A lovely hotel and just a stone’s throw to the beach. Our breakfast was delicious every time. The staff, I have to say helped make our holiday. The breakfast and reception staff were like family - wonderful! We didn’t use the spa or the pool, to be honest no need to as we were so close to the beach nor did we use the casino. There is however, a lovely small bar behind the casino, but unfortunately you have to register with the casino and go through it to get to the bar - no biggie, but would have preferred to not to do that. An easy 10min walk to New Town and 15/20min to Old Town. The room itself was amazingly spacious! Very comfortable. All in all, a great stay, we were well looked after and wonderful and friendly staff.

Lovely staff and very clean. Gym very small and in the spa. If you require a gym this will not be comfortable. Over all very satisfied. Lovely breakfast.

Amazing hotel & staff!

Fantastic setting and historic building.

The hotel itself is spectacular- it has an old style decor, however very tasteful, comfortable and with all modern features. The room was huge (I was upgraded due to my hotels.com status) with a view of the beach. Food was delicious- from breakfast cooked to order to lunch in the pool restaurant and dinner room service. The hotel is perfectly located- 20 minute walk from the ferry port, 20 minutes drive to the airport, plenty of dining options nearby. The only slight criticism would go to pool bar staff- I spent 2 hours trying to be noticed/asked for an order.

I stayed here with my teenage son for 1 week. The hotel is absolutely wonderful! The room was big with the best bed! It got this old fashionable style. There were Korres toiletries in the room It smells wonderful! The breakfast was served outside and had everything we could wish for and more. The pool is in the hotelgarden and other guests can also stay there (they pay 10€ for a bed). It is open from 10-18. You get pooltowels in the reception or by the pool. It was never a problem to get sunbeds and this is luckily not the kind of place were guests can reserve beds early in the morning and not use them before lunch. There is staff who will put up the parasol. They play relaxed music all day and you can order drinks and food served at the sunbeds, it is also possible to eat, drink and relax in nice sofas. If you want to swim in the ocean, the beach is in front of the poolarea. There is a big casino at the hotel, but we didn’t go there. I belive it was quite popular. The restaurant at the hotel had nice food and drinks. We went to the spa/hamam the last day as we were leaving late. It is so nice. Recommended! All the staff was so nice and helpful. The only downside at this hotel is the terraces. They are tiny so you can just stand om them. It did not bother us though. This hotel is in the middle if the city, so do bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper! So we will absolutely come back. A perfect hotel withe the best location, at the beach and in the city!

We weren't greeted by the friendliest of staff members.. she was quite rude and blunt. She was also quite set on passing the blame onto us. The room/hotel was VERY dated - the pictures need updating. Bonus was that the bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. We were due a free bottle of wine upon arrival due to my member status but had to ask twice for this. Good location - the pool was really great and the breakfast was lovely!

All was ok Thebonly thing is the breakfast,it take lot of time to get the food if there is more then 3 tables .

Room was very nice and spacious. The hotel grounds are nice and breakfast is great. Staff is attentive and friendly. Proximity to the casino is nice.

Best staff and service top

This is such a glamorous hotel in such a fantastic location; it is right next to the beach and just a few minutes away from the centre. The view from the room was truly beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Absolutely recommend it.

A long established hotel in a very good location, with quality service and friendly staff. However, the amenities (e.g. gym) were limited at the time of my stay as it was still early in the tourist season.

Great location with an amazing waterfront view. The rooms are very spacious, clean and the staff was amazing.

Had a lovely time. The staff were great, the beach was right at your doorstep, the restaurant was fantastic and the breakfast was also really good. You can walk to the old town, plenty of bars and excellent places to eat nearby, no need to hire a car. You can hear the bars on the beachfront (because you are on the beachfront!) at night but didn't keep us awake, and the balcony is standing room only - but neither were a big deal.

We arrived to Rhodes Airport on the 14th Sept, 2022 but no one came to collect, we called The Grande Della Rose Hotel- explained our situation to a very angry man at reception, who said there was nothing in their system, and there was no such booking, when we had paid for 7nts stay with breakfast, it said transfers was included with the price! We think the problem was to do with Customers Support- where we sent an email stating, the Time and the date of arrival but for some reason, Hotel Grande Della Rose did not receive it...had tried to contact Hotel 4 times via Telephone but was not able to get through. We paid for taxi to this Hotel...taken to our room..some time later, we was given a Bottle of Sparkling Wine and 2 Bowls of Fruit; and a 3 course Meal, for the inconvenience that had occurred. To be fair and honest, we found All the Staff at this Hotel very pleasant and helpfull and went out of their way to make our Holiday stay, comfortable and pleasant. Close to beach, old town, restaurants & shopping.

We stayed in the superior room with a sea view - the room was huge double the size of most hotel rooms. It was very comfortable. The hotel has a perfect location for exploring Rhodes town and is on the beach. We sat by the pool in the afternoons and went for a swim in the sea. Breakfasts were excellent

Wonderful hotel next to the beach. We had a great room (separate living room and bedroom) with balcony to the beach. Very good air-conditioning all around the hotel. Wonderful and very polite staff, good breakfast. It was very nice to receive the beach towels from the hotel (and you could change them daily to new ones). Would warmly recommend this hotel and when ever I come back to Rodos, I will stay in this hotel.

One of the best stays We’ve had in a long time. The service was exceptional and the rooms were big comfy and luxurious. If you are looking for a getaway in Rhodes this property I would totally recommend. The food was simply superb as well as the outdoors areas for seating were stunning. Only wish we had had longer than our one night stay. But for the price it was by far the best. Being so close to the city makes such a difference you can walk easily to the old town the newer areas as well. Stunning backdrop from the rooms overlooking either the city or the sea. Honestly can not rate this highly enough. When you consider the other resorts are packed and no room to move this was such a nice escape. Music by the restaurant it was a truly memorable hotel.

Unbelievable hotel with amazing views and excellent location. The hotel is full of history with amazing heritage stories! The service was impeccable. Just right on the beach! A place to be!

The hotels location, ambience and rooms were stellar. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with views of the sea from the dining room/outdoor terrace. Room was made up twice daily (which we werent used to, but ended up very useful when trapsing in sand from the beach and showering during the late afternoon only to find fresh towels and a clean room again after returning in the later evening). Only thing to say on the negative side is that hotel staff were rarely present at reception, but, when present were quite friendly, though, not very knowledgeable about tourist options. This wasnt a big deal, though, since everything was set for us in the hotel with no troubles and any tourist info we needed we got from close information kiosks at Mandraki and generally on the Internet. Although we arrived not knowing that the hotel was adjoined in the same building with the (one and only) Rhodes casino (and would have actually deterred us from choosing this hotel since we are not gamblers our experience with casinos are as loud and smoky environments), the caino was completely unnoticeable in all ways - to our great relief. We would and hopefully will come back to this hotel.

An excellent hotel for our recent visit to Rhodes Town.Location was perfect with good pool area luxury sunbeds sexy music and a beach next door. Price for food and drinks around the hotel was reasonable for the standard of hotel and service. The breakfast arrangement however was a little disappointing.
