It was our first time staying in an authentic cabin. The cabin was rustic but comfortable. The grounds had nice hiking trails. The general store and restaurant were a bit pricey but not outrageous.

Well kept cabin! Only complaint was the shower was tiny.

This was a large cabin with three beds, each tucked into a corner which left the rest of the cabin empty. No table. No couch. Just a couple of chairs stuck up against a wall. No dorm room fridge, no small microwave. No sink, dishes or utensils. Why there is such a large empty space is weird. But the place has no competition so it does what it wants.

Colter Bay is a nice location. Not a lot of food options. Nice village atmosphere. Cabins were clean and comfortable.

Is a cost-effective alternative to nearby Signal Mountain and Jackson Lake Lodges. Rustic cabins with the essentials. Clean and tidy. Has heater, but if don’t use, dress warm.

The beds alone were worth the price, best beds on our 10 day trip. Clean and quaint, lovely cabins.
Beware of close restaurant, (walking distance) I’m sure prison food would be better.

If someone wants a rustic experience without in room Wi-fi, television, microwave, refrigerator,or air conditioning then this would be the place to be. Nothing on your site informed us it would be this rustic. In addition to the notice in the room to be careful of open food in the cabin because of mice and rats, we decided to leave the next morning forfeiting a day that was already paid ($300.00). It was worth it to us to pay for that night in a different hotel.

THe check in was fine, staff were friendly and helpful. THe buildings are old, beds were bad. Just really could use refreshing. I love the old cabin feel, just wish it wasn't really old and out of date.

Great place, very charming cabins with historic character. Unbeatable location, right in the heart of Grand Teton national park - easy walk to restaurant/bar serving Colter Bay. Conveniently located to gas station in park, and just a few miles from Snake River for wildlife viewing. Only real downside is parking is surprisingly tight among all the cabins (and some guests are really inconsiderate about how they park), would love to see a few more parking spaces.

Room cool it was a cabin with a bath added. No tub but had a shower. Had a bag stolen from our car. Left a window open to take our dinner inside and in less then 30 sec when I came back to the car to lock it up the bag was gone. Just remember even if you don’t see anyone always lock your car before you leave even if it’s just seconds. This was the only negative thing that happened here.

My goodness, colter bay was a dream! The room was very clean and bed sheets and towels were great quality! We only stayed one night here on our roadtrip but it was a very nice property

Loved everything about this property. The cabin was adorable, spacious, comfortable. Location was excellent, short walking distance from shopping and restaurants. Surroundings around cabin were beautiful. The restaurant menu options were plentiful and service was prompt and friendly.

Location is great, atmosphere is excellent. We will be back.

Loved our little studio style cabin at this huge campground on Colter Bay. Check in was quick, staff friendly & helpful. The cabin was quaint, clean & quiet. The a/c was more a fan & these cabins don't have a small fridge. But we were only staying 1 night.
