Food lovely but a meager menu choice for guests who do not want that option. And, no desserts on the menu that did not have chocolate: not a good idea on general principles, as well as annoying for guests like me who can t eat chocolate.

Hotel is overpriced. The rooms are too old, no airconditioning and the bathroom was not very clean. The showercurtain was covered with black spots...

Beautiful setting. Well maintained.

We loved this spot. We took a long long walk on the property right near there, and then had a spectacular dinner - the best one we have had in ten days of travel. Lovely.

Everything was just perfect. Staff made us feel special, great food, lovely and cosy lounge. Our room was a dream, with all the comfort one could wish.

Brilliant staff, genuinely friendly and pleasant. Excellent quality food for our evening meal, comfortable room in a lovely hotel in gorgeous surroundings. I would recommend this hotel and we will definitely return.

The hotel is located on the edge of a beautiful forested area with cycle tracks along the river. I stayed in the attic room in the lodge and it was uncomfortable lay warm. There is an ac unit, but it was vey noisy. Breakfast was adequate, and the food in the restaurant was ok. Would give it 3 stars, not 4

Make sure you arrive on time to turn down the heating in the room otherwise you will sleep in a sauna. Koetshuis somewhat noisy because of the construction and wooden stairs. Ample hiking opportunities in an very nice area.

Large room but wifi could be better.

The hotel is located in an area of woods and pastures north of Arnhem. My wife and I enjoyed walking and bicycling in this beautiful area. The hotel was wonderful and the restaurant was superb. I'm looking forward to going back.

We arrived at the Hotel at about 12.00 midday and were allowed to check in early. The room was clean and had all the facilities we required. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The breakfast selection catered for a wide of tastes, continental, cooked, cereal or fruit. I would recommend this Hotel and hopefully I will return sometime.

I love this place and have stayed 3 times. Wonderful hotel if you're looking for a picturesque place in a very quiet area. Grounds are beautiful, very nice zoo up the street. Some of the bathrooms are not the best, but it's very worth the price.

Superb hotel in beautiful surroundings. We called en route from Germany to Rotterdam and stayed two nights. The restaurant food and the staff was excellent. There is a lovely area where you can enjoy a few drinks in the sunshine or evening after dinner. The location is perfect for armhem and Utrecht in Holland .Try and visit the castle de hag near Utrecht ans also the open air museum of Holland and the world was two museum down the road. The only problem we had was the shower room in the bedroom which was poorly planned more like a wet room and made the bathroom floor very slippy so I would request a different room next time we visit which will be next year. Overall no complaints

It all depends on the room you are assigned. Had a great experience one time, and a very so so the next.

Overmanned, puffed-up restaurant in grandiose parkland location - with rooms. An atmospheric cul de sac. Overpriced menu offered anniversary-only aspiring epicurians and trapped travellers the last remnants of nouvelle cuisine and the opportunity to pay twice what a poor meal is worth. Disgraceful mark-up on indifferent wine list. Staff made up for their inexperience with lashings of studied ostentation whilst their seniors carefully juggling obsequious manners with 'superior-than-thou' grins. The Basil Fawltyish head waiter wore plastic white gloves for pity's sake. Some prices (e.g phone calls, cocktails) were indecent. Any virtue which escaped the pervading pretentiousness was limited to the surrounding gardens, parks, woods and inspired detached orangery facility (weddings, etc)-which collectively impressed but failed to remedy or compensate. Great use of wood (teak) furniture and fittings; but wasted.
