Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Hotel was close to the train station. No laundry service but there was a 24 hour laundromat within 5 minutes of waking. Would stay again if ever back in Sendai.

It's hard to write a review about hotels in Japan because the service is always good. Wonderful staff who were very accommodating and patient with my poor Japanese.

Just average clean and small business hotel just as you can imagine. I didn’t encounter any problem in this hotel. Not much anything around the hotel. Major annoyance is that I had to walk to and from Sendai station for 7 days and it took approx. 7-8 min. Next time, I would get hotel closer to station.

The hotel is opposite side of walking street.You have to get out from Sendai station by East Exit , walk down the escalator to the ground floor and turn right. Just 5 mins walk. Hotel staff is friendly. Room is quite spacious for big luggage. Varieties of Japanese and western breakfast are great. Convinient store is pretty close to hotel but not a big one.

I ask for a bottle of water, and hotel manager said I must a member of holiday inn. I travel a lot of many places and this hotel is only one asking for membership and provide a bottle of water.

wish there’been more lighting. The room was quiet dark I can’t even read books. The only thing could complain though. And the scene outside the window is just another building so do not expect too much.

The overall experience is great. However, the room is a little bit small. The location and breakfast are great for me.

A little annoying how there was no way to indicate to staff that we weren’t interested in room cleaning/bed-making (i.e. “Do Not Disturb” sign), since I feel slightly less at-home and secure when I know someone has wandered into our room to change things.

The hotel was considerably more spacious than an average hotel in Japan. The staff were nice and helpful and the breakfast tasty. There is an additional charge for the breakfast buffet but if you order it the night before, you'll get a discount (ca. 30%). To sum up, the hotel was an excellent choice for the night in Sendai.

With on line reservation, things need to be more clear of what we expect. We've made reservation with three people but we only got two twin beds and no roll in bed. Only got two sets of towels two pillows. No indications of smoking or none smoking. I'm glad I called ahead of the time and was was able to change into none smoking room. Pricy for family trip of three.

It is a little away from Sendai station, there is about 5-6 minutes walk from Sendai station to the hotel, but it was not difficult to find. Google map does very good job also. The hotel maintain the US holiday inn standard, hence there is no surprise. One thing to mention is that for $10 extra, the breakfast is definitely a deal! I would also recommend to get yokoso data sim. It is so reliable, good price, and no worry to ship wifi router back/forth.
