The smell was bad. It was comfortable though.

A great place to stay right on the water, in the heart of Fort Walton Beach. Close to shops, dining, the Gulf, Pier and Boardwalk. Service was excellent and I can’t wait to stay again.

An older property, but well kept up. Close to shopping and restaurants. Nice view of the harbor.

For an older property, it was clean did not like that. The rooms across the hall had kitchenette, and the smells with travel into my room.

Was quiet. Staff were cordial. Front desk has set hours for staff to be present. Having to bring bath linens to the office to exchange for clean was something that one had to set aside time to do. Floor had dried mud at the door when entering room and didn’t come up with our attempts(no mop). Asked for it to be cleaned up and it didn’t happen.

Hotel could use many updates! We stayed for the convenience of location right next to a venue for a wedding. The hotel is overly perfumed by plug ins to damper another smell. We had to switch rooms because our first room was small and the smell was bad and perfumed over top. New room was much better! Pool was nice and the grounds have tons of potential! We were told there are new owners now and I do hope they continue to clean the grounds up and make it into a great place. We still had a great time!

We normally stay at a Marriott or Hilton, but this time we figured we would stay someplace else. We saw they had a pool, arcade room and corn hole, so we figured it would be more hip. When we checked in the lady wrote 213A on our cards but 231A on our map. We went to 231A, second floor, no elevators. I have balance issues. Key wouldn't work, so my husband went back to the front desk. It's 213A on the other side. Down the steps, drove to the other side, up the steps. The room was set at 90 degrees, the bathroom was a toilet, sink, tub. No conters. There wasn't any doors on the closets, one had carpet tacking strip and glue but no carpet. The paint on the walls looked like a child did it. The TV and cable box were unplugged. After plugging them in, the cable said "service interrupted. Call cox to restablish". By then I told my husband I was hot, claustrophobic in the bathroom and now we couldn't watch movies. No complementary water, no mini fridge. I wanted to go home. We stayed an hour. Told the front desk to charge us for that night, but refund the next.

The room next-door connected to my Room You can see up underneath the door and can hear the people in the other room, just like they was in your room. The room did not even have a refrigerator or a microwave. I would never go back there again. They don’t even bring towels they don’t even room service

My was room hadn't been cleaned upon arrival. The dirty sheets were piled on the bed, there was poo stains in the toilet and dried toothpaste in the sink. They didn't have any clean towels and gave me hand towels to dry off with. I had to personally put clean sheet on my bed, but they didn't have any clean pillow cases, so I slept with out a pillow. It was the worst experience I've ever had staying in a motel. Don't stay here...

Very helpful women at check in. She was very accommodating with our requests.

We enjoyed being so close to a public beach. Sue was great giving us tips of where to go and what to eat. We were able to walk to the park for July 4th fireworks and live band. It was great!

My friend and I went to Fort Walton beach and Destin for a few days. We loved our stay. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel was close to everything. Plenty of restaurants with live music walking distance. We felt save walking late at night. I would go back.

i didnt like that there wasnt a microwave or refrigerator in our room. Yes, there was one at the office, but who wants to walk to the office when you have handicap in room? 0ther than that is the only complaint .

After checking in, went to the room and maids haven't even cleaned the room. Bed wasn't made. Went to office and they moved me to another room and it was gross. Had a weird odor, coffee table was sticky with hair on it, old food on floor, couch was damp. Gutter hanging down from the top floor in the middle of our balcony . I couldn't stay there so I returned the key and left

The room smelled like smoke. I was too tired to complain. And the bathroom floor may have been clean but was sticky. I liked the plantation shutters The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. And I liked the option of watching Netflix

It was ok No phone in the room No refrigerator No microwave in room Too many cats walking on the property walking up to your room and staying in front of your door looking for food. Homeless people staying on the property

We had to pay an additional $20 to check in early when you have already paid hundreds of dollars to begin with. The room was dirty tv didn’t work paint was peeling off the walls and the worst of it all was the sheets and fitted sheet had stains. Went to the front and asked for new sheets just for them to tell me that the ones on the bed are new and when I said the room was dirty they just flat out ignored it. Overall disappointed for the price we paid. Would not recommend and will not be back to that resort again.

Lovely patio & garden area near the pool! Great location in Fort Walton and the staff was nothing but friendly. Would visit again!

$210 a night for a suite, which had an extra couch blocking access into the room, they refused to move it, apparently it was being stored in my room while they remodel? No air conditioning in the game room, bedroom air conditioner was broken, hot tub broken, metal gutter on the exterior was hanging down and swinging towards the window during a storm. Look elsewhere, the website doesn't reflect the actual hotel.

Close to water

Nice quiet and clean hotel with a pool and hot tub not to mention a game room where it is free to play pool , air hockey and they have various board games as well. The only thing if you need a fridge or microwave you need to ask for one because it’s not on their website if you book thru hotels or another site . I told them and they got me one with no problem also we stayed in a newly renovated room and the beds were so comfortable and the sheets were new did I mention we had cable , hot water and pillows that as soon as your head hit them you were asleep . Will stay here again .

I have stayed here multiple times over the last 10 years. The property is under new management with lots of new improvements. Staff is always welcoming and professional. Rooms are inviting and the entire property has that "old Florida" feel to it which is hard to find in a world of high rises and hotel chains.

Our stay was amazing as usual we've never had a bad stay here. There was some construction/renovation being done in the building but not unusual for this area. Dolphins showed up out in the bay Thursday and played for awhile probably not even 3 feet from the marina dock. As long as rates stay in our price range this will always be one of our top 2 choices. We've stayed multiple times already and have never been disappointed

This place is far from a "resort". Very dated, dirty and musky. However, it is convenient to many cool bars and the receptionist is a really sweet lady. I would not stay here again.

Everything was good except refrigerator didn’t work.

Our stay was not so good as photos of resort online did not come close to matching what we experienced in person. HOWEVER, they confessed and were transparent about the issues, apologized, and made it right. For that reason, I would recommend this property. I would recommend calling first and asking questions about current renovations, room availability, etc.
