The stay was very pleasant - the room was decent, not the Ritz for sure, but adequate and a good price - the restaurant being right there was very convenient and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

We checked in. The check in was next to the bar/restaurant. There was a note at the desk that they stepped away and to call the number. Someone came from the restaurant to check us in. He wasn’t sure how to check in. We got to our room, it was unlocked.
The smell in the hallway was of smoke and musty. Our room was not only very outdated, but not clean and had an old smoke smell. Holes in the blankets and horrible mattresses. The springs in the pullout were popping out and was smaller than the bed.
The headboard on on of the beds was broken. The sheets and blankets did not smell clean and the pillows were very old.
We went to the bar for a drink and the High Life bottle of beer was flat.

The only thing I did not like is that they have duct tape all over their bar stols and I have a pair of pants I can not get the adhesive off of. They need to do some updating!!!

The rooms are well-maintained. The bathrooms are brand new. We love that there is waterfront Mary’s restaurant right next-door. Everyone at Beach Harbor and waterfront Mary’s are so kind to us and make us stay always so pleasurable. Can’t wait to go back.

The wait staff at the restaurant were atrocious. 30 minutes to get a water, menu items were not available, hostess was rude.

This place was nice and quiet without a ton of people here this time of year. It had a great beach area with kayaks that were free to use. One thing that makes this place great is the onsight restaurant plus free coffee in the morning. Wish they did offer a free breakfast.

Loved this little resort! We enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night right on the shore. It was a wonderful place to relax!

The staff was great. The restaurant was delicious and the view was amazing.

Our stay was great. I spoke with the manager, and asked if they had a walk in shower, and she definitely put us in a really good room. It had the walk in shower, 2 Queen beds, and a sofa bed, which we ended up having to use, a table and 2 chairs, and a desk chair that really helped us with relaxing for tv at night. We also used the 2 chairs outside also.

Place is pretty outdated and could use a facelift… I’m sure it’s popular because of the amenities and bar /restaurant on site.

If you’re looking to just spend the night with a wuick scenery with easy access to a bar, food, and lake view, this is the place! It is not luxury but a cute motel to stay in if you’re not extremely picky! Access to room was a key in which I have not seen in many years!

This was our second time staying at this property and we really enjoy it. For the location and price point I think you would be hard pressed to find a better lodging option.

I did like that it was not too noisy and the bathrooms were recently updated and nice. Staff was very nice and owner was open to kisten to and interested in constructive feedback. Not liking the smell when walking in. Carpets and drapes need replacing. Smell set off my migraines. Would not consider going back until smell is gone and believe it was from carpet being wet. Possibly even from wet dogs being allowed on carpets. All in all, owners & staff were great and accommodating.

What a little slice of heaven! We all wish we could have stayed longer. The kids loved playing on the beach and playing in the sand. The restaurant on site had great service and was so convenient after a long day in the sun.

What a fun, affordable place to stay in Door County. The fire pit and little beach were great gathering spots. Fish chowder at the restaurant was delicious! We will stay again!

Liked the location. Nice that it’s on the water, although a little cool to enjoy. Room good, did not realize there were different priced rooms ( maybe did not see when booking via Expedia)
Great restaurant on site. Very convenient to grab supper since many small town restaurants seem to be open for only breakfast and lunch. Fantastic seafood chowder.

Truly a fun spot to spend a few days. Grounds are beautiful and lots of Sandy beach area. They have rentals for jet skis, saw many fisherman take off from the docks. Most favorite part was the fish boil on the first night we arrived, very tasty and lots of food. Their restaurant on as good selection of choices and it was very good.
Our room was clean, only a bit cramped because we had our two small dogs with us. Needed maintenance to fix a light which was taken care of quickly.

My stay was okay. I didn't sleep very well because the pillows were flat and I was on the end unit. Plus you could hear people going in and out of the entrance. In the morning there was a restaurant supply truck that had its engine running for an hour, very hard to stay asleep. Otherwise, the location was near a state park, but I didn't take advantage of that though. Location was great, right in Sturgeon Bay, near restaurants and easy when ready to leave to go home.

This property is cute and clean, and a good location. The bathroom was very clean and stocked, including a hairdryer. The beds are a medium firm and I slept good. The only quirk with the room is that the air heating and cooling unit was kind of loud, sounded like something was rattling around in there. There is a bar/restaurant in the same location which is nice. The seafood chowder is amazing!!! The only problem with Waterfront Mary's (the bar) was that bartenders were not very friendly, and the mixed drinks are pricy. Domestic beers are priced fairly. Overall, I will go back there again. They also have on onsite Fish Boil and access to the lake.

The resort is placed in an awesome position. Rooms were okay and clean. We mostly spent time outside. Also the restaurant serves amazing food. Overall excellent for the price.

Great being close to waterfront Mary’s for food and cocktails.
Starting point to walk to Potawatomi trails and along water front. Loves being on the bay. Bathroom upgraded. Rooms have all that you need but the real highlight is the location. We stayed during off season but I could see how fun it would be to be here in the summer - kayaks and SUP available and jet ski rentals for easy access to water fun. Small Sandy beach. Lawn games.
Will definitely stay here again.

This was the second time we've stayed here. Check in was fast and easy, the gal at the front desk was very friendly. We were given a room with a patio door to make it easier to let the dog out to do its business. The heater fan did have a small tick in it every so often but after a full day of hiking we were too tired to notice it.

Great beautiful place on the water had a great mother daughter weekend with my mother and of course being there in the fall. It was just so beautiful you couldn’t resist taking photos.

We love the water view & vibe, the bar/restaurant have delicious drinks and food, and of course the staff is amazing, and so welcoming!!!
