The room was billed as a Lake View but all you could see was the top of the tree. The lady at Reception was very rude and disrespectful. We could here the noises from the room next door, which kept us up for most of the night. Our room was also not 100% clean and had a strong cigarette smell, despite being listed as non smoking. Will not come back here

We had the most amazing 1 night stay at one of our favourite places. The service was top notch from start to finish. Marielle(reservations) patiently listened and tried to accommodate my requests, check in was efficient as was check out (Elizabeth is the most gracious receptionist) and the lake facing rooms (our favourite) were spotless. Kulani, the golf cart driver who took us to our spa treatment and could also take us across to the farm, was such a pleasant, friendly soul. Jacques(the manager) was hands on, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was divine. This is definitely the place to destress, relax and unwind and we will definitely be back.

Our stay was amazing. My husband and I just wanted a little quiet time away from home. The room was good. The surroundings were quiet and we had a lovely walk around and popped into Irene farm as well. We had a lovely dinner and everyone was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a quiet time away in the city

A wonderful stay. This after lockdown and things started opening up. Had the perfect room where the kids could play infront of our unit. Complimentary massages, kids movie night and welcome drinks.

I decided to stay here as its close to all attractions around Pretoria and there is so much to do in and around Irene. I was not dissapointed. The lakeview from the room was really amazing and the kids loved the fact that hey could see all the ducks geese and birds from the room.The kiddies pool didnt look well maintained and the adult pool at the spa was Adults only so didnt end up using the pool.The Dairy Farm which is accessible form the hotel was also a bonus for the kids.Overall my experience was pleasant and the service was good.

I would have given this location all 5 rating but on the first morning of my stay there was construction going on just outside of my door. It was loud. The workers getting dressed, preparing for work, were loud. The construction vehicles were loud. The noise start at 0700 am. Requested room relocation. Hotel was very accommodation, including upgrading my accommodations.

A very pleasant stay but the food variety is limited.

We stayed here twice before and the accommodation and staff is great. What is not so great is the pricy menu and the quality of food and presentation in the restaurant. We expected more and better presentation of the food at the high cost when compared to other high end restaurants in the area.

We had high expectations on arrival but were disappointed overall.The hotel occupies a lovely situation. ReceptionStaff were very pleasant and attentive throughout but there were too many issues. We had booked a lake view room but could barely see the lake. When we complained we were shown other rooms with no view until finally a room as specified was provided. However it immediately became obvious that there was an issue with a very noisy bathroom fan so we had to change rooms again. When my wife went to use the ironing board next day it collapsed and because the iron is permanently attached to it her arm was badly bruised for 5/6 days.The ironing board was acknowledged to be defective and taken away but no one apologised for the hurt or inconvenience over the 2 day stay. When checking out I indicated that our stay had been marred by these incidents but was largely ignored. Bar food was just acceptable.This standard of service is not in line with a 5 star provision. Management appear to take a back seat.

Forest side suite with sound of birds was private and relaxing. You can see other cars and buildings so not completely a natural view but the setting is still very nice. Furnishings were of good quality, every amenity that I needed, a deep and large bath tub that allowed a good soak. Underfloor heating in bathroom. Very comfortable king size bed. Service everywhere in the hotel was excellent, especially bar. Food quality was good. I would recommend the hotel and would stay again at a reasonable rate. I felt I received value for money this trip.
