Was a fun experience overall. The folks next to us stayed up all night talking which was somewhat disturbing, apparently the walls are not insulated. It is as advertised “a 50’s motel along Route 66. Parking was plentiful and convenient as we were pulling a small trailer. Probably will not stay there on future trips.

This place was amazing done up like it was the 60s all the furniture inside was mid century modern. Even had a 20 minute loop of old radio from the 60s. Right on route 66 i wish i had an old buick or some land yacht of a convertible to park in the spot out front. Some of the rooms even had an original magic fingers beds ( wife and i opted for a king size bed, magic fingers are queens)

Historical hotel that was immaculate and very comfortable. Friendly check in and across the street from a wonderful diner. So glad we stayed here!!!

Overall, a very nice stay at the property. The area that the property is in is being gentrified so it is not an a pristine area, but the hotel seems safe and is very clean and updated. The owner greeted us and he was very nice and gave us a history of the property.

This property was perfect in all ways…cleanliness, location to excellent restaurants and safe. Enjoyed our stay and will return if ever in the area again.

We have stayed here before and it is always clean and well maintained. Next store there is a demolished small structure that looks terrible but it’s not the lodge’s property so nothing they can do about it. Place has a fun 50s vibe and decor.

This is the cleanest hotel/motel room I have stayed at in years. The room was simple, adorable, and so clean! Check in was easy and friendly. It was awesome to see people out in the courtyard by the fire pit enjoying the evening. Highly recommend staying here over any chain hotel any day.

Quick and easy check in. Friendly and helpful hosts. Clean and comfortable room. An excellent value for the $! This was our third time here and we’ll be back.

Our dog’s first night at a motel and it was great. A welcome treat and dog bowl. An outdoor dog area about 30 steps away. And for the humans, a great bed. Highly recommend.

Hotel was really nice and clean. Good beds, quality linens, and very clean. Only complaint was noise from surrounding area. Walls a little thin. I would stay again for price.

The decor, cleanliness, service, vibe are excellent. We highly recommend this Motel to anyone traveling along Route 66. We had a second story room which is fine by us since we are able-bodied, but might be a challenge for older folks who can not walk up stairs.

HOTEL WAS FINE, NOSTALGA TO THE EXTREME, BUT TH STRETCH OF ROUTE 66 IS JUST GETTING MORE AND MORE VACANT AND SEEDY. WISH TUCUMCARI COULD DO MORE TO IMPROVE THE AREA.

I love supporting a business in a small town that has been decimated over the years by the interstate running by their town. This motel has an authentic Rte 66 vibe and is truly pet friendly.

Unique 60’s theme, friendly attentive owner, convenient layout of room with outlets for charging. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms. Second floor room was a bit challenging for elderly people traveling with a cooler.

David was incredibly nice and thoughtful! The hospitality was definitely a wow factor. The hotel has a lot of dog friendly touches as well as human ones. I would stay again and again. They have preserved the hotel in a time capsule which I love.

Wife and I had an overnight stay and booked this room based on the reviews of this motel. It absolutely lived up to the rating. Clean, comfortable, with attention to detail for this historic motel right on Route 66. We eat diner and breakfast at were both within walking distance and loved them as well. Will definitely be back.

My stay was fabulous. Retro motel with the basics for a great stay. Vintage radio inside room playing oldies and complimentary moon pies were an added touch that gave the motel a happy vibe. Will definitely stay again.
