Okay so as far as location in proximity to where we were going for concert was great, and their ability to check us in early was awesome, that’s about where all the good ends. They have zero vending machines in the building, and charge you 2 dollars for a bottle of water at the front desk… their onsite bar is only open 4-12 which totally makes zero sense if their “destination fee” is to be of use to absolutely anyone. hey, we have a market downstairs that you can get to if you go on a trip like the opening credits on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Oh by the way, you can’t get back to the hotel because the door you went out will lock beyond the posted hours. You have to go out in the rain and walk around the building to get back into the lobby. Don’t expect your room to be of any count either, every fixture in the room was loose including the bathroom and shower faucets (I took video for proof). There was damage to the walls, and damage to the chest of drawers that made the place feel very cheap. Comfort was also lacking unless you like your mattress with the firmness of a stone. They didn’t ask how our stay was upon checkout either. Valet also initially lost our tag and had to call our room to see what it was we drove.

Underwhelmed with hotel. Very little done to make the experience special and the rooms need a deep clean. Doors, bathroom and curtains were dirty.

Bad check in, the cards I just used for lunch and gas , was not accepted, my bank told me they need to upgrade the machine for Mastercard, we agreed the could take cash, I went to the atm behind me, here the cards worked, now they said they can’t take cash…. A other customer offered they could use his credit card. When you enter they told me in the bar , that you will have a 25 dollar voucher pr day, they did not give me this before I asked for it.. My friend had access to the membership lounge, a cold decorated room with Appel and banana a small fridge with beverages To have good breakfast I needed to go outside to a breakfast restaurant next to the hotel. I had my car in the hotel valet , when I needed my car it took 25 minutes to get it ….I had much better experience last time at the Virgin hotel in Chicago, enjoyed there rooftop bar, I can recommend that 😉

Our first downtown Chicago stay and we had a fabulous time. Clean and spacious room. Loved the decor. Fast and secure elevators. Room service was better than we expected! Very convenient location to Riverwalk and only a 20 minute walk to Chicago 360!

The hotel room was decent. The bathroom floor was outdated, there was hair on the toilet, sink, and floor. The bed was comfortable and looked clean. One of the lamp shades was broke. The customer service at the front desk was nice.
