Tub stopper didnt work

We drove all the way from Texas and booked online. When we tried to check in the front desk told us that there were no rooms available because they were closed down for business. We had to go look for another room at a different location.

This is a motor inn-style motel.
Pros: Inexpensive, close to the casino, quiet.
Cons: appearance, cleanliness, comfort.
Pulling up to the motel will tell you all you need. There is no pretense that this is a diamond in the rough.
The woman at the desk wasn’t unfriendly.
The room was basic and all amenities were functional.
AC was great, water hot, and the bed was unbelievably firm.
There were some dead bugs, a couple hairs in the sink, and the bed cover/blanket looks like it doesn’t get laundered regularly.
I am not mad or anything , I got what I paid for, nothing more or less.
This place gives me an appreciation for well maintained and managed hotels.

Shower curtain had mold and tub would clog as you were taking a shower also the mattress was very disappointing it was caved in on the middle had to cling on to the end to sleep at an angle

I get that this is just a little roadside motel, but, it wasn’t comfortable, and we really just chose it for the low cost. The beds were uncomfortable. The room wasn’t horribly dirty but they weren’t spotlessly clean either. It’s fine if you’re just trying to save money but, don’t expect too much.

Overall for the price, great place.. on the plus side, paint was fresh, a/c worked well enough considering it only has one fan speed, and the fridge was large…..but… the ice machine barely worked for a 1/4 of a bin (and had mold/bugs in it). Room door had been busted open and then the frame screwed back to the wall, bath faucet nearly came off the wall, and a king bed should honestly come with more than two minuscule pillows.

Room was full of dead bugs was moved to another room but it was filthy. The walls were dirty, toilet was filthy. It was horrible I would not have allowed an animal to stay there. We left and just drove back home.

My room was adequately cleaned, though a little extra attention would have been nice.
Observations: The room was like an oven when I arrived. The AC took a long time to cool the room down. The bars of soap provided were tiny - I mean tiny. Had to kill two crickets in the tub. Holes in the bedspreads. Mattresses and pillows need to be replaced. Towels were see-through and rather dingy. In short, the price point reflects the room. On the plus side, the room was very quiet.

For the price the place was good. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The outside around the building looked unkempt. When I saw the condition of the outside I was worried about how the room would look.

The tv didn’t show anything on tv but golf. Couldn’t get the tv to change and called up front no one answered and I left my number but no one called me back

Not the best place to stay. The bed sheets were burned, the restroom toilet was very dirty. The mattress and the pillows definitely need to be replaced. Didn’t really feel like I had a good nights sleep.

Well to start tv was not program,bed was uncomfortable,bathroom was dirty i ask the owner to come in and clean it hair was everywhere toilet was not clean try another room it was the same i do have pictures of the horrible stay. But u get what u pay for

Like - the fact that is was inexpensive
Didn’t like- the super thin towels that were a dull white. The sink. Looks like needs a new sink

I know it’s an older hotel.. but replace the mattress , pillows,comforters, more thoroughly on washing sheets towels.. if they are dingy replace them 🙄. We bring our on towels and spray the room with Lysol. More thorough on cleaning as well.
And keep up with the air unit. Just good to sleep and shower since were at the casino majority of the time

It was dirty. Restroom was filthy, toilet had pee stains and tub had rings around it not 1 but 2 nasty rings. Bed looked like it had been slept in. Heater blew cold air (I double checked it was on heat)

The worst night of sleep I’ve had in years. The wall as are so paper thin we heard the blasting TV all day and the absurdly LOUD snoring from the next room all night. Every time we turned, we heard and FELT the mattress squeak, the pillows were flat pieces of fabric & we killed multiple spiders in the room. I woke up barely able to move my neck due to the inferior pillows. I’ve never had such a bad experience at a hotel. I will NOT be returning here and do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. You get what you pay for. Instead of saving a few bucks, I should’ve spent more and actually had a good night sleep and enjoyed my birthday.

The bed was the worse bed I have ever slept in. I was caved into the middle and hard as hell, the refrigerator rattled loud all night and the shower curtain was dirty. I definitely won't stay there again

There was nothing unique about this property. They did let us check out late, by saying they will clean our rooms last. There was crickets everywhere, e en in the bath tub. We came in late, after midnight so, we spent a hour cleaning up the dead crickets as well as the live ones. It’s a good thing there was a broom and dust pan nearby.
