Lovely terrace room overlooking the course. Great bed pillows linen. Would prefer walk in shower as bath seemed high to step into . Pool very nice . Sunbed mattress very late morning they would appear not sure why the man did not bring them out in one go as beds plastic. Breakfast if you were expecting a hot breakfast it was poor 4 heated trays which the food was warm. Cold breakfast was nice hams cheese , pastries , fruit but felt it should have been better for the standard of the hotel . Golf course excellent . Taxi always very easy to get . Beach 15 mins walk but worth it not busy even though was a weekend . Not great choice of restaurants nearby so we got a taxi into central Alicante 15 euros there you have the choice of so many places . Overall a very nice stay

The condition of the room is slightly old and a bit "broken"
The hairdryer is old - and the balcony door seemed to be broken, as there was a "pestillo" on the floor to open it and close it (To be honest, I guess this is the fault of previous guests being uncivil and breaking the room).

Visited a couple of times. Lovely hotel. Very convenient location. Comfy beds. Friendly, helpful staff. Food excellent. Pleasant rooms and outlook.
There are restricted opening times for the restaurant near the pool and construction works in progress. These need warnings before booking. Also, all weekend, weddings and celebrations are plentiful resulting in restaurant closure and pool closed. Again, prewarning required. Not good enough to just be told the night before!

Nice facility but not exactly 4 star service - ie: they forgot to reserve golf tee times for my playing partners who were also hotel guests even though they had prepaid and were issued vouchers which was a bit charotic when we checked into the golf course. Also wanted to take a shower after a round of golf only to discover housekeeping didnt leave any towels that day. And the used toiletries arent restocked every day. Not Impressed.

Hotel Alicante Golf was a marvelous oasis in a busy touristy area. The staff was so friendly, efficient, accomodating, spoke English, and very helpful. The hotel was very classy, modern, comfortable in every way, the room wonderful, comfy clean bed, immense lux towels, great shower, and a restaurant woth flexible hours, delicious food & service, and an outdoor terrace with a lovely view. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely return.

Reception was quick easy and helpful, the room we were in overlooked the golf course, but not enough wall sockets, and problems with connecting to internet, which took 24 hours to resolve.
Bathroom clean and fluffy towels, but a wide lip to get in to the over head shower in the bath, additional hand holds might be better, or just a walk shower.
Breakfast ok.
Pool did not open until 10 am and closed at 7.30 which seems very strange in the height of summer.
We booked for dinner, a very helpful waitress (Jacqueline) served us, very enjoyable experience.
Overall enjoyable, but the hotel needs some TLC.

This is a big hotel but there seemed to be few guests. Nobody smiled. It was either just opening again having been closed or was about to close. No food available in the big bar but the pool bar served food till late.
Breakfast was poor and uncomfortable.

A reasonable location for this established hotel. This review reflects the value I feel was offered. Comfortable, quiet, friendly and with a lovely pool to enjoy, I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel rooms did not look the same as in the advertised pictures. Room stayed in wasn’t very clean and below standards for the hotel rating. Had no air-conditioning for 4 days and was only their for 5! Upgraded to another room after first night because one first given was shabby and dated. Was surprised to see that the upgraded room was very similar to first. Would not stay in this hotel again. The golf course itself was lovely and the views from the balcony room to the golf course were wonderful.

The hotel was on beautiful grounds and local enough to different restaurants, beach and the tram station. The room was very basic, shocked to find no complimentary shampoo but has shower gel. We chose their breakfast on the first morning which we paid additional for, to find the breakfast was appalling. We had cold eggs, beans and bacon. Bread was ok. This put us off having dinner there, but that was not a problem as there were many restaurants close by which you could go to. Overall location and their customer services was perfect, shame about the food.

The location is excellent: close to the main streets with the bars, shops and restaurants, 10 min walk to the beach. Great territory and a good pool.
However, the hotel has seen its better days, the current management does not care about the hotel maintenance or its 4 start image at all: worn out carpets in the halls, cracks and dents on the walls. The chars on the balcony were old and almost completely sun burnt and shaky.
Continental breakfast for EUR15 was poor and you have to come early to get a table and food. Probable a 3 star, but far far way from 4 star installations..

I stayed here 4 years ago and I liked it that’s why I stayed here again. Found the rooms needing an uplift took 3 days to have someone fix the security lock. Never did get the air condition if fixed. We’re not customer service friendly It’s too bad as it’s a nice property and close to everything

Only criticism would be that they closed the pool bar for a private function all day so had a long walk up to reception to get a drink or use toilet

Furniture needs tlc, some furniture threadbare. Electricity in 1st bedroom was dangerous and faulty. Wiring joined to bedside light [ room 214] with insulating tape where the on/off switch should have been located. Bar staff inexperienced. Service very very slow. A charge of €12 to indoor pool. The poolside bar had a charge of €25 per head for lunch on arrival because there was a private birthday party on.

Nothing to say negative about the hotel,I enjoyed my stay there dry friendly staff very clean.The room was large and clean but the tv was too small and the fact that there was no shower it made it difficult for me to climb in and out of the bathtub but I have no hesitation to stay there again
