel has style and great bones but limited amenities. Very close to the beach. Super restaurant staff with good food and drinks. The rooms are cute and well decorated but small and musty.

I'm in the hotel industry and can NOT believe the "Autograph" flag is on this property! The place is "tired" which is an understatement! A remodeled is needed immediately. Dirty, aged, along with more negative comments that I won't go into.

Never again, it was a bad choice. Dirty hotel, very small bathroom, everything else is dirty. Noice from everyone who’s staying at the hotel getting drunk all night.Terrible experience.
