The property was in a great location with a bus stop right outside the front door. Room rates were very affordable. The breakfast was TOP NOTCH! I would stay there again without hesitation.

The hotel was great, Great Breakfast, excellent service and great location. The only improvement you could suggest is the working hours of the gym facilities. I liked training in the morning, but unfortunately, the gym was not open before 10:00.

The hotel should be 2 stars. no activities are working (gym, salt room) rooms are so small you can't move inside no room service, no dry cleaning, no iron

Fabulous breakfast, this time we didn’t have time for salt cave. It is about 20 minutes walk to old center, 10 minutes to bus station.

Great place! Superb family room, save parking in front of the hotel (15€ per night) nice winebar besides and the free salt cave was cool. The Hotel has long tradition, you could easily film an old film inside the lobby. Just one elevator is definitely not enough when everybody checks out and all come down with luggage from the 5th floor.

Service Zero. I do not recommend. We arrived at the hotel at 13:30. Since it was not 14.00, they did not check-in and kept them waiting. Room furniture and bed width were nice. That was the only positive side. Negative issues are: There is no insulation on the walls. Husband and wife in room 424 fought many times at 12 am and 7 am, and their voice was in our room. Another negative is that the ventilation in the bathroom was broken and it was working loudly until the morning. The receptionist came and said I'll be back in 5 minutes and left. When he didn't come even though it was 10 minutes, I went down to the reception. It turns out that the officer in question finished his work 5 minutes ago and left. A second receptionist came and looked at the malfunction and advised us that instead of giving us a new room, the sound stops when the key is cut, and remove the key. Well, when you remove the key, the whole room becomes dark. TV and lights not working. Our day was a nightmare. I will make a negative comment. He didn't care when I said it wouldn't be served this way. The breakfast was lousy. There were neither olives nor cheese varieties. There was a kind of cold bleach. We couldn't eat the egg made where they cook the pork either. We were hungry. I do not recommend this hotel. I suggest you stay at the hotel closer to the train station and historical places.

Great - Room on a smaller size but very clean and quiet, excellent breakfast buffet, super friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again. Improvement opportunities - rooms overheated. Difficult to regulate heat. Not all light fixtures worked. No USB ports for charging devices.

Second time , well satisfued , some receptionists are more helpful than others, one told us we could pay extra 25e for late checkout, when went to pay in the morning she said its not possible, When we told her that night receptionist told us that it is possible, she than said yes! and let us pay

Nice place.

Really smart reception area, lovely staff, comfy modern room with great TV options. Everything spotless and the little road it is on is ideal for say Hockey or a walk to the town Centre, with a few nice bars and restaurants nearby.

Very good hotel, somewhat worn but clean. Friendly and helpful personnel. About 40 minutes walk from old city, and no public transport to use without changes.

A little disappointing after we had stayed before with more positive reults. Wifi was not good. Unable to work because of unstable signal and no TV for english only CNN... for a hotel in the centre of a capital city these issues are a reason not to return again

Hotel Apollo is a very pleasant place to spend time in beautiful Bratislava.It's an old style hotel.The room is spacious and clean with large,comfortable bed.Free safe.Small refrigerator.TV.Bathroom with bathtub.Rooms on the last floor have balconies.In the front-bus stops.Conveniently located within easy reach of Bratislava's tourist attractions.Breakfast is served in stylish restaurant,very tasty,form of a buffet.There is a hot food buffet as well as cheeses,meats,cereals,fruit,veg,bread,coffee,tea,juices.Delicious hot pancakes,cakes-carrot,gingerbread,fruit gluten-free.It's worth mentioning that the buffet was refilled all the time by the Staff,even shortly before the end of breakfast,nothing was ever missing.The Staff very pleasant and smiling.Dinner in restaurant-delicious food,great wine,very pleasant service.We recommend venison,you can feel good taste and professionalism of the Chef.Room service with a good selection of food and drinks at an affordable price.Cleaning Ladies are present on the premises of the hotel every day,everywhere clean and pleasant.There was no problem with printing travel documents at the reception,which makes your departure day much easier.The location of the hotel is in a quiet and safe place with easy access to the airport,even by city bus.It's close to the Old Town,Bratislava Castle,SNP Bridge.To sum up,we highly recommend staying at the Apollo Hotel,delicious breakfast,friendly Staff,good location,as well as Bratislava itself.

Great walking distance to the center.

Najpohodlnejšia posteľ akú som kedy v hoteli zažila. Veľmi milý a ochotný personál, všetko bolo čisté. Raňajky sme vynechali, takže neviem posúdiť, iba by som do minibaru dala aspoň 2 fľašky vody (nie iba 1), ale to je iba detail. Určite sa vrátime!

We had a great stay, the staff and service was fine, the rooms were cosy and clean, even though the furniture is a little bit outdated, the buffet breakfast was very good with a large variety including gluten free options which we very much appreciated as well as the dining options at the hotel restaurant. The only drawback is the location, it is slightly far from the old city center, around half an hour walk.
