Great place, breakfast can get a little crowded… go early or be ready for a crowd.

Hotel is in a nice location, and room is well appointed and clean. However, beside the hotel is a building field with a huge garbage dumping cart, so the side lake view for superior room is mostly ruined; a lot of group tourists during our stay, hence a bit crowded in public areas.

Brilliant hotel, excellent location. Loved the sky bar and private pool overlooking the lake. Breakfast was lovely. Really disappointing to be booked into a room which had a building site clearly on view from the balcony.

Thw hotel is ok but we got a room without elevator and we were with a baby so we could use our stroller. It was not written in hotels and was only mentioned in the room specific page within the hotel website

It is a lovely hotel with a great location, the food (except the breakfast) is pricy but not very good, the service is a bit uneven. I would still highly recommend it, just eat somewhere else.

Great 3 night stay at Hotel La Palma. Highlight is the beach club and also the Sky Bar. Room was just okay with bathroom looking a bit tired (weak shower, dirty grouting) and paper-thin doors which means you are woken up by the cleaners as soon as they start pushing their carts

We stayed at the hotel four nights. Room was great, service and food excellent. Parking was in the hotel basement and there was also a hotel parking lot across the street.
Best feature was the hotel beach club by the lakeside across the street from the hotel. Cosy lounge chairs and sun beds, great service and nice pool snacks you can order from your sun lounger. Very nice infinity pool with amazing view of the lake. Nice bathroom and changing facilities.
The hotel is within walking distance from the restaurants and shops of Stresa.
The hotel is a great choice for couples.
We will definitely like to come back.

This hotel has a great location and the balcony room allowed for magnificent lake views. A short 10minute walk to the town area of Stresa. The roof top bar was excellent with drinks and food available. A must do.

What a fabulous hotel! A quiet and relaxing oasis on a beautiful lake. And the staff, particularly Julia at the front desk are extremely welcoming and helpful!!!! Loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and looking at lake or from sky view lounge on roof!!

We spent 5 delightful nights at the hotel. It was perfect in every respect. The room was spacious, well designed and had an amazing view of the lake and the town. The hotel is kept meticulously clean. The staff are always on hand to help with anything and nothing is too much.

We stayed in the annexe on the top floor with a beautiful view of the gardens. The room was enormous! Fantastically well appointed, free WiFi, spotlessly clean and hi spec furnishings and bathroom. Staff were lovely, particularly at the bar and in the breakfast room. Breakfast buffet was very good with a huge variety of choice.

My wife and I celebrated a special anniversary at Hotel La Palma. We booked a Junior Suite with a wrap around terrace that had a spectacular lake view. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and a relaxing environment. The staff is friendly and professional. Special thanks to front desk reception member, Debora, who was so helpful when our flight home was cancelled.

Very close to all there is to see in Stresa. Wonderful breakfast service. We also have dinner one night and it was pretty good. We had a lake view balcony and we enjoyed a couple of drinks there watching the boats and people go by. My only complain would be that this October was unseasonably hot, and the AC was turned off for the whole building. The common areas were hot, and the room, a bit too warm for my taste. We did open the windows, but then there would be mosquitos coming in, and noice from the street. They did lend me a stand up fan and that helped me sleep a bit better.

Our room was on the third floor in the corner, we had beautiful views from the side but with he lake and island.
