The hotel is like a little resort with beautiful gardens. Each room has a hammock outside and there’s a very peaceful feeling to it. The bed was super comfortable (more comfortable than certain 5stars hotels I stayed in) and the pool is nice and clean, facing the water. The staff was very helpful with finding good restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for the quality/price.

The facilities at the property were excellent. The pool area was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was well presented. The staff were very helpful and I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Bed was super comfy. Property was beautiful and well taken care of. The morning beñreakfast was yummy with a friendly staff and the bar had reasonably priced beer. Would definitely return.

Convenient location, niceplace, easy parking, no problems at all.

We were only at this hotel for a night while we stopped over on our road trip from Rio to Sao Paulo. We were very well received and the staff was friendly. The hotel itself is basic but charming. The location is great with a short walk to old town and even the nearby beach.

Great location! Other reviews talked about the wifi not working in the rooms but they have fixed this problem. Wifi works great! Excellent breakfast!

Surprisingly great! Get a 1 st floor room and enjoy a cuppa on the large balcony watching the canal activity. Most of the pousadas have no aspect/view with high walls enclosing them from outside, so we soon realised why people walking on the otherside of the canal were taking photos of the pretty pool and green gardens setting of the Corsario. 5 mins walk to bus station, and 5 mins walk to the busy old town to go to bars and restaurants. Simple but perfectly fine breakfast, they make fried eggs if you ask. Great value.

The hotel has a great location - very close to the bus station and the old town. The garden, pool, and river view are great. Breakfast is very good, and the breakfast room overlooks the river. The only problems: Room decor is "rustic". The AC is noisy. No WiFi connection in the room - you have to go sit near the pool. No English channels on the TV. Other than that we enjoyed our stay in Paraty and in this hotel, and I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms do not have good air conditioning, lighting is not good. Also, rooms do not have good cable channels very few and do not offer the main tv channel in Brasil (Globo). At the check in they do not provide your sales receipt ahthough I asked for it.

The hotel is located 2 blocks from the main street Av Roberto Silveira and 5 blocks from the Hististoric Downtown (centro histórico). The staff is ok, but the best of this place is an awesome and very kind lady called Laury, she is always in good mood and offers and excellent service. The breaksfast is a buffet: eggs, diferents kinds of cheese and breads, coffee, juicie and cereals, really good! You can relax in the pool and have a nice view to the canal. Also have a sauna working from 17 till 19 hours (not extracharge) The wifi only works in the common areas. The hotel have also a parking space.

Everything was great. I loved the location of the pool by the river and the room I chose was spacious and relaxing. My only fault with the hotel was the wifi reception. It only works when you are in the restaurant or near the hotel reception area. It never worked in my hote room.

Approach to hotel may not be so appealing, but once you are inside the grounds you are in a tropical garden along a river with individual cabins, great setting, very romantic. Has nice pool with deck and numerous hideouts to enjoy the gardens.
