Heavy smell of cleaning solution within room - overpowering and very stinky. Lot of smoking going around at side door entrance - should move the ash can and chair away from right at door.

Very convenient and nice/helpful staff, but our room was not very clean.

It was a pleasurable, comfortable stay. Quite accommodating.

Decent hotel close to interstate.

Disappointing experience - have stayed there previously and property has definitely deteriorated. Noisy neighborhood at night. Complimentary breakfast marginal at best - hot dishes lukewarm, no milk available for cereal, fruit not fresh. Reservation was for 2 nights and keys were inactive after one day.

Breakfast was disappointing. Imagine putting out cereal and not having milk. Very slow refilling eggs and hash browns. Check-in clerk was very slow.

This hotel was very dingy and rundown definitely has not been updated anytime recently

The room was clean and very large. Bed was comfortable.

Easy hwy access. Nice breakfast. Pls provide, if availabe, a map of the immediate (Latham) area. The map available was for a different area.

Always enjoy staying here when visiting family. Friendly hotel, caters to working people who are very polite.

The shower curtain had holes in it the wall in the bathroom needs to be repaired the waffle maker wasn’t working only two of the four slots on the toaster working

Clean and quiet.

I don’t know if this is under new ownership- it has potential. The rooms weren’t too bad, seemed updated but damp. Also, there was no linen for the pullout bed (and the sofa was really dirty and stained) So, upon arrival I assumed I had the wrong location- it almost looked closed. The landscaping was overgrown. The back parking lot had a ton of broken glass. The pool was a little slimy, I never saw it maintained during our stay. It advertised a children’s pool but it was just 1 pool- it had a hot tub but they built a deck over it for some reason. The breakfast was less than appetizing- the sausage patties were either overcooked and hard or looked undercooked and not safe to eat, there was no happy medium. The toaster barely worked. They were out of milk for 4 of the days as well as yogurt- which was a bummer for the littles who preferred cereal. Oh and the apple juice had what looked like mold floating in it- not to mention the insane amount of fruit flies surrounding the beverage area. On a plus side- every staff member that I encountered was super friendly and more than helpful when needed. But I will not stay again for our next trip.

I loveeee this place this is definitely gonna be my goto place when I want to get away.

For the price we paid, this place was filthy. The elevator looks like the walls and floor hasn't been cleaned in weeks. The room: stain on bedding, paint peeling in bathroom, coffee maker didnt work, carpet gross, open shampoo container in bathroom.

It was odd that no one was waiting at the front desk upon check-in. Room smelled musty - we kept the window open the entire time. Continental breakfast was "ok" - most hotels offer more choices. Front entrance smelled of smoke at night. We could hear people walking in the room above us.

The tile floor in the entry way inside the door & in the bathroom was stained & sticky.....

Good price/rate, but there was garbage everywhere. There weren’t garbage cans anywhere. Inside or outside of the hotel. The outside of the hotel and particularly the parking lot was disgusting. Tons of garbage. Nothing is maintained outside.

Room was clean

The whole staff are great people and very friendly. My only complaint is people smoking in the back we can smell it from our room.

Closer to many restaurants, shopping

i had a family of four and had a double bed to get there and they only had a one bedroom for me, very irresponsible and refused to discount me.

When I got there for check-in room wasn’t ready they didn’t know when it was gonna be ready. It just wasn’t me there was a few other people waiting for there rooms with no answers just really bad excuses. I stayed here a few years ago it was nice but now it’s run down a little dirty and the room was smelly and damp.

Area was questionable. Pool had dead bugs in it and was painted dark so hard to tell if it was clean. Bed was fine but had no bedding for sofa bed. Staff was very nice.

Never infored that the key cards to the rooms weren't working. Evey time we left the room we had to get someone to let us back in. One time took almost 10 minutes. The back and side entrances were left unlocked due to the key cards not functioning properly, so anyone could just walk in. The A/C to the building wasn't working properly in the lobby, hallways, elevator and pool area. We only stayed because it was to late to cancel

This is my second stay at this La Quinta and for the money it can’t be beat. Staff was having some technical issues with their system, but went out of their way to make it as easy on guests as possible.

The room was clean, large enough, and very comfortable. However there was no AC in the lobby and there were no keys to the room. An employee had to walk you to room and unlock the door.

The a/c on 1st floor broken ,the only staff that spoke English was the checkin person. The breakfast buffet was terrible coffee was cold the eggs ran out and were not refilled the landscaping around the building was not maintained and when we checked out my wife asked for a receipt and the staff at the front desk said we don’t give receipts
