Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

I have stayed at other Hampton Inns, and this one was in need of a little facelift and maintence. The lobby area is somewhat dark as is the hallway to the elevator, and the rug on the first floor near the elevator was quite soiled. In my room, the digital display on the AC/heat unit was not working- so I could not adjust the temperature. The refrigerator temp was also too high and not adjustable, and it froze my fruit and drinks. However, the staff was FABULOUS- very welcoming and helpful; and the breakfast plentiful. The room was very clean and bedding comfortable - although felt dark even with lights on. And I appreciated the toiletry amenities in the shower and bath (like that you aren't using extra plastic). I was also disappointed that the pool was closed, as this was one of the features that made me choose Hampton Inn. It was not shown as closed on the Hotels.com website, but later I saw that it was on the hotel site.

Charles at check in was very welcoming and helpful. Our room key would not work so he quickly resolved the problem so we could settle in and get to dinner.

I really liked the staff. Charles who greeted us was so nice. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The only complaint I have was the pool was closed. I took this hotel because it had an indoor pool. That was disappointing.

I booked this place for one night and the website DID NOT state the pools were out of order so I booked…. Upon arrival there was a sign stating that refunds were being provided to guest who did not want to stay due to this issue of the pool not working. I decided to leave and never stayed at this place , I figured this would result in a billing issue so I asked him for a receipt and he stated he would send me an email (which I never got) stating my stay was cancelled and my refund, this was on August 24 and it’s September now and I’m STILL working on getting my refund from this place. Do not recommend, very unprofessional and obviously not responsible.On the bright side there’s a CFA across the street.

Mattresses needed upgrading. Not very comfortable to sleep. No refrigerator in the room was a negative. Great breakfast buffet for the family. Nice to receive bottled water upon checking.

Chose this property because we wanted to be close to Swarthmore College and Longwood Gardens. Great surprise when we pulled in that hotel is walkable to Chik Fil A and Texas Roadhouse. Staff very friendly. Our room was large with high ceilings on first floor. Would've liked more lighting in room and a larger mini fridge, but overall we liked the room! Complimentary breakfast buffet was wonderful. Hot oatmeal, kielbasa, eggs lots of breads. Best part was waffle makers. Regular batter AND birthday cake batter! Whip cream, sprinkles chocolate syrup for toppings! J was super friendly. He made sure all the foods got replenished quickly. I will definitely stay at this property again the next time we come to Swarthmore.

The room I had had a really old smell they have to go and spray it.

I felt unsafe and uncomfortable all night I had people banging on my door , kicking it and running, screaming , trying to open my door. Everytime I went to the front desk to ask for help I was followed and would see nobody at the front desk.

Charles at the front day was great. He helped us even before we got to the hotel with accommodations. And while there he couldn’t be more helpful. The other staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was awesome. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. 5 stars for my family and I

Cleanest place I've stayed!!

Staff was helpful. Beds were cheap, noisy spring mattresses. Shower water lacked temperature control. Was almost too hot to shower. Breakfast was very basic and mediocre and scrambled eggs were not real eggs. Location was convenient and close to restaurants.

This Hampton Inn is close to routes 1 and 322 but tucked away and in the back of a parking lot, so its location will offer convenience while ensuring a quiet place for a good night's sleep. The staff are friendly. The decor is a little outdated but the beds are very comfortable and property is very clean. I would highly recommend for either business or personal travel with children.

The pool and hot tub were not available for use. The curbs in the parking area were high and difficult for handicapped. The breakfast options were excellent but the eggs were not hot.

Rated low because the property advertised a pool and hot tub which were out of service and was not advertised or no information was forwarded about this. After the fact, I noted that some rated this problem, but it did not appear among the top reviews on Expedia.

The staff was friendly, the hotel super clean. Our room smelled nice and was very clean. It was spacious enough for three of us. The complimentary breakfast was great. Plenty to choose from. My only complaint is that the beds had to be the most uncomfortable beds we have ever encountered! The pillows were too soft and your head sunk in around it LOL overall I would say we had a good stay.

Do not stay here. My daughter got stuck in the elevator and the place smelled and was filthy. We left and I only got a partial return.

Tried to book at desk. Was told no vacancy. Booked with Expedia 5 minutes later. Comments were made about third party reservations. Tired of rude comments about Expedia.

So booked this hotel especially for pool and it's out of service till November. Breakfast area small with not enough sitting also filthy no one cleaned the tables nor babys highchairs.

The Front desk staff were warm, friendly and efficient. I had arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time and Tyesha (sp?) was able to accommodate me and give me a room for early check in despite the fact that they were full the night before. I also was witness to the staff person at the breakfast area went above and beyond letting all guests in the dining area 10minutes before closing at 10 am if we/they needed anything more from the buffet before she closed up shop. Amazing staff and positive experience in my years of having stayed at many Hampton Inns - which in my mind they have consistency of service in their other Hampton Inn properties of the Hilton family of hotels.

This is a very clean, quiet and well run hotel. The breakfast offerings and service is excellent, rooms very clean and well appointed. Our only disappointment was the non-availability of the pool, which is not indicated in any of them many descriptions of the hotel, which indicate the hotel has a pool.

The breakfast was amazing WAFFLE station. The room was cleaned and the staff was very nice. Only sad part was they were renovating the pool area so the kids couldn’t go swimming.
