Spiders in room. Shower had no place to put soap etc. no grab rails in shower. Toilet paper holder is broken. Carpet in room has stains. Hall carpet was filthy. We have stayed here over the past 3 years. And enjoyed it. However it has gone downhill to the point where we can’t go back.

Terrible run-down hotel and wayyyy too expensive for the quality. I feel uneasy about using this app for future bookings as the pictures etc on the app made the hotel seem way better than what it was.

Stayed there with my cat one night and tv did not work. Made a reservation for 2 weeks later and at check in was told no cats allowed. Nothing said about that in their pet policy. Had to find a different hotel after being on the road for 9 hours. No apology.

Overnight for our anniversary was good

This wasn’t the worst place to stay, but we definitely felt like sketchy activity happens here. The Hotel is like entering an abandoned 1980s luxury hotel. The stairwells are carpeted and have cigarette burn holes and are really dirty. The rooms are subpar, I’ve stayed in motels better than this. The bedside wall lamps were 6 feet above the bed, the shower didn’t have any shelving to place soaps. The keys deactivated themselves. Overall just a rundown hotel with no upkeep.

Enjoyed the faux inside gardens because the outside gardens I remember from 60 years ago are gone. The room was organized well loved the very comfortable bed and pillows. Staff vacuumed and provided clean towels as requested. Like having the bed made without changing the sheets for 3 nite stay-comforting somehow. Aging hotel needs new hallway carpeting. They are horrible giving bad first impression and thankfully a wrong impression. Pleased Fitness Center provided enough equipment for vacation exercises . Robust coffee provided in foyer seemingly always. Happy they accept dogs for $25. per day but the walking area a bit sad. Glad I chose Salvatore's.

The suite we booked was NOT cleaned so we were put in a small room with the bathroom sink in the bedroom that created uncomfortable situations and not acceptable. We were told it was the only room with two beds. Extremely dissatisfied as it was a special occasion and we hardly slept due to ac noise. It’s very unacceptable that the queen suite wasn’t cleaned and we were put in a basic economy room if that. This hotel should have put us in a suite at their other close locations.

Nice hotel, convenient and comfortable.

I think there were boogers on the wall and the whirlpool tub could use a bit more umph, but the bed was super comfortable. We had a voucher for $10 off our order at the cafe which was supposed to be open until 10 or 11. It was closed before that so we couldn’t get breakfast there which wasn’t cool.

Aging hotel in need of a deep cleaning. Our shower was apparently draining through the floor because after my shower the carpet was wet and disgusting all around the bathroom

Great for a first trip to the area! Partner and I enjoyed our time and the room was very well maintained.

For a hotel charging what they do, not having a complementary toothbrush for a guest needing one is ridiculous! And, on top of that, trying to sell them one! Not sure what they did to their pillows but they are 10-12” high rocks. Both abandoned using them during the night but still woke with neck pain. Weird stuff floating in the jacuzzi after the jets were turned on. Not at all what we expected…

Decent place for a resting spot. Pet friendly is a plus.

Not very clean. Fingernail on jacuzzi. Dirty washcloth on back of door. Not well vacuumed. Nice bed though. Except pillows not very comfortable.

Love this hotel. I love the staff. My issue was the last room I stayed in when I asked to be moved closer to the front door. The location of the room was perfect for me but the room itself was a disappointment. Im hoping it was a mistake, maybe it was a room that is on a list to be updated? I put in several service requests at front desk. The hatch lock was broken in half, I had no room phone (I asked 4 times and nobody brought me one), there was no cell service in this corner of the hotel, I couldnt open the curtains because it was right by the dinning room, and all the rooms have always been super clean but this room needed to be vacuumed, my feet were black the moment I took off my shoes, the only wall hook I had was coming out of the wall. The walls and counters had blue and pink handprints so I washed the walls myself by the 3rd day, the hot tub drain was broken and it wouldn't fill so I never got to use it the whole 3 weeks I was there. I missed every virtual meeting because the wifi never worked in this room. I walked in stepping in smalls nails, hair pins, candy on the floors. My nightstand handle was missing, the only chair I had was old and stained. Dust everywhere. I brought my own toiletries due to my sensitive skin, soap, washcloths and towels but they were all accidently taken when housekeeping came in, my bed was so uncomfortable. I miss the free breakfast although the kitchen staff is amazing!! I never got my 2 other voucher for free $10 torwards breakfast.

We have been coming to The Garden Place Hotel for 25 years. My opinion is that the hotel is very clean and the staff are always courteous. We always feel safe, however, we could not drop the temperature in our room to the desired temperature. Our mattresses were horrible. Great place but it needs a refresh!

The floor was disgusting, there was no hot water, the power went out for maybe 1 or 2 hours, so there was no ac causing it to be very hot in the room, our car got towed at the hotel parking lot and the staff was not very helpful, never experienced an hotel that randomly cuts of hot water. It’s very terrible and I would not recommend.
