All good except dinner service first night with the bartender waiter. He was terrible--- waited one hour to be served food, which was overpriced and not good. After that did not eat at resort restaurant again.

This property is old and outdated. The location is very difficult for transportation.

Gems proximity to a lovely the lovely BBC beach makes it very unique and wonderful stay. The food is also wonderful.

Better than I expected. I would have given it a 5 . My only con was there wasn’t any hot water. But I didn’t die, lol. Will visit again.

I have booked for 6 days, however I havea situation needs to return back home sooner than anticipate, howeverthe hotel refused to provide credit for the unused day. The hotel manager Julie, offered a future credit for the island where you would visit once in blue moon. This was very unfortunate!!

Shower did not work ( at all), money system did not work at all so could not buy at “ restaurant “ at all ( may have been a good thing!), pool unusable, room old and poor facilities, generally unwelcome and did not feel safe

Have stayed here a few times before and enjoy staying here when I can.

Gem is an older property but kept well maintained and clean. BBC beach is one of Grenada's finest beaches so the location is perfect. We enjoyed breakfasts and suppers at Sur la mar during our stay. And the staff need a special mention....good people with great attitudes and smiles. Desline will make you a delicious cocktail and you can't help but like her.

Great location for the beach in Morne Rouge... basically a 20 metre walk away.. Small apartment-type accommodation with cooker and fridge. Decor is a bit dated but spotlessly clean. Large balcony area looking out to sea (over a couple rooftops). Super helpful and friendly staff. There is a beach bar restaurant which is part of the complex and another independent one next door which a has a bit more choice. For self catering there is a supermarket about 25-30 mins walk away.
Overall we loved it and would stay again. Not sure why it only has one star on google.... it deserves better!

We had to switch hotels after experiencing a horrible stay at Reef View Pavillion Villas, and we booked Gem Holiday Beach Resort as our replacement. To our surprise, the personable receptionist (Lorraine) upgraded our room to Kalinago which offered a breathtaking beachfront room with easy access to the pool, bar and parking. Overall we had a great time, and the breakfast at Sur la Mer (their in-house restaurant) was one of the highlights of our stay. Definitely the best view I've experienced while eating breakfast.

Ample space, safe and clean. The bedroom is air conditioned but the sitting area is not. Great balcony with view. Very helpful staff. Eat at LA Plywood right across. Great food. Don't bother with the hotel restaurant. The beach in front is good. You can walk to Grand Anse Beach in 20 min. As well as a grocery. If you are picky about staying in places that are like the Raddison, don't come here. But we thought it was great. Night guard on the property. Quiet too.

There are 3 great little places to get a drink along BBC Beach. La Plywood Bar, Rocky's (only open on Sundays), and a brand new bar near Rocky's (can't remember the name)

It was practically on a lovely beach, staff are very helpful and the place is very quiet and has a homely atmosphere. Could not benefit from the upgrade offered as I needed a kitchenette to use because of my health problems and their sister property does not offer one. Second time visiting.
The kitchen inventory needs to be updated however, add larger bowls, mug and perhaps a blender.
Kudos to Kizzy and Lorraine who quickly got us settled in although we were early!

Friendly and helpful staff. The first room we stayed in felt dated, especially the bathroom. Its not near a supermarket which it makes it difficult to make use of the kitchen.

Lovely apartment on the best beach in Grenada.A little off the beaten track but perfect for a few days as we stopped off in Grenada. Staff were lovely, restaurant does good breakfasts, lunches and dinners (we had breakfast one day and lunch another). Room 4 was great for us (a couple) with a lovely sea view terrace for G & Ts at sunset.

Lorraine, Lorraine, Lorraine and Lorraine made this trip a delightful experience. She took care of everything from ordering food to tours to transportation needs. Housekeeping and resturant staff were excellent also.

Family feel 20 room hotel on the beach, friendly and the quietest and best beach on the island. They checked me in by 19AM off an early flight and gave me confirmation complimentary coffee while they checked the room over. Beautiful location 29 min walk to Anse beach or just hop on the minimus for $1 to St Georges

An affordable, welcoming place right on the most beautiful beach in Grenada. Nothing fancy, but wasn’t there for fancy. Was there for the great little beach bar and restaurant that serves the best Roti in Grenada, and the people who work there and become your friends. I love the Gem nd its staff. 5 time visitor.

My stay was relaxing after the carnival. The people are exceptionally nice and friendly, the beach is very clean and the water is very warm ni matter what time of the day. My only problem is that they charge you service charge plus vat on the food. I think that service charge should be your choice. But overall i love the place and will stay there another time while vacationing in Grenada.
