We went down to reception to ask for a extra towel and blanket
The lady at reception commented house keeping close and will find and bring to room but did not arrived
We also found room to be unclean, on the side table there was a dry contact lens and dust on the furniture
We also commented to the receptionist in the morning about our disappointment but nothing to help

Good location within minutes walk from the metro station, clean and spacious room. However hotel is a bit dated, bathroom and balcony in particular could use a refresh. Cushion on the couch had a hole in it. Balcony also faces onto the main road so we did not end up using it. Hotel bar did not have the right ambience with harsh lighting, tinny music, and fruit flies. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice rooms, everything very comfortable. Wifi was good in the room. Easy walking distance to the new Metro, and less than 25 minutes to the CBD. Breakfast buffet was good, with the only negative being the scrambled eggs were awful powdered eggs. Eggs could be cooked to order though.

It’s not unusual to receive good customer service from one of two employees but this was amazing. I interacted with at least 7 staff who all made me feel welcome and couldn’t do enough to help me. This is across 4 departments. Senior management deserve recognition for well trained team.
FYI, I’ve stayed away for all most 100 nights this year in multiple countries so I know the difference!

Excellent location with easy parking. Room and bath are fine. The coffee at breakfast is a disappointment.

Booked and paid for a double room with balcony was given a room with no balcony. Later when asked we paid for a room with balcony was told sorry they are all booked out. We had made bookings weeks prior to staying there unsure why still charged for dearer room with no compensation

We had a convention and the noise outside the room disturbed us in the room all the time. Could not turn the lights off at front of room to be able to see the presenters slides well at the back of the room

We have stayed at the Courtyard many times as it’s a great location if you are driving leaving the car and catching a train to the city. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a great size. Breakfast is the standard buffet style but adequate plenty of choice. We got upgraded on this trip which was lovely. Another great stay. Thank you.

We have stayed at the Courtyard many times as it’s a great location if you are driving leaving the car and catching a train to the city. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a great size. Breakfast is the standard buffet style but adequate plenty of choice. We got upgraded on this trip which was lovely. Another great stay. Thank you.

The room I’ve booked in had issues with the bathroom… as the water was flooding the shower area and we informed the receptionist.. but they said that they tried calling me to change the room but I’d not got any missed calls… very bad experience as it was really disgusting to use the shower as the water did not drain away as we were a family of 4 we had a very hard time using the bathroom…

Have stayed here a few times and we do like it… it’s affordable, easy parking and clean. The worst thing has to be the other guests!!! They were all so loud and obnoxious. We had to move twice at breakfast due to loud people and them being in our space. The staff need to police this a bit better for the others. Also it took ages for the staff to bring fresh food out at breakfast. We waited ages.

What a tired hotel, with the cheek to charge more than$300 pn!! Lino floors, few toiletries, shower over the bath. I only stayed here because of proximity to my work, but will tell my organisation to find another hotel.

This hotel is run down. Not worth the money at all. Restaurant and bar was close that night. Hotel room was old, smelly and not hotel standard. The breakfast the next morning was so horrible. The food was cold. Couldn’t wait to leave

Great location with only a 5 min walk to access the Metro. Clean building and clean room. Even though the room faced Lane Cove Road, the traffic noise was very low. Breakfast buffet was very good but staff cleaning tables were very selective on the tables they cleared (waited for tables to be empty before clearing them) and when cleaning tables one staff just wiped all food scraps onto the floor. Not what you expect to see at any hotel, never mind a Marriott. We were overcharged for breakfast even though we had booked it for 4ppl for 2 days when we checked in and it had to be corrected at checkout. Otherwise it's a good hotel to stay at.

On arrival the check in staff were so friendly and gave our little one treats and toys. Nicely sized room and bathroom. We stayed in 528 and main issue was the bathroom dial for shower/bath broken so shower pressure was lower because bath tub tap opens at the same time. Our son fell and bumped his head and the staff were very helpful, brought ice and came to check on him. Breakfast was lovely and the included barista coffee and egg options were great! Wish they replenished the buffet items more frequently and had halal meat option. Microwave available in lobby was very handy too.

I’d say average for a hotel at /$229 a night. At least upgrade the tv’s in the room to a more modern tv. May seem picky but if your chasing 5 stars, it’s the little things that matter.
