We were very impressed with the Airways property. The lobby, room and restaurant were very nice. Also, we had a staff member show us how to get to the fitness center (it was a little hard to find at first). Once there, a fitness center staff member showed us around. It is amazing! There is a spacious weight room with lots of free weights & machines, outdoor tennis court, indoor ping pong court, indoor squash court, wet and dry saunas in the men's and women's locker rooms, and an outdoor lap pool. The only 2 items we had issue with were 1. someone had stuffed a tissue in our room's door latch so that it did not latch (thankfully we noticed right after arrival and we told the front desk), 2. Some fruit was spoiled at the restaurant salad bar. The rest of the food at the restaurant was great and we really enjoyed the time at the Airways Hotel; we'll definitely be back again.

Great stopover hotel when traveling through POM. I utilized Airways as a day hotel, which they easily accommodated. Airport transfers were simple, quick, and professional. Same for check-in and check-out. The Bacchus room was spacious and all traveler amenities were provided. A great place to spend a long layer!

Customer Services was the best. The Restaurant is the best the buffet was Delicious. the Service provided was excellent. I look forward to taking my family for Christmas Holiday.

I've never had a hotel room with a doorbell before! Staff were always very courteous and helpful, food good and wide breakfast selection to choose from. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Ecellent stay I had; the staff were all friendly, cheerful, helpful, the food was good, the bed very comfy, lots of hot water, good aircon. In fact one could pinch a line from a well known song "who could ask for anything more?".

The adjoining doors between rooms are not sound proof, could hear the guy next to me talking and snoring all night. I had to knock on his door to ask him to keep it down as I had to be up at 4am. Equally I had to tip toe around at 4am not to wake him up. Really disappointing as it ruined my sleep as I had 20 hours of traveling to do. Nice hotel but that was so disappointing.

Unfortunately, I was given a room under the Conference Centre which was being refurbished so the noise from 8.30AM was terrible.
They did change my room and then realised that it also would be too close to the renovations and then found me another room. However, it was not available until after 12.30PM, so a greatly disrupted morning.
I always stay at the Airways, and have been happy. I just cannot understand why in the first place they chose the room that they did ?

I’ve stayed here many times, all have been good. This time not so good, mould in the bathroom, no hot water, extremely noisey ground floor with internal hotel car park traffic, no chain lock for the door, I felt unsafe and did not sleep well, I did not receive requested wake up call. When I mentioned on checkout, I was told that most people don’t like the ground floor on that wing. I travel for work as do my staff, I will be reconsidering Airways for my future stays.

Close to airport. Room clean. Bacchus room just average. Air con and ceiling fan didn't work - room was very hot with only heavy bed cover. Shower sprayed water all over floor.

Wonderful location so close to airport and friendly shuttle service with our many heavy bags. Top floor restaurant has glorious view and food is superb. Rooms with ultra modern bathrooms.

Our stay was wonderful. Even though our room was in the Bacchus Wing which is an annex to the main building, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Above all, staff at all levels were exceptionally polite and friendly, and keen to help. The hotel has an excellent fitness centre and wonderful dining options with various facilities available throughout the day, and the location is particularly convenient for the airport. We would definitely stay there again.

The very highlight of our stay with them was that they upgraded us to a bigger and better room for the same rate we were paying for the original booked room. They were very polite and our room was just wonderful. We woule stay there again? No doubt!

Airways is an older quality hotel; the old rooms are showing the age but still it is an old well-known brand for a stopover for a night before your flight it is great no hotels in Port Moresby are value for money but at least at Airways it is consistent, and you have options for inhouse dinning and bars. But be warned it is not a budget
