This property was very beautiful. It is like staying in a bohian treehouse. The front desk team was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was included, and of our 4 mornings we ate breakfast only one was ok. There was a waiter Cece who just did not want to be there - the first day I asked twice for water and she did not come back for over 30 minutes after dropping the toast, with no water, so we left. She also did not go over how the breakfast works - you get fruit, granola and toast included AND then you can choose one item on the menu as well. The pastries are 45 pesos each but well worth it. The last day I ordered water, and she brought out a bottle, Cece did not ask preference or go over cost. The water was more than $5usd! I figured I knew all the secret charges of breakfast by now, but Cece liked to keep me guessing I guess. She also sat on her phone drinking one of their juices while our toast sat on the bar for at least 10 min (they dropped the other order at the table next to us immediately), I told her we did not need cold toast and her male counterpart said they could not guarantee it was not cold... ok, I still am not enticed by the cold toast I watched sit by her on the counter. They also never brought our fruit and granola I ordered. This was the only issue we had at this resort and it was SO FRUSTRATING because it was the start to each day. For such a high end place focused on service, every teammember needs to be on board for clear execution.

Incredibly disappointed in this hotel and experience. It is truly a scam and incredibly upsetting. The images on the website and Hotels.com are different than the rooms in reality. A very upsetting end to our honeymoon.

Beautiful Property with wonderful staff. Breakfast was awesome and the beach was beautiful. Not a lot of "extras" in terms of coffee in room and mini bar etc but the rooms were simple, beautiful and very clean. You can;t beat the beachfront location!!

Had a great stay! Perfect location on the beach, walking distance to all the shops and downtown. On the pretty side of beach, pool was beautiful, perfect beach set up, with plenty of room between seating. Clean, provided water - not always the case in other hotels. Overall great stay - would come back!

We loved everything about this hotel! It is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is done in a very tasteful way. The food is delicious and very refined. The staff was great. Everything felt very safe and healthy. The beach is beautiful, the location is great: very close to town but still quiet. I am already looking at booking our next stay there!

You can hear everything in the rooms. Bring ear plugs. I had to drag my suitcases to my room. We were not offered a welcome drink. The first night we stayed in the ocean front first floor room right next to the restaurant. People can look into the room and you can hear everything. The bathroom window can be seen from the upstairs bar. No privacy. Sargasm is on the beach. The resort should try to clean it up. The Front desk staff is young and inexperienced. Our stay improved after a few days. We’ll go to Tulum next time, where the roads are paved and beaches are clean.

Casa Las Tortugas is a magical place of peace, calm and serenity in a beautiful, tropical beach location. Truly barefoot luxury — a wonderful, friendly and helpful staff, fine rooms, delicious food and comfortable amenities. The whole island was relaxed and welcoming. We will definitely be back for another visit!

Casa Las Tortugas IS the best hotel on Holbox. The place is beautiful, the food is amazing, the staff are very friendly. The price is high, but you definitely get what you pay for. Go there and you’ll see every person walking the beach stop and take pictures of the place.

The positives are that it's right on the beach and the beach is pristine - it's also in the center of town. The room was charming but missing many amenities that you would expect for the price (to be fair all of Holbox is over priced) -- no body lotion, wifi, bathrobes... Oh yes, with all the precautions regarding COVID - change the foot water - it gets nasty by the end of the day! However, the staff was lovely and we enjoyed our stay immensely. I strongly encourage Tortugas to up their game!

We couldn’t fault a thing with Casa Las Tortugas, the staff were a delight and always happy to help, appreciated their effort to be sustainable for the island, no plastic in sight! The location was amazing, beach access was absolutely beautiful with great seating/bathing and a lovely stroll in to the centre or an easy cycle out to Punta Mosquito. We ate at all 3 of the restaurants each was fantastic, as well as taking part in the yoga and meditation sessions which were also great! All was absolutely perfect and I can’t wait to return!
