We were here for one night. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious also! Check in & check out was easy !!

This little Best Western is such a gem!! Every single employee was friendly and genuinely seemed to love working there. The bed was very comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean, the view from the oceanfront room was beautiful. Breakfast was very good, too! The A/C in our room malfunctioned on our last night, and they comped us $100 for our discomfort without my asking. I would highly recommend this hotel!!

The hotel was being renovated but didn't interfere with our stay. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small pool.

Nice stay

The staff was nice but the hotel was old and very small l. Lobby was full with just a handful of people in it and this is where they serve breakfast. The pool was very small as well. The pictures of the property were very misleading. Location was nice though but on the way out we saw a few roaches in the room.

This is a nice small boutique hotel with three stories. I had an oceanfront room with a balcony on the top floor and it was perfectly clean and nice. Came with a good-sized refrigerator/freezer and coffeemaker with supplies. There is a public boardwalk between the hotel and the beach with a very convenient walkway over the dunes to the beach. Love that they're saving the dunes and all the lighting is kept dim so the sea turtles can find their way to the ocean when they hatch out and you can see stars! Be aware, though, that there were a few homeless people in the area, probably because there are public outdoor showers and they're just beach bumming, but I felt perfectly safe. All the doors into the building are accessible only with your room key except for the front desk, which is manned. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area or passing through. The only downside, really, is that the pool is by the street instead of oceanside, but no big deal. Cheap rental of nice beach chairs & umbrellas too. Only $15 for the whole day or $5 per hour.

The amenities and property were well kept. Friendly and helpful staff, always saying hello and asking how our days were. The breakfast was delicious, rooms clean and with an amazing view, right on the beach! Highly recommend and will definitely be staying again.

It was great, room clean, breakfast good, the breakfast area super clean and front desk ladies nice and friendly. Husband and I stayed 3 nights. Only thing was the mattress in our room wasn’t to firm.

Beach access

Kudos to the hotel staff. They were friendly and accommodating. They were the best part of our stay, truly great people. The property is definitely average. It’s small. Be warned, you have to pay $12 per day for parking, which is on the hotel property, not external or public parking. The rooms have window units for a/c. So the rooms stayed humid & not super cool. The breakfast was good, better than average, but it did not start until 7am. We had early appointments in Jacksonville so we were not able to enjoy breakfast the first morning we were there. The property is convenient to Jax Beach and walking distance to everything there, if that’s your cup of tea. The walk to the beach was only a short distance. There was a pop up festival going on the day we arrived, and the area was covered with people. We witnessed all manner of behavior but nothing criminal other than an inebriated man peeing on the ramp to the beach. Other than that, just the normal constant weed smell pretty much every day/night. That was not due to any fault on the hotel’s part, just the Jax Beach area, in general. We did not smell weed inside the hotel. If we return to Jax, we will most likely choose another area to stay. But this hotel was adequate for our needs for the time we had to be in the area.

I would’ve loved to see the ocean from the window!! Perhaps I didn’t.. next time I will definitely make sure I have that room!!! But everything else was fine. I will stay there again.
